Author's POV

Vidhyut entered his office. There was no expression on his face. But anyone who looks into his eyes can say how happy he is. Finally Jeevika is realizing her feelings. From the day they met they are really close and Vidhyut knows from the beginning that she has feelings for him. But looking at her blushing face, her heavy breathing when he was near him. Makes him happy. Realizing that he was having an effect on her is altogether a different feeling.

He was working in his cabin when someone knocked.

" Come in "

" Sir this is the file you have asked for."

The person who entered spoke. Vidhyut looked at the person and his expression changed as he remembered something. Last two days he was busy but still he didn't forget about that. He narrowed his eyes at the person and asked,

" Keep that here, and BTW I forgot your name, what is it?"

" Sir Rahul."

He said confused. Because it's quite unnatural for Vidhyut to forget names. He always remembers the name. Especially when someone is meeting him daily. And Rahul was one of the employees who worked closely with Vidhyut. So he meets him regularly.

" But that's not what you said to my wife."

Vidhyut said and now the color of Rahul's face drained as he remembered how he introduced himself to jeevika while using filmy line.

" What did you say to her ... .haa...Rahul Naam to suna hoga. Weren't you being too friendly with my wife?"

" Sir... I... was...just..."

" Relax Rahul, I was just asking? BTW I never knew that you love watching movies and then using them on girls. What do you think yourself Sharukh Khan "

" No no sir. I was just trying to make her comfortable. I am sorry. I have to go, I have some work."

Saying he didn't wait to get the permission of Vidhyut and went out as fast as possible. Fear was clearly Visible on his face.

" What happened, Rahul?"

Vishal asked, looking at Rahul's face. He explained everything that happened in Vidhyut's cabin. Vishal started laughing at him.

" Didn't we tell you? Who asked to be so friendly? Thank god that sir didn't know that you were calling Ma'am fairy what he will do with you?"

Rahul gulped and said "let's focus on work yaar I still need this Job." Everyone laughed at him and went back to their work.

Vidhyut was working when he received a call. And went somewhere not knowing he himself was going to ruin some beautiful thing waiting for him at his home. And will bring back the nightmare he has forgotten after meeting someone special.

Jeevika reached home. She is over the moon realizing that she is in love with Vidhyut. Vidhyut is the one for her. Vidhyut is the one whom she wants in her life apart from her mother.

There are only three workers in their house apart from Sujata. She gave all of them leave. And started preparing food for Vidhyut. She also plans to tell her feelings to him. And that's why after cooking Vidhyut's favorite food she backed his favorite cake. And wore a beautiful knee length dress.

After that she started waiting for Vidhyut. She looked clock and spoke to herself,

" It's only seven Jeevi. You are so excited to meet him that you did everything this early. It's still one hour before he returns."

She sat on the sofa in the living room waiting for Vidhyut. She was so excited that she didn't take any rest

after returning from college and started cooking and baking. She was so tired that she didn't realize when sleep consumed her.

She woke up after three hours of napping. She slowly opened his eyes and looked here and there. Then she realizes what happened and how she slept.

She thought he must be here by now and must be in the bedroom. So she went to check the bedroom. When she couldn't find him there she started checking every possible place, His home office, swimming pool, kitchen. But he was nowhere.

Sighing, she went back to the living room and took her phone. First she called Vidhyut but his call was unreachable. She tried it a few more times but to no use.

She remembers that he told her in the morning that he saved his assistant Vihaan's number in her phone. If somehow she can't connect with him she can call and ask Vihaan.

She looked at the clock and it's 11. But having no choice she decided to call Vihaan. When Vihaan picked up the call he Didn't recognise her.

" Hello"

" Hello Vihaan Bhaiya I am Jeevika."

" Sorry I don't know any Jeevika"

"Aree Jeevika, your boss Vidhyut'd wife. "

Vihaan set up on his bed realizing who she is.

" Ohh sorry Ma'am I didn't realize it's you. Is everything ok Ma'am?"

"It's ok Vihaan bhaiya it's just I am calling Vidhyut but he is not picking up the call. Can you please give him a phone? I want to know is he ok?"

" Ma'am I am not with sir. I was sleeping when you called me. Actually Ma'am sir has left office in the afternoon only. He said he has some work. Then he didn't return. So I thought he went directly home."

Jeevika now becomes nervous and tears well up in her eyes. She looked at the clock it's too late if he left the office in the afternoon.

" Ma'am Ma'am are you listening?"

" Hah?"

" Ma'am I am telling you that sir must be there sometime. If you want I can look for him. He must have stuck with some work."

" No it's ok. I think I should wait some more time. He will be here. Still if he will not come I will call Abhi. He must know where Vidhyut is?"

" Abhi?"

" Abhi. Vidhyut's friend."

For a minute Vihaan didn't realize who she was talking to but then recalled the day when they dropped her mother to the airport. Then realized how she was talking with Abhimaan.

" Ok ma'am. Still if you need anything then I am there call me "

" Ok" saying she cut the call.

She waited one more hour but when Vidhyut didn't return she was about to call Abhimaan when Door of their house opened. She got scared for a minute but then looked at the person her all worry flew away.

She just ran and hugged her Vidhyut. Vidhyut was shocked for a minute but then held her. She hugged him for a minute and then came out of his embrace. And look at his face. Which clearly showed how tired he is.

She dragged him to the sofa and made sit. And went back to the kitchen and took water for him. He drinks a full glass in one go. She set beside him and asked,

" You are too late. I was waiting for you. Where were you?"

" I was having some work."

" What work?"

" Do I need to explain everything to you now?"

He snapped at her. She was taken aback by his behavior. He never behaved like this. And never snapped at her, always been polite with her. She felt hurt. But looking at his tired face she didn't dragged metter much.

Just then she saw that knuckles were buried. She grasped at it. And took his hand in her hands and said,

" How did this happen? How did you get hurt?"

He looked at his knuckles and then her. But then suddenly snatch his hands away and said,

" It's nothing. Why are you introgetting on everything? You want to become CA right and you got admission in commerce. Not in the police academy so stop introgetting."

He said and stood up from his place and said,

" I am tired I am going to sleep"

She looked at him. He is behaving completely differently. Being rude with her was the last thing he did. Even when he is too tired. He saw him going towards the bedroom.

She was hurt by his behavior. Tears well up in her eyes. She wants to get angry with him. Wants to shout and wants to ask him what happened suddenly. But looking at him she knows that if she gets angry then the situation will only become worse. She will give him a hard time but not now. First she needs to know what happened.

Keeping her hurt at the side. She went to the bedroom. When she entered he was nowhere to be seen. Which means he is taking a shower. She also Heard the water running voice.

She went to her side of the bed and took the first aid kit. Soon Vidhyut came out. He was just in his shorts. She remembers everything from the morning. But shook her thoughts.

" Let me clean your wounds. "

He refused but still she made sit on the bed and started cleaning his knuckles which are buried.

" I was not introgetting. I just asked you because I was waiting and when you didn't come till this late. I just called Vihaan Bhaiya and he said that you left your office in the afternoon. That's....."

" Ohh so now you are spying on me. I didn't give his number to spying on me. It was for emergency use. "

He said while cutting her in a very harsh tone.

" Vidhyut I ...."

"Please Jeevika, I am very tired. Can I please sleep now? And no need to be introgetting officer now. Please let me have some peace."

He said and lied on bed. She is now very hurt by his behavior. She was concerned about him and he is taking everything the wrong way. Looking at him laying on bed she went to change.

She came out and saw him lying on his side of bed. She lied on her side. But sleep was far away from her. She was hurt by him. But still can see that something is bothering him.

She took a deep breath to calm her anger and hurt. And looked at him. He was sleeping and his back was facing her. Looking at him she knows he is not completely sleeping.

She hugged his back. Put her hands on his chest circling from back. And put her face on his back and spoke in a slow voice.

" I was not introgetting. Nor I call Vihaan Bhaiya for spying on you. I was concerned about you. When you didn't return and your phone was unreachable. That time he said that you left in the afternoon. Listening to it I was so afraid that's why I asked you."

He felt tears on his back. And then listening to her he knows that he messed up. He was angry. He tried to calm his anger but nothing worked. When he returned home he thought she must be sleeping by now but she was awake. And then without his realization he did hurt her.

After completing what she wanted to say she was about to move. Just then Vidhyut turned towards her and hugged her tightly. She wiggles out. But he just titen his hold. And said but this time in pleading soft tone,

" Please Meri jaan don't break a hug. Don't leave me. I was finding peace for a long time not knowing that my peace was waiting for me at my home. I know I have messed up. And you have all the right to get angry but please keep that for tomorrow. Let's be at peace tonight."

They looked into each other's eyes. He can see hurt and anger in her eyes by his behavior. And she can see restlessness and vulnerability in his eyes.

She hugged him tightly. And spoke,

" I am very hurt. I am very angry and also going to show a lot of tantrums tomorrow."

" You have all the right to do anything and I am ready for that."

They hugged each other. And started thinking about the day. How beautifully their morning started and how this day ended. By getting angry and hurt. But the good thung is that still at the end being hurt and angry they are still in each other arms.
