chapter 24

Kajal's Pov.

Finally the night turns into morning. For me this was one of the longest nights I have ever spent.  It's not like I love Vidhyut more and Abhimaan less. I love both of them equally.

But Abhimaan stayed with me once he returned. Even if he was angry. Or not talking to me. He was at least in front of me. But for Vidhyut I was hardly able to see him. Only when he comes to meet Abhimaan.

Once Abhimaan knew about my past he was cordial with me. Started calling me maa. We had a conversation but for Vidhyut this never happened.  I never thought I would be able to stay with him for even a single day. But look, finally I am able to stay with him. Even if it's for two or three days I am still happy.

Once my morning prayers are done. I  went to the kitchen. I saw his house help was doing her work. I asked her if  I wanted to cook.  At first She was hesitant but then agreed. And went to do other work.  I started preparing dough for paratha.

Author's POV.

Jeevika wakes up from her sleep and doesn't find Vidhyut.  First question comes to her mind: did he return at night? But then she saw his t-shirt laying on the couch. Looking at it she realizes that he went to gym.

" Hff now I know why he is so fat. Spending so much time in the gym makes him fat. And what he was telling me, ' this is mussels sweetheart.' haaan"

She mimicked him and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Once she was ready  she went to the kitchen and saw Kajal was preparing breakfast. She went and hugged her from behind.

" Good morning Aunty" she wished her morning cheerful. To which kajal replied with the same enthusiasm.

" Good morning beta "

" What are you cooking?" She asked, standing beside her.  Then look at the dough and make a face.

" Parathas, "  she said sadly.

" Don't get sad beta. Look, I have prepared dosa batter. I will cook dosa for you." She said while tapping her cheeks. And showing her a big bowl where dosa batter was already prepared.

" Sachi. Wow you are the best. Even better then my maa"

" Mucchi. But why are you saying this? That I am better than you're maa?"  Kajal asked while getting curious. She made horror face and wide eyes and said,

" You know Aunty what she did with me, when Vidhyut came to our house for the first time that time she cooked paratha for her. But you know she knows that I don't like paratha much.  that time she told me that it won't harm me if I will eat healthy food one day"

She makes puppy eyes and said,

" Tell me Aunty esa bhi koi karta hai kya? She said this because I like street food and ate Pani Puri one day before." She completed it with pout.

Kajal laughed at her cuteness and pinched her cheeks.

" You are the best. Thank god you came in Vidhyut's life. He is lucky to have you."

" So someone is jealous." Vidhyut spoke from behind and both of them turned towards him.

" Who is jealous?"  She asked

" You are jealous, Meri jaan. That's why you are compiling Mrs. Rathore that Radha maa cooked paratha for me and didn't cook anything special for you"

She narrowed her eyes at him and then spoke,

" You know I was jealous at first. But not any more. You know why because I have Kajal Aunty. Look she is going to cook dosa for. Yesterday she watched a movie with me and cuddled with me. So now I have her in my team."

She said while circling her arms around kajal and asked,

" Hena Aunty, you are in my team ?"  To which Kajal nodded so jeevika showed her tongue to Vidhyut. Before Vidhyut can answer her something doorBell rang.

They came out of the kitchen and the househelp opened the door. Advika and Abhimaan came inside with Rihaan in Abhimaan's arms.  As soon as Rihaan saw his Dadi he made grabby hands.   Kajal took him from Abhimaan. And kissed his cheeks.  Just then Advika spoke,

" Look at him how happy he is now. You know Maa when he woke up from his nap in the evening you were not there at home. He made so much fuss about that. In the morning he also did the same so we decided to take him here. When I read your message that you are going to stay here "

" You did a good beta. '' She said to Advika and then looked at Little Rihaan who was happily hugging her neck.

" So my baby is missing Dadi. " saying she kissed her cheeks.

They talk for sometime. Then Vidhyut went to get ready and Abhimaan received a call. So he went to take it. Kajal went to cook the remaining breakfast and Advika went to help. When Jeevika offer help Advika refused saying,

" It's ok Jeevi. I will help maa. I think you should spend some time with Rihaan. You won't get time after today. "

Jeevika also agreed with her. As she knows that once her college will start she won't get time to meet her Rihaan. So she decided to spend some time.

Soon breakfast is ready. Kajal and Advika came out. Same time Abhimaan also came out after completing his work call. And Vidhyut came downstairs after getting ready. All of them look jeevika with confused faces.

Rihaan was standing in Jeevika's lap as she was making pout of her lips and kissed his cheeks making noise,

" Ummmhaaa"  and then said,

" Loom Rihu this is how you kiss someone ok.  Now come on kiss Chachi's cheeks "

She forword her cheeks and Rihu tried to mimic his actions. All three of them with wide eyes. Vidhyut facepalm himself.

" What the fuck you are teaching my son?" Abhimaan spoke first.

" Maan language"

" You are tell me of language and look at her she is teaching your son how to kiss"

" Ohh come on, he turned 8 months old a few days ago. What is wrong in learning how to kiss on cheeks. " She looked Rihaan and said,

" Ohh Baby you are doing good. Kiss Chachi's cheeks one more time "

She said and Rihaan tried to do it once again. He found this to be fun.  And repeated his actions two or three times more. While making noise.

Vidhyut comes to him who was continuously kissing Jeevika's cheeks and took him in his arms and said,

" Tingu you have done enough practice on your Chachi's face now if you want to practice you can practice on my cheeks."

He said and took him from Jeevika. Rihu who didn't like this holds Vidhyut's hair in his tiny fist and pulled them hard.

"  Ahhha Tingu what are you doing, leave my hair."  He shouted in pain.

Abhimaan laughs at him. To which he said,

" What kind of friend are you? Here your son is pulling my hair and you are enjoying the show. You idiot help me."

Jeevika came and took him in her arms then only Rihaan left his hair.

" You burt look at what you did with my hair. And what do you eat? You have a lot of strength at this age. What will you do when you will be big haa?"

He said and narrowed his eyes to which Rihaan giggled and hid his face in Jeevika's neck.

Kajal called them for breakfast and all of them moved towards the breakfast table with Rihaan still in Jeevika's arms. They settled themselves in their place.

Advika serves everyone and tries to take Rihaan from Jeevika but he is ready to leave Jeevika. And started crying.

" Advika Didi let him be with me. I will feed him. "

Because Rihaan was crying. Advika agreed and gave a bowl of Daliya to jeevika so she could feed him.  Vidhyut sees Jeevika is busy feeding Rihaan. So he made a morsel and moved forward towards Jeevika's mouth.

But before she could eat, Rihu slapped his hands. He made it again but Rihu repeated his actions.

" Tingu what is your problem haa? You are sitting happily in my wife's lap and she is feeding you. Now that I am trying to feed him you are not letting her eat."

" Chi my," Rihu said and pressed his face in Jeevika's cleavage.

" Did he speak?" Vidhyut asked, getting surprised.

" Yes, from the last few days this Tingu has started speaking some words." Abhimaan said. " You know Vidhyut yesterday he was telling Advika that, Maa my, now telling Jeevika as his."

Both the friends narrowed his eyes on Rihu. Who giggles and hides his face again in Jeevika's cleavage.

" What are saying Maan he is just eight months and just mimicked what he listened."

" yes right months old who is claiming someone's wife as his." Vidhyut said sarcastically.

" Abhi, vidhyut Advika didi is right. I don't understand your problem with my baby." Saying jeevika kissed his top of head.

" Yaa  baby look at your baby where he placed his face. Hey Tingu, come out of there. Did I tell you, you can't place your face there" Vidhyut said.

" Vidhyut you are too much, he is just a kid."  Jeevika said.

" I don't like this kid now. You know Tingu I was so happy when you came to this world. But looking at you now I am not happy at all."

Rihu throws a spoon on him which was in his hands. Vidhyut caught it. And said,

" You know Tingu, you are learning so fast. You still have time to learn all this. And this is the last time I am letting you near my wife. If you really want to ask your father to find a beautiful girl for you. But you can't be around my wife."

" Oyy what nonsense you are telling my son. First your wife was teaching my eight months old son about kisses and now you are talking about girls. Both of you are bad company for my innocent son." Abhimaan said.

Before Vidhyut can reply his phone rang and his assistant Vihaan inform about the meeting.

" Sorry I have to go."

He said and kissed Jeevika's forehead and left. With him Abhimaan also left for his office.
