Chapter 41: Fight For Life

Rileys POV

I have doubts about my request. If I were to lose then I’ll never see my family again but if I win… I know Fred won’t let go of me that easily. I have no clue of the set up or what’s in store for me so all I’ll do is pray.

I curled up into the corner before my mind took over. Every incident where I cried myself to sleep, the words I’ve been called, everything came up within an instance. I felt I was in a massive room trapped within my mind with all the painful memories circulating me. Right then and there I decided enough is enough! All of what I endured will end today I will not allow Fred nor Blade to destroy the life that I’m building.

Cold taunting eyes were plastered in my mind I used that to my advantage. I always fought when I needed to relieve my anger and today I will do just that.

I was escorted to the main entrance, I could hear the people cheering and screaming. I was nervous because in less than a minute my whole identity will be revealed. Only a thin curtain separated me from the arena.

“Introducing our special fighter for tonight's main event BELLATRIX!” I shook off all signs of nervousness and put my game face on. Watch out Blade I’ll show you who I really am

As I walk to the ring I’m overwhelmed with the amount of people present here. There must be thousands! I scanned the crowd as I walked and saw my family. I stopped for half a second before jumping into the ring. The guys were watching me with mixed emotions; I just hope they don’t try to save me or anything. I don’t want them to risk their lives for me and I have no idea who is a part of Fred’s associates.

I stood in the middle of the ring and the crowd went insane. I noticed Luke and Emmette started screaming first. Fred was watching my every move while he spoke to some people must be to see how much money he’ll make. The announcer was about to call Blade but I asked for the microphone instead.

“Today will be the fight of my life. I’m doing this for my family... my real name is Riley Mathews.” With that I removed my mask and put my hood down. I looked into the crowd with a daunting smirk. Jayden gave me thumbs up and a reassuring smile

“Woah! I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say the best fighter known to man is absolutely beautiful!” The announcer compliments me and I nodded in return with a slight smile

It was Blades time to enter he walked in like a macho man but looked like a mouse on steroids.

He walked in and stood an inch away from me. He had a smirk while I was emotionless. As if a switch when off inside of me, I smiled at him. Maybe he thought I was crazy because I tilted my head to the side and smiled completely throwing him off guard. He stepped back with a snarl.

I curled my fist and walked besides the ropes waiting for the bell to ring. I chuckled at him which only seems to make him angrier.

Wades POV

We was waiting for Rileys arrival, I was worried she would be in pain. But when her eyes connected with mines I knew she was ready to end it all. At the back of my mind I was praying non-stop, I wanted to get involved by shooting Fred and getting Riley far from here. But I didn’t want to be selfish and risk everyones life.

When she was in the ring I could see something was a little off about her. It was as if she was a whole new person, I’ve watched many of her fights but I’ve never seen her like this. She was face to face with Blade when she smiled. But that smile was no ordinary one it made me feel just as uncomfortable as he felt.

The fight began and Blade was unleashing all of his power onto her mid- section. She didn’t even fight back at this point I was sure she got in that ring to die in front of thousands of people.

But I saw that spark in her eye it was all a part of her plan.

Rileys POV

Blade lunged at me throwing punches to my stomach until I fell to the ground. I was pushed into the corner while he kicked and punched with all his might. I held my arms in front of me trying to block out the impact. I took the beating until he felt he won. The crowd was silent. I can hear people screaming for me to get up.

He crouched down in front of before saying: “You call yourself a fighter yet I beat you in under 5 minutes.” He laughs and steps back. Oh Blade you don’t know what you’ve gotten yourself into

I picked my head up and smiled at him. I rose to my feet and stretched my back out, it was as if I was never even injured. I cracked my knuckles and walked slowly to him. He looked surprised and scared. He held his fists out ready to punch me.

He throws the first punch I caught it, he throws a second I caught it too. He tries to elbow me in the face but I dodge it. With all my power I punched him on his nose, blood trickled down. He winced in pain and that’s when the beast was unleashed.

I grabbed his hand and sent him flying into the corner before I mercilessly threw punches to his head and kicked him. The referee had pulled me back but did that stop me? Hahaha. I grabbed his legs and pulled him into the centre, punch after punch landed on his lips, cheeks and the side of his head. I will only stop if he begs me too. I know what some may be thinking… why am I being so cruel, I need to be the bigger person but! Blade didn’t care when he inflicted pain on me, he didn’t care all these years of emotionally abusing me every time I went to Freddys house. There’s only so much a person can take

I left him to regain himself while I glanced at Fred who looked angry yet satisfied. I pulled him up and sent him head first onto the top turnbuckle. He stumbled back and that’s where I saw an opportunity. I picked him up and slammed him onto the floor he whined in pain trying to rub his back. Walking up to him he looked at me will full fear in his eyes. I waited for that moment he scooted all around the ring.

I pushed him onto the right side where Fred was sitting he was furious. Punching and kicking with all that I had left until I saw he didn’t move. I left Blade face first onto the floor and jogged to get a bottle of water. I don’t know what had happened but all I knew was someone from out of the ring grabbed my leg and pulled me resulting in my head hitting the floor. Blade somehow found a thick rope and got it around my throat chocking me until my neck started turning bright red.

He let go after I grabbed his head and flipped us over.  I quickly sat on his back held his head with my arms into a death clutch. No I didn’t plan on killing him, just needed to leave him unconscious. I tightened my grip on him. “I told you not to underestimate me Blade.” I chuckled into his ear

He passes out…

“RILEY ALSO KNOWN AS BELLATRIX IS THE WINNER!” I dropped his lifeless body and grinned. I was in pain from last nights beating. The referee held my hand up showing off Riley to the crowd. Everyone chanted Riley! One way, I kind of liked it better than Bellatrix

I looked for Fred who was nowhere to be seen; everyone started piling out of the door. My match was the last and final event so everyone was rushing out of the exits.

I felt a hand cover my mouth I was being dragged out. I used my elbow to injure whoever it was behind me. Fred stared at me in fury he grabbed my hair and grabbed my throat chocking me. For the first time in my life I fought back with him. I kicked him where the sun don’t shine, he fell to the floor. I kicked and punched him to the point where I was crying. Crying from all the pain I’ve endured because of him.

I felt warm hands pull me back it was Wade. I wiped my tears away and hugged him as if I saw him after centuries. By that time most of the arena was empty no one was worried about the commotion. As we jumped out of the ring Fred stood to his feet holding a gun pointing directly at me. The ropes were supporting his lifeless body.

“YOU CANNOT LEAVE! You think you won huh? Well think again princess with one bullet I’ll end your very existence!” He stumbled and panted

“Fred don’t do this!” I was breathing heavily. I wasn’t afraid of death. I cared more about what he’d do to everyone else. And obviously if I were to be shot the guys will try to kill him.

“Rest in hell Riley.” He spits

*BANG*

A gunshot rang throughout the arena but I wasn’t hit. I panicked and checked on everyone but they all are fine.

“Don’t you dare touch my daughter you filthy bastard!”

“Mom?”

I looked at the source of the voice and saw my mom standing on the other side of the ring with a gun in hand. To say we all were utterly surprised was a major understatement.

Fred was laying on the floor in a pool of blood wincing everytime he moved. I ran to mom and hugged her after years. I held her and cried. She kept saying she’s sorry and held onto me tighter.

Polices flooded the arena grabbing Fred and Blade. The funny part was none of the guys who Fred brought were there to help him out.

“Riley are you okay!?” Everyone rushed to my side

“I’m great!” I smiled with full tears

“Now that Freds gone to jail. You are safe my love. You’re quite famous too.” Wade chuckles

“We can finally start our life together.” I stared into his eyes

“Lets go home now shall we.” We shared a brief kiss before going home.
