Food fight
The heroic villainess
This chapter's song is: Fearless by Le Serrafim!
Sylvia's POV:
I sigh as I look at my dinner plate. Luna was beside me, drinking milk. "Are you serious?" I ask Lillian.
"I seldom joke milady, please try this cauliflower and pea mash, it's a healthy alternative to potato," Lilian says.
"Why in God's name would I need a healthier alternative to potatoes?! Stop messing with the cuisine! Potatoes don't need to change!" I argue.
"Your diet needs more vegetables, miss," Lilian says.
"Are potatoes not a vegetable?! They come from the ground, do they not?!"
"I mean you need vegetables with less starch. You have been gaining some weight recently."
"That's not fat! It's muscle! Muscle!"
"A lady does not need muscle."
"Yes she does! Imagine if she gets kidnapped or needs to move a heavy object or just needs to punch someone!"
"Milady will never get kidnapped as she has guards with her always, these guards will also do any heavy lifting for milady and milady also will never have to punch someone since she is a refined young lady," Lilian answers back.
"Whatever! I'm not eating this grotesque excuse for a meal!" I yell adamantly.
"Now now Sylvia, you mustn't insult food like that," Ace says.
"That mash doesn't look very appetising, I don't think I'd like to eat that," Rin says.
"You won't have to because you eat all your vegetables. Miss Sylvia, unfortunately, likes to burn the vegetables on her plate," Aiden says.
"Would you like to eat them for me then?" I retort.
"I actually eat my vegetables, so I don't have to," Aiden smirked.
"Monique..."
"Got it." And with that, Monique exacted my revenge on Aiden by kicking him.
"Ow! Domestic violence!" Aiden yelled.
"You better shut it before violence turns into murder," Monique threatened.
"How can my fiancée and a noble lady act like this?!" Aiden questioned.
"I am Sylvia's friend before I am a noble lady or your fiancée," Monique answered.
"Exactly, Sylvia's friendship is one of the most important relationships I have," Violet says.
"Me too, I love being your friend Sylvia!" Rin said.
"Aww guys, I don't know what I'd do without you..." I gushed. While we were having our little girl moment, we were rudely interrupted by a slice of blueberry pie hitting Aiden's face.
Rin yelped in shock as the pie splattered everywhere but, unsurprisingly, both Allen and Mason had their swords out and managed to block all the flying blueberry bits.
"What in God's name was that?!" Monique cursed as she looked around at the culprit.
"This pie could use some whipped cream," Aiden commented as he licked some blueberry juice that was trickling down his face.
"Please clean yourself up, your dessert is about to spill on my fiancée," Ace said as he gently moved me away from Aiden.
"Yeah whatever," with one flick of his wrist, Aiden's body was covered in letters and the mess disappeared.
"You wanna go little boy?!" We hear a high-pitched voice shout from the direction of the flying pie.
"Ha! Do you honestly think you can beat me you barbarian!? Go back to sewing or something!" A slightly deeper voice said. The voices resonated between a fiery-haired girl and a dark-haired boy. Both of them were neck and neck at each other with their utensils.
"Vivienne!" Mason shouted as he ran up to the two and pulled them apart. "What'd I say about causing a scene?!"
"This wimp started it!" Vivienne said as she pointed at the boy.
"Oh, isn't that the oldest son of the owner of the Algren banks? Beckham... wasn't it?" Violet said as she fanned herself with her silk fan.
"Ah yes, his father and my father are close friends with their line of work," Monique stated.
"Are all women from the Crimson knights like this? How vulgar. Especially if all you are is savage with no actual strength," Beckham sneered.
"You seem to have an enormous mouth. Perhaps if I stuffed it with food, then you'll hopefully choke on something," Vivienne shot back. Beckham hurled insult after insult while Vivienne whirled plate after plate, even going so far as to throw a whole 3-pound salmon at Beckham's head.
The whole lunchroom was in a frenzy with maids protecting their masters from flying food and some trying not to get skewered by the blazing stares of the two rivals. Somehow, Luna was still calmly drinking her milk and didn't even bother to look up.
Food quickly turned into cutlery and plates. One knife aimed straight at Mason but was struck down mid-air. A plate came crashing near Violet who screamed and was led behind a plant by Allen, and a fork almost took out my eyeball before Ace pulled me away.
"Vivienne enough! Look at what you've done with the place! Your father will be hearing about this!" Mason said. His sentence made Vivienne freeze.
"M-my father?! Mason, my dearest cousin, you wouldn't tell him would you?!" Vivienne grabbed Mason by the hands.
"I wouldn't need to; the whole of nobility would spread the news far faster than me. You threw a salad fork at the crown prince's fiancée..." Mason sighed as he placed a hand on his forehead.
"Humph, I am most excited at what your father would do to you," Beckham smirked.
"And you too Beckham, you threw an ice pick at your fiancée which almost stabbed a Count's son," Mason pointed out.
"Hold on a minute... FIANCÃE?!"
Can you guys believe school is less than a week away?! I still haven't got any supplies yet!!!
