Chapter 79: A Table Full Of Love

Happily Unmarried- Part 4 (Updating Daily) (Hinglish) (Final Part)

Later,

at the dining table:

(The entire family gathered around the dining table, the aroma of freshly cooked food filling the air.

The atmosphere was warm, buzzing with lighthearted conversations and occasional laughter.

Plates clinked, and spoons scraped against bowls as everyone enjoyed their meal together.)

..

..

Just then,

(Kiaan leaned forward, an excited glint in his eyes.)

Kiaan: (grinning) Toh? Shaadi ki planning shuru karein? When is it happening?

(Purab's mother, who had been busy scrolling through her phone, suddenly looked up.)

Purab's Mother: Maine Vikram aur Naina ki kundli, apne Pandit ji ko WhatsApp pe bheji thi ... bas abhi- abhi unka message aaya hai. (adjusting her glasses to read) woh keh rahe hain, ki agle 6 mahine tak, shaadi ke liye achha yog hai.

(Naina frowned slightly, setting her spoon down.)

Naina: (thoughtfully) Main toh chahti thi, ki shaadi, bacchon ke board exams ke baad ho...  12th finals hain!!! Its an important exam!!!

(She glanced at Vikram, seeking his support. He nodded in agreement.)

Vikram: (nodding) Haan, main bhi yahi soch raha tha. Exams ke pressure mein distraction nahi hona chahiye.

(Vikram turned towards Purab's mother and asked politely)

Vikram: Aunty, Kya Pandit ji se, ek aur date poochh sakte hain? Exams ke baad, koi accha muhurat ho, toh better hoga.

(Before anyone could respond, Kiaan sat up straight, his expression overly dramatic.)

Kiaan: (emphatically) Koi zaroorat nahi shaadi delay karne ki!! (leans forward) 12th ke finals khatam hote hi, main medical entrance exams ki taiyaari mein lag jaaunga. And woh kaafi intense hogi... Phir Kiru ka racing season bhi toh shuru ho jaayega.... aur iska bhi toh college hunting shuru ho jaayega!!

(Kiara, who had been quietly listening, swallowed her bite before adding her agreement.)

Kiara: Exactly!!! Kiaan is right. Agar aap perfect moment ka wait karte rahe, toh shaadi bas postpone hi hoti rahegi. Life doesn't wait!

(Naina chuckled at their logic. She glanced at Vikram, who smirked.)

Naina: (teasing) Bachchon ki zindagi plan karte-karte... maa-baap hamesha apne aap ko, secondary position par rakh dete hain!

(Vikram let out a short laugh, shaking his head.)

Vikram: (grins) Woh toh hai. Par main bhi Kiaan se agree karta hoon, Naina. He is right! Life mein perfect moment kabhi nahi aata. Let's not wait!

(Leaning back in his chair, he crossed his arms confidently.)

Vikram: Hum ek mahine mein shaadi kar lete hain!!! kyunki aur delay kiya... toh bacchon ke pre- boards nazdeek aajayenge!!! Aur, main nahi chahta, ki us waqt koi disturbance ho!!!

(Naina sighed, considering his words carefully. Then, after a beat, she nodded.)

Naina: (sighs) Theek hai... let's do it that way. (raising a finger) Lekin ek baat clear kar doon... Mujhe detailed aur extravagant shaadi nahi chahiye! I don't want a 3-day function wali wedding! I want it simple! Will that be okay?

(Vikram raised an amused eyebrow.)

Vikram: Simple? Matlab mandir mein shaadi karni hai kya?

(Naina burst out laughing.)

Naina: Nahi babba... Bas ek din ka function rakhenge. Ek acchi jagah book kar lenge, thoda bahut decoration bhi karwaa lenge.... lekin sab kuch ek hi din mein khatam karenge.

(Vikram thought for a moment, then nodded approvingly.)

Vikram: Hmmm... Yeh idea bura nahi hai...

(Purab, who had been quietly listening, suddenly jumped in, excitement lighting up his face.)

Purab: Tum dono bas date finalize kar lo, baaki sab mere upar chhod do!! Mere friend ki ek property hai outskirts pe... He rents it out for parties and stuff. We can book that for the wedding. Subah ko shaadi ka program rakhte hain, followed by lunch... Aur phir shaam ko ek acchi si DJ waali party!!!

(Naina's eyes lit up at the idea.)

Naina: perfect!!! That's what I want!!! Aur haan.... sirf close friends aur family ko hi invite karenge... Theek hai na??

(Anuradha, who had been quietly observing, clapped her hands together in excitement.)

Anuradha: (enthusiastic) Yeh idea accha hai! Simple shaadi aur shaam ko ek classy party. Best of both worlds! hain naa?

Purab's mother: jee bilkul!!!

(The family exchanged smiles, the excitement in the room palpable as they began discussing details, the afternoon turning into an impromptu wedding planning session over lunch.)

Purab: (smiles) Vikram bhai and Nunu.... tum dono, sach mein bilkul bhi tension mat lo!!! Saari arrangements hum dekh lenge!!! Sab hum sambhal lenge!!

(Naina shoots him a knowing look)

Naina: (raising an eyebrow) actually, tu toh rehne hi do, Pogo!!!! Tumhaare arrangements ka matlab, hamesha kuch na kuch dhamaka hota hai... (she turns to Purab's father) Sahi keh rahi hoon naa, uncle?

Purab's father: (smirks) haan beta... Purab pe itna bhi bharosa nahi karna chahiye!!!!

Purab: (laughing, hands up in mock surrender) Arrey... aisa kuch nahi hoga!!!! Nunu jaise chahati hai, waise hi hoga.... (grins) I just want ki, Nunu aur Vikram aaram se rahe.... dulha-dulhan banne ki taiyaari kare.... baaki sab ham pe chhod dein!!

Purab's mother: Haan beta... (smiles) Aur shaadi ke rasmein ki bhi chinta mat karo.... Pandit ko call karna, shaadi mein kya-kya chahiye, yeh sab main aur Anuradha ji mil kar dekh lenge.

Anuradha: haan ji... bilkul!!

Bhoomika: (grins, chimes in) aur, shaadi ki shopping ki responsibility main aur Jyoti bhabhi le lenge... Aur Tanvi didi se bhi phone pe coordinate kar lenge!

Kiara: (eyes gleamed mischievously) Bhoomika chachi... Main aapko ek special responsibility de rahi hoon! Mera lehenga choose karne ki duty, aapki hai!!!!

Bhoomika: (laughing, ruffling Kiara's hair) Done!

Kiara: (dramatically flipping her hair) Par ek dum out-of-the-world lehenga chahiye! Dulhan ki beti hoon main... swag bhi hatke hona chahiye!

(The table erupts into laughter as Kiara strikes a dramatic pose, making everyone chuckle.)

Vikram: (smirks at Kiara) Aur koi farmaaish, raani sahiba?

Kiara: (tapping her chin, pretending to think) Haan! No more boring dinners, please! Shaadi ki planning ke saath-saath, roz kuch na kuch exciting banna chahiye dinner mein!

Anuradha: (laughing, shaking her head) Theek hai, madam! Roz special kuch banwa denge!!! Aur kuch???

(Kiaan suddenly remembered something. His eyes widening)

Kiaan: Kiru! We forgot the most important thing!

Kiara: (frowning) Kya?

Kiaan: (dramatically) We need a hashtag for the wedding!

Kiara: (gasping) oh haan!!!! (she begins to think, excited) How about '#VikAina Forever'?

Kiaan: (rolling his eyes) Seriously? Yeh toh Avengers ki movie 'Wakanda Forever' jaisa lag raha hai!

Kiara: (giggling) Okay, how about... #NaiVik2025?

Kiaan: (making a face) Are you serious? It sounds like an energy drink!

Kiara: (huffing) Okay, Mr. Perfectionist. Tumhaare paas koi idea hai toh batao phir!!!

Kiaan: Kiru... it has to be something classy... trendy, but not try-hard... It just needs that 'X factor'.

Kiara: (dramatically sighing) Or it could just be fun and sentimental. How about... 'VikramKiNaina'?

Kiaan: (sarcastically) Wow. So original, hai naa??? And so obvious!!!! (He shakes his head) Tumse kuch hoga hi nahi... mujhe hi kuch dekhna padega!

(As the debate over the perfect hashtag continued, the playful bickering between Kiaan and Kiara filled the air.

Their contrasting styles clashed yet somehow complemented each other, like always.

Naina shook her head, a small, affectionate smile on her lips as she watched them.

This was what she had always wanted—a home filled with banter, laughter, and unconditional love.

..

Just then,

Purab leaned in, nudging Vikram, his eyes twinkling.

He chuckled, glancing at his twins, who were animatedly arguing over a simple hashtag, completely unaware of how much their antics warmed everyone's hearts.

Bhoomika, watching them, turned to her son, who was too busy stuffing his tiny fists with food, to care about the conversation.

She shook her head with amusement and wiped his messy hands gently.)

(The table burst into another round of laughter, the warmth of family enveloping the space.

Anuradha wiped a happy tear, looking around at her family. Despite everything, through all the ups and downs, they were together—stronger and more united than ever.)
