Chapter 35: Reece!

Riley’s POV

“Reece!” Evangelene screams and runs up to a man, who pulls her into a hug

“Hi dad.” Wade says with a small smile

Mr Smith? He looks awfully familiar and it’s not because he’s Wades dad. I’ve seen him somewhere before…

“Boys I haven’t seen you so long! Come give me a hug.” They all started talking and all went in for a group hug

“Dad this is Riley my girlfriend.” Wade says proudly

“Hi.” I say shyly

“It’s nice to finally meet you. Evangelene can’t stop talking about you.” He chuckled and Evangelene rolls her eyes/ shakes her head

“Now that introductions are over, can we go out and have fun?” Luke asks hopeful. I think he just wants to find a girl or two [wink wink]

“Reece we left in such a rush yesterday that we didn’t have time to eat so Riley made macaroni and cheese for our supper/ breakfast. Have a quick bite.” Evangelene says as she placed her hand on his shoulder

“I’m fine don’t worry. Can I see my babyg-”

“Daddy!” Emily comes running and jumps into her dads arms

*flashback* {Riley at 6 years old}

“Daddy!” I screamed as tears ran down my face

“My baby. Don’t cry please.” Daddy held me and wiped my eyes

“Daddy where were you. Why did you leave me!” I jumped down and crossed my arms

*chuckling* “I had to sort things out for work angel. I bought you something I’ll bring it in a minute.”

“Daddy promise you won’t leave me!” I wiped my eyes and hugged his legs

“I pinky promise you. I will never leave you ever again.” He smiled oh so brightly

***end of flashback***

But he did leave me and he’s never coming back. These memories are bittersweet, it’s painful but I’m happy I still remember it.

I was brought back to reality when Jayden placed his hand on my back and handed me a tissue. I sharply turned around and wiped my tears away. Lucky no one else noticed. Wade told us about what they decided to do today.

“Everyone be ready in 10 minutes. We are going to Madrid Zoo Aquarium.” Reece announces

I didn’t get a chance to lie on this marvellous bed but anyway if I did right now; I think I’ll sleep for the next 3 days. Wade kept asking me if I was okay I know he’s concerned but I’m fine. I changed into denim shorts and an olive shirt with white sneakers.

You can faintly see the scar but I didn’t care, my hair was tied up from last night so once I opened it my hair cascaded down my shoulders in waves.

"Someone looks gorgeous as ever." Wade whispers in my ear as he hugs me from behind

"Oh really. I must've done well." I smirked and faced him. He was using a white shirt which clunged to his muscles, with black denim jeans.

I had no shame I scanned him from head to toe.

"See something you like?" Wade asks cockily with a sly smirk

"Nah." Haa crushed you like that! His face was priceless, shame he didn't expect that.

"Ahh not so fast." He grabbed my hand just as I turned to leave. He spun me so I went directly into his arms. Home...

"For someone who didn't like what they just saw, you sure are clinging onto me." He says chuckling deeply

"I don't like my view, I love it." I winked and pecked his cheek

"And I love you. Can I have a proper kiss Miss Mathews?" He was staring deep into my soul, I was in a trace and I didn't mind at all

"Anything for you Mr Smith!" Oh lord please don't let anyone disturb us this time. Our lips connected... Do you ever feel like; once when you start to kiss someone your lips become a magnet so you can't pull yourself away. Well I feel the same at the moment. I wanted to lose myself in his arms even for a minute but you know that won't happen because Luke came barging in.

"Why do y'all kiss whenever I decide to come. Jesus help me why do I always interrupt; soon Wade will kill me an-" Luke rambles and rubs his temples

"Wade will hit you if you don't get the hell out of his room." Wade says annoyance dripping out into a thick puddle.

"Lets just go." Chuckling, I grabbed his hand and led him downstairs

We decided to take two cars so we each got in and Luke was left. He couldn't decide who he should go with lets just say him going with Wades parents was worth it.

*** at Aquarium parking lot ***

"You are never coming in the same car with me again. Jesus Christ my head is paining." Reece literally growls

Evangelene was recovering from laughing so much. I could see how red her face was.

"What did you do to them Lukey." I asked. I was inquisitive because what can a goofball like him do that will make you go so insane?

"I sang my favourite songs." He says with puppy eyes. Oh god that was enough to understand Reece's pain. Luke doesn't sing he screeches and well he's really very off tune. Its quite funny though.

"I feel your pain he can be a handful at times... Uhm sir..." I sheepishly said

"More like all the time." Jayden coughed out. With earned a glare from Luke

"Call me by my name Riley." Reece laughs

"By the time we actually go inside this place will close." Wade says looking at his watch

I've always had an obsession of fish. Not the goldfish in a tiny tank; rather the huge tanks filled with hundreds of different coloured fish. Watching them instantly calms you and they're such amazing things. Plus which girl wouldn't love going on a date with her family and boyfriend to the aquarium.

We spent the afternoon looking at the  different kinds of sea life. We didn't get to see all the animals because it was getting late and I spent most of my time sitting in front of the biggest tank in the place.

Jayden and Grayson were our photographers I'm positive that they had taken at least 1000 pictures today. Like any other day surrounded by my new beautiful family everything was a delight!

Except for one thing. I'm not sure if I was being paranoid but I kept getting this weird feeling like I was being watched. I didn't mention it to Wade, this time was just to have fun and destress.

We bought snacks and nibbled throughout the day so we didn't bother eating supper. When we drove back home everyone was half asleep. I don't blame them its been a tiring week. And today was truly amazing; also Emily made Emmette and Grayson run around with her. So those two was knocked out snoring in the backseat.

I was lost in thoughts but I had this faint smile that wasn't leaving. Is this what it's like to be happy without any pain and worry in the universe?  Well if it is then I hope it doesn't leave.

When we got home Wade and I woke up whoever fell asleep, I had taken Emily to bed. We locked up and were the last to go in the master bedroom. (I'm Still overjoyed with my room.)

I changed into my pjs and Wade slept in his boxers. Yup shirtless. Damn this boy wants to wake up with my drool on him.

"Seems like you'll start drooling now." Wade says with a big fat smirk. Idiot.

"Can you blame me." I winked

"Well lucky for you this is all yours." He places his arms around me and gives an affectionate kiss on the top of my head

"You're all I ever need." I was being honest. I was getting shy so I turned away

"Don't hide your beautiful face... Riley look me." He says softly

"Babygirl..." I looked him in his eyes

"Yes Wade..." My voice was barely a whisper. Our lips were centimeters apart.

"Did you just quote Austin Mahone just a minute ago." He gives a funny yet cute goofy smile

"You idiot I thought you was going to say something sweet to me. And yes I just did!" I picked up my fluffiest pillow and wacked him in his beautiful face. Hard!

"Jesus woman calm yourself." He says in between laughs

"Goodnight you idiot. My idiot." I was still a teeny tiny bit annoyed but he's still my baby at the end of the day.

"Goodnight my angel." He wraps his arms around my waist. Sleep took us no longer than a minute later.

I didn't even have time to swoon over my comfy bed and blankets!
