Chapter 6- Explanations and the guys

Riley's POV

"Hey Rileyyy...well hellloo there mister Smith,"

"Shut up Luke," said Wade

"Hi?" I responded

"Mind explaining whats going on here?" Grayson asked with a smirk

"Wait a minute you both disappeared around the same time Miss Brown's classroom was set on fire. Are either of yourl involved in that? Hmmm?" asked Jayden. Well thats great my best friend doubts me. I smiled sheepishly before saying

"That was kind of my fault because Nathan asked me to help him out with his stupid project and I was curious to see what that button does...so I pressed it and the rocket launched and flew straight towards all the chemicals and POOOF Wade heard my cry for help and rescued me. Thank god he knew how to use that extinguisher contraption. So after we tried to extinguish the flames we decided to run away so I wouldn't get caught and ended up going for a milkshake." I rambled

"Woahh." they said in unison

"Well that was unexpected."said Emmette

"I mean c'mon guys won't you feel tempted to press the big red button?"

"No"

"No"

"Hell Yeah" we all looked at Luke and laughed

I knew he'd have my back I mean hes done worse things before and pulled countless pranks on people.

"Guys seriously though we need to cover up for Ry she can't get expelled as yet." Aww Lukey is concer- wait what? expelled as yet

"Hey!! What do you mean by expelled as yet? I've never been expelled and never will..."

Jay burst out laughing upon his outburst he said; "You never been expelled? Dude you've been expelled too many times to even keep track." I rolled my eyes

"Well Jay and I got to get going." I turned towards Wade and said "Thank you for helping me out and for the yummy milkshake." I smiled

Damn she got a dimple on her left cheek soo cute

"Uh Wade were you meant to say that out aloud?" Grayson said a bit louder than usual and laughed

I on the other hand became a blushing mess

I looked at Jay hinted that we should leave.

As we were walking towards the car Wade called out: "Hey why don't we all go out for supper, that way everyone can get to know each other." Its a good idea, at least I won't have to stay cooped up in my room, and its a good way to get Grayson and Jayden to talk

Jay nudged me, "Alright give me your phone," I put my number in Wades phone and handed it back to him."You have my number now so text me the time and venue."

"See you guys later," I saluted and drove out of the parking lot

"Ry I have to tell you something...I've been chatting to Grayson for the past couple of weeks. I messaged him on Instagram and asked for his number" He said slowly

It took me a few seconds to comprehend what he said. Jayden talking to Grayson? Damn Jayden making the first move double damn. I'm a proud momma bear *cries*

"Aww I'm so happy for you and damn you asked for his number... I'm proud and shocked no wait shocked is an understatement." "Drama queen" he muttered

"Anyway I will pick you up half an hour before the meet up you can get the details from Grayson" I said winking

Wade seems to be a nice guy, I'm actually looking forward to getting to know the rest of his friends. Although we occasionally spoke in school I don't know them on a personal level.

Its been a good day I hope the rest of the afternoon goes smooth. I got home and went inside no ones at home thank god for that at least the house will be peaceful. I took a nap and got up just in time. I had a quick shower and got dressed into an olive green pants, black shirt and beige heels. I went downstairs and saw my mum talking to Fred.

"I'm going out mom I'll be back late."

"Excuse me missy did you ask permission to go out? And grow some manners yesterday I was informed that when Fred was calling you downstairs you just ignored him"

I was shocked and beyond furious how dare he lie to my mother now she thinks I'm a mannerless brat.

"Mother I wasn't even at home I stayed over at J-" she held her hand up to stop me

"Don't bother lying, anyway even if you weren't at home you would be sleeping with a boy" she said

Tears rolled down my cheeks how could she think so low of me? I looked at Fred and saw him looking back at me with a smirk. I took my purse and ran out of the house. This is the only damn reason why I street fight, to release all this shit, to release all the anger thats built up in me. I need to speak to Scraggy he needs to book a fight for me.

I wiped my tears and drove like a maniac to Jays house I nearly knock a cat. I'm a mess, I stopped a few houses a way from Jay and fixed my makeup. I stopped in front of his house and hooted twice.

He came down with a bag: "What's with the bag?"

"Oh I was chatting to Grayy and he asked if I'd like to stay over at his house so we could uh you know talk and stuff."

I blinked once then twice and I smiled from ear to ear. I was beyond happy at least he'll have a good day.

"OMFG I'm so happy for you love." I said

"Thank you" he said shyly

"Lets go before they think we're not coming and since my bestie is eager to see someone we should get moving." I winked

We got to the restaurant in 15 minutes we went inside and looked for the guys. Wade stood up and flagged as down, they were seated at a secluded booth which gave us privacy and was located in the back of the restaurant. I sat in between Wade and Jayden, opposite us were Emmette, Luke and Grayson.

"Hey guys" I said

"Hellos" "Hey" "Hiii" "sup babyg"

We ordered our meals and chatted for 2 hours, I got to know each of the guys personally and their quite fun.

Grayson loves to cook and is a nerd

Emmette is quiet but loves art and Luke is well just Luke. He's silly and loves to do crazy things. I think we'd get along pretty well.

These guys are super possessive I don't know if its only for me but when the waitor tried to get my number they all got all big and macho and chased him away.

Throughout the evening Grayson and Jayden were busy chatting away. I went close to Wade and whispered in his ear: "Is it just me or do you also suspect a little romance going on beside me?" I jerked my head towards Gray and Jay, aww their names sound so cute

"Hell yeah these two dummies like each other but are scared to make the first move." He whispered. I wouldn't be too sure about that I thought.

"What are you two whispering about," Emmette asked. I squinted my eyes at him

"You'll find out in due time." I smirked

"Hey do you guys know about the sleepover at Grays house?"

"What sleepover?" Asked Luke... I smirked no one knows about the plan these 2 made. Jay looked at me with eyes wide like saucers.

"Grayson and Jayden made plans to have a sleepover but just for them two." I said while I turned my smirk into a smile

"Wait so for the past few days when you were busy smiling to your phone, you were busy chatting to... Jayden?" Wade said smirking

Jay and Grays cheeks turned pink and they didn't look anyone in the eye.

"I uh ...was going to tell yourl...uh" Gray responded

"Chill dude we understand" Luke winked

We chatted for another hour before I began yawning, "guys I think we should head home now its already 22:00" I told

"You're right and we have school tomorrow and we have 2 new members to our little 'hotties' group." Wade said proudly

"Do people actually call us that?" Emmette asked with a laugh

We replied 'yes' in unison

"Ry don't worry to pick me up because you know..."

"Yeah yeah Grayson will drive you to school" I giggled

For once I was truly happy. I drove home slowly because honestly after today I don't feel like even stepping foot inside that place. The lights were off, I won't worry Shanny to open the door so I parked my car and climbed up the tree thats next to my bedroom window. I sat on a steady branch, reached for my window opened it and jumped in

That took way too much energy. I went to my closet and changed into some pj's, I jumped into bed and set my alarm for 4:30. I need to go to the gym. I scrolled through my instagram feed before falling asleep.

Exams are a couple days away so I won't be posting any chapters for one ½ weeks😪
