Chapter 15- Secrete Place

W-where am I? "Hello is anyone there." I continue walking through the deserted tunnel and there's like no end to it.

After god knows how long, I reached the end of the tunnel and to my horror Fred was seated on a massive chair with two Rottweiler's at his side.

"Welcome to hell Angel." Fred smirks and the dogs charge towards me

"AHHHHH, HELP ME!" I scream

"Riley, wake up. Hunny it's a dream!" Mom shakes me

I jolted awake and looked straight at my mom. She pulls me close to her and I cry in her arms.

"Calm down Rilee, it was just a bad dream." She strokes my hair

"I-it f-felt so real." After a while I calmed down and mom left for work so I had a bath.

I was still a bit shaken up. I went downstairs and made French toast and a cup of coffee.

It has been a while since I peacefully sat in the lounge and watched television so I made my breakfast and watched a couple of programs.

*knock* *knock*

I wasn't expecting anyone today so who could it be?

"Wade?" Oh shit I forgot about our plans. But damn he looks hot, he's using black jeans, black shoes and a white shirt.

"Uh Riley, stop daydreaming." he snaps his fingers in front of my face

"W-what, me daydream pssh no." I awkwardly say

"You ready to go?" He chuckles

"Yep, let me just grab my phone." Smiling I walk inside, get my phone and go to the car

"Welcome to Wades Travel automobile milady." He does a small bow. How fancy.

"Oh wow, how lovely." I giggled and jumped in. I got to stop with this giggling.

Wade got into the van and we began our journey to this special place. He said it's a long drive so I hope this place is nice. We spoke about small meaningless

things and listened to music, we belted out lyrics like there's no tomorrow.

Over these past few days I've gotten closer to Wade and I feel safe when I'm around him. I feel I can trust him, but I don't think I'm ready to tell him about

Bellatrixs life. But at the same time I'm scared, no actually terrified if he finds out who I really am how would he react. I don't want him or the other guys to

hate me for keeping such a big secrete away from them.

"So where are we going?" I ask eagerly

"To France." He says cheekily

"Reaaaallllllyyyy?" I ask with puppy eyes

"Of course not, how can we get to France in 45 minutes that to without packing any clothes?" He lets out a short laugh and shakes his head

"Well I was just kidding pssh can't believe you thought I believed you."

"Yeah right. Anyway I'm taking you to a place where you'll enjoy the view and the rest you'll find out just now." Huffing I give up

We were about 20 minutes away from our destination so I scrolled through Instagram and eventually fell asleep. What? Long drives tire me, do not judge.

"Riley."

"Riley wake up. Sleeping beauty we've arrived."

"Oh god this girl could sleep through an earthquake."

"RILEY!"

"Ahhh!" I woke up in a shock and start throwing punches at whoever was shaking me

"Riley, oww it's me Wade. Stop! You ouch." I immediately stop and open one eye and sheepishly smile at him

"I'm sorry, it's just a reflex sense of mine." I mutter

"It's alright, anyway lets go." Wade says rubbing his arm

"Wade, this looks like... a forest? Uh why did you bring me to this place?" I ask utterly confused

"Shh be patient you will find the reason just now." With a wink we were off walking through a pathway

"We have been walking for the past few minutes and I still don't know what's the big deal abou-" "Woah."

I was utterly amazed, we came to the edge of a cliff and might I say the view is magnificent. I turned to Wade with a bright smile and wrapped my arms

around him.

"Thanks a million for bringing me here." I think he got a shock because of my sudden movements. He just stood there frozen, I honestly felt hurt so I awkwardly took step back. Wade snapped out of his daze and pulled me into a hug, nuzzling his nose into my shoulder.

"You're most welcome my love." He breathed out

After our small hugging situation, I sat on a rock and just admired my surroundings. There were different colour birds flying in the distance.

"This looks beyond gorgeous Wadey." I say in amazement

"Yes you do." He whispers

Did I just hear him say that? I look at my shoes and blush.

"I-I mean yeah the view looks g-great." He stammers and I chuckle

"Hmm, so you weren't joking when you said I'd like this place. But how did you find this place?" I question

"Well, I had a rough day so I just took a drive and stopped here. I don't know why I felt that this place would one day be special to me so I jumped off and

took a walk to cool off my mind and Viola paradise."

"Well that's cool. I'm glad you brought me here. Do the guys come here often?"

"Actually...they don't know about this place." He mutters the last part

"I didn't hear you?" I look at him with an eyebrow raised

"They don't know about this place. You're actually the first person to see this, you're the only person who I've brought here. I come here just to relax and to

think and if I'm having a rough day this place just calms me. " He says. I just stare at him, I'm lost for words

"Oh my, this place means a lot to you then. But thank you for trusting me." I say sincerely

"I saw that you've been uneasy for these past few days so I felt this was the best time to show you my secrete hideout." He smiles

"Thank you." I whisper. I got to keep my guard up, I'm shocked that he noticed my change of mood and all.

"Anytime princess. I didn't bring you here just for the view. I actually installed a small box around here somewhere. I sometimes as girly as it sounds, I write

about how I feel on a piece of paper. I put it in an envelope, write my name on the front and put the letter in the box. It's like I write all my worries on that

page and those worries stay behind here."

I can't believe this. I'd never expect Wade to be this kind of a person like okay I know he's like a badboy and all but I don't know...

"Wow, I don't know what to say. But doing this doesn't mean that you're girly, it's actually a pretty good idea to write your feelings and leave it here." I smile

and touch his hand

"You're welcome to make use of this box and place whenever you feel like. But uh... try not to bring any guys here I'd like to leave this place where my Best

Friend and I can hang out." He says shyly. H-he called me his best friend.

"Hmm I wasn't planning on letting anyone find out about this place. How about

we name this place our special spot." I grin

"Sounds great, Riley and Wades spot! I like it." He smiles and his hair falls into his eyes.

Ahh he looks so cute right now.

"You want to write anything down?" he asks

"Yeah but I don't have a pa-"

"I came prepared." He chuckles and pulls out a notebook and pen. He hands it to me and I began writing. He respected my privacy and took a walk. Just to give me some time to write although I wanted him to stay.

I just finished putting the page into a blue envelope when Wade walks back to me.

"Since today I've brought you to my place I gave you a different colour envelope. So 10 years from now you can open it if you'd like and you'll remember this day."He pulls out his one from his pocket

We walk towards a huge tree not far from the rock and he hands me his envelope. Wade runs and jumps onto the trunk. He steadies himself and grabs

a box which was resting on 2 branches.

The box is a nice size and there's a lock on it so no one could open it even if they wanted to. We place our envelopes through the slit on top and Wade

places the box back onto the tree and secures it.

How I'd reach the box being my short self only god will know.

"You were right it does feel good to write down what you feel." I smile

"There's also something else you'd like to see." He smirks

"Which is?"

"My Six pack." He shines his pearly whites

"You. Are. An. Idiot." I chuckled

"Correction, your idiot." He wiggles his eyebrows

I chuckled. We walked back to the rock and played cards which I had lost all 7 rounds. Then we played snakes and ladders and I won. *jumps up and down*

*funny noise that sounds like dinosaur grumbling*

I look up at Wade and quickly look at the ground. Way to kill the moment, if you haven't guessed it as yet. My stomach just grumbled.

*chuckling*

"I need to feed the little dinosaur c'mon." he grinned

"Nooo, I don't want to leave this place as yet. And I'm lazy I don't feel like walking." I whined

"Lazy bum how does a piggy back ride sound?" he smirks

"Sounds like my kindda thing." I grin

"But before we leave I want to carve my name on the tree."

"Lets do it together." I smile

Wade took out a pocket knife and we carved our names and the date onto a big ole tree.

Wade squats and I jump on him.

"Come on horsey, giddy up." I shout and laugh

"I am not a horse madam, but if I were one I'd be a handsome one." He pushes his chest out and I giggle

We made it onto the main road where cars were speeding past, just as Wade was about to put me down. A lady walks towards us, I think she came with her family because there was a car next to Wades with music softly playing and kids eating.

"Hi dear, would you like me to take a picture of you and your girlfriend. You look cute together." The kind lady says. Before I could tell we're not dating

Wade squeezes my thigh.

"That will be very kind of you, thank you." Wade politely says. He hands her his phone and she takes a couple photos of Wade giving me a piggy back ride.

Wade puts me down, I wave at the lady and went into the car. I faintly heard him talking to the lady.

"You better make her yours before someone claims her." The lady say

I couldn't hear Wades response.

He walks back smiling. "You ready to go?"

"Ready as I'll ever be Smith." I grin

Wade drove to a small café, we walked in and an old sweet lady served us.

"Good afternoon my sweeties I'm Margaret, what can I get for you?" she kindly asks

"I'll have a chicken and mayo sandwich with a chocolate milkshake." Wade orders while I flip through the menu

"I'll have a slice of Bar One cake a-"

"Riley you were literally dying with hunger just a few minutes ago and now you order cake?" Wade laughs

"Er, yeah?"

"Don't be silly, order something that'll fill you up and I'll buy you cake later." He says

Awww so sweeeeeet.

"Fine, I'll have the same thing as him but with extra chips." I huff but smile

"Okay lovies I'll bring your order in a few minutes." She smiles and leaves

"Margaret is so sweet, how nice if there are more people just as sweet as her."

"True, maybe she could-"

*Shouting*

"What is wrong with you! This will come out of your pay check you old lady!" Someone angrily shouts

"Wade what's going on?" I question

"Hold on I'll be back." He wakes up angrily

Wade walks over to a table at the other end of the room. He looks intimidating and boy I'd be scared if I was being targeted by him.

"Margaret what's wrong?" he asks calmly

"Oh! I'll tell you what this old lady did! She-" the man sneers

"Was I speaking to you? Are you Margret?" Wade asks in an angry low tone

"Er, I-I."

"Dear I'm so sorry, I tripped on the babies shoe and the cool drink flew straight on the table and splashed onto his shirt." Margret cries. My heart sinks.

"Did you hear what she said? Look up the term accident, maybe you'll understand what had happened." Wade seethes

"And who the hell are you to speak to me like that!" the man screams

"LOWER your volume, this is a café. Mistakes happen you have to learn to live with it. You had no right to raise your voice and speak so rudely her."

"Then what do you expect-"

"Would you speak to your mother like that!" Wade asks angrily. The man looks down.

"Exactly, so I suggest you apologise and put this all behind."

"O-okay. I'm sorry for how I spoke." He says and puts his head down

"It's okay." Margret wipes her eyes and quietly walks away

Wade walks back to our table and sits down. I just stare at him in admiration, what he did was so kind of him.

"Why are you staring at me." He looks at me weirdly

"Because of what you did, that was kind of you. And you've gained the respect of everyone in this room." I say astonished and look around

"I did what I had to do, no one is supposed to be treated like that." He says

"Here is your orders, enjoy my babies. Thank you son for standing up for me."

Margaret says with tears in her eyes

"Don't worry about it." He wakes up and hugs her

I'm going to cry.

Wade and I ate our meals which were delicious. I was so full that I sat back and just closed my eyes.

"You still want cake?" he chuckles

"Oh shut up. I'm so full I don't know if I can even walk." I grumble

"Fat bum." He coughs out

"I heard that." He lets out a hearty laugh and I smile

We paid for our meals and were about to leave when Margaret calls Wade.

"This is for you and your girlfriend young man, it's just a way for me to say thank you." She smiles. He didn't want to seem rude so he accepts it and hugs her. I thank her and we get back on the road and head home.

"Wadeyyyy."

"Yep." He said popping the 'p'

"Thank you for this amazing day and for showing me our secrete spot." I say tilting my head against the window

"No need to thank me princess." He smiles. "I mean who wouldn't spend time with this sexy guy." He smirks and tousles his hair

"Cocky idiot." We laugh

"As long as you had fun, I'm happy. And I want to see that bright smile remain on your face all the time." He smiles and I look out my window and smile.

*yawn*

15 minutes into the drive and I'm already fast asleep.

"I won't even try to wake her up after this morning's incident so I'll just carry her to her room."

"Mornings incident?"

"Don't worry Shanny. I'll just put her in bed and I'll be off."

I stir in my sleep, I could hear people whispering but I was too tired to open my eyes. I felt my back hit something soft I realised it was my bed. I was about to open my eyes before Wade spoke, which left me speechless.

"Goodnight my love, sleep tight... I-I think I'm falling in love with you."
