Chapter 330

Wake Up! You’re My Ex Now (Cordelia)

Chapter 330 Are You Angry With Me?

"Is Elijah here?"

Cordelia thought and glanced at the time with a frown.

It was nine o'clock in the evening. It was not too late.

She put off her pajamas, dressed neatly, and walked out of the house.

She saw Elijah standing outside the gate and waving to her with a smile.

"Why are you here suddenly?" Cordelia asked as she opened the door

for him.

"I want to see you." Elijah walked into the gate. When he was looking at

Cordelia, there was light in his eyes.

Cordelia’s attitude was still indifferent. "Well. You've seen me. Shouldn't

you return to Beilve City now?"

"I'm not leaving tonight.” Elijah wanted to hold her hand, but she

avoided it.

"At this time, you should stay at the Hansen Group. Aren't you afraid

that the Price Group will play tricks again?" Cordelia casually asked as if

chatting with him.

Elijah said, "That pedantic and conservative family should have been

bankrupted long ago.”

Cordelia raised her eyebrows. "Elijah, your rebellious period has begun

again, huh?"

"I've never stopped being rebellious,” Elijah smiled, "I came to you

tonight to share a secret with you.”

"Oh? What secret?" Cordelia finally became a little interested in this

chat.

She sat on the bench and looked sideways at Elijah.

Elijah lowered his head and played a recording from his mobile phone.

Elijah recognized the crying voice was Edith’s. "Elijah, I have loved Gabe

for many years. But he suddenly said he didn't love me. It turns out that

it was all my wishful thinking. I always believe that he loves me in this

life.”

Cordelia unconsciously clenched her hands when she heard Edith's

crying voice.

No matter how strong a woman was, she still had a fragile side.

Besides, Cordelia always felt that Edith was a nice person, but she had a

tough character.

Under her strong appearance was a kind and soft heart.

In the recording, after a burst of crying, Edith managed to steady her

voice and continued with sobs, "Your father had an ex-girlfriend before

marrying me. They... have a child.”

Cordelia was stunned.

She was not surprised that Gabe had an ex-girlfriend. But Gabe hid this

matter from Edith for so many years.

It was true that people couldn't be judged by appearance. Cordelia

never thought Gabe would be such a person.

The recording was cut off here.

Elijah looked at Cordelia with a faint gaze and said with a smile, "There

is no one who can not leave another. Do you think so?"

Cordelia sighed, "It's all up to you."

"They controlled the first half of my life. Now, I want to live for myself. I

shouldn't always be treated as a victim of the family!" Elijah said

seriously.

"You are right. I believe you can do it." Cordelia smiled

Elijah paused for a moment and suddenly asked, "Cordelia, are you still

angry with me?"

"No," Cordelia replied without thinking.

"Then, we can make peace..."

"No way," Cordelia interrupted his nonsense.

Elijah's eyes suddenly turned gloomy. He smiled mockingly. “That's

right. It's too unfair to you."

"Elijah, don't you think you are very disrespectful?" Cordelia raised her

eyebrows and looked at him. "Or do you think I should return to your

side as soon as you call me?"

"It's my negligence. Sorry," Elijah apologized sincerely.

"You are selfish. You only consider yourself when you make decisions.”

Cordelia stood up and said coldly, "You get engaged to whomever you

want and come back to me whenever you are willing. I don't like this

kind of you at all.”

Elijah stood up abruptly and held her shoulders. "Cordelia, I was wrong.

Don't hate me..."

He hugged Cordelia tightly as he spoke, buried his head in her neck,

and whimpered the last few words. At this time, he looked like a pitiful

crying dog.
