First day of school

Sylvia's POV:

It has been a few months since the successful launch of the silver dragon workshop and now I have enrolled in the Royal academy. Life is pretty good since I've avoided the assassination of Rin and terminated the last slavery auction with Ace.

Len has also not changed to his playboy lifestyle which means I've officially terminated four death flags although I may have caused Len to become a sis con. Not to mention, a few months after their birthday, the duke and duchess Kagamine announce they're having another baby.

Rin not dying changed the fate of the family drastically. The family gave birth to another set of twin boy and girl. They looked like mini versions of Rin and Len. When I went over for a tea party and sleepover last year I saw them in BUNNY ONESIES!!! It was the cutest thing ever.

Right now I'm on my way to greenhaven academy where I will spend a year preparing for my debutante and also where I will continue to terminate each of my death flags. There's really no uniform in the academy, all you have to do was dress smart and by the dress code.

I arrived at the academy and took a good look at where I'll be spending the rest of my five years excluding holidays.

"Sylvia, it's been so long!" I was greeted instantly by niki and vio. It hasn't really been that long, I remember us all having a tea party two weeks ago.

Violetta has been experimenting with her magic since the business took off. She has made keys that can attack using different elements and can even forge keys that can connect two places together just like teleportation. The problem is that she has to have visited the place she wants to go at least once so every vacation she gets, she uses it to travel the world.

"Sylvia, check out our new magic weapon, I used silver and Niki enchanted it with wind so it can now be used for attack or defence!" Vio explains, holding out a white and green stick with a magic ball in the middle that glowed green.

Violet and Niki has been creating new weapons every week and send it to me so I can test it, then sell it. We've sold different magical swords, daggers, axes and we are currently working on bows and arrows. I really want to work on scythes next but we're taking it easy. Our company is now a major factor in military and nobody can really believe that three girls are the brains of it all.

"It's not really finished yet but we're well on our way to create the most long lasting magic weapons ever!" Niki added.

Monique was still not engaged to anyone since no one has ever met her expectations. Due to the silver dragon booming in business, she is earning as much money as her father does and she still hasn't gotten to the peak of her succession. There isn't any man who could sweep her off her feet right now, especially since she's way richer and smarter than most boys her age.

"Sylvia, you arrived very late, the first class is almost starting!" Rin exclaimed. Rin has changed a lot these three years, she grew her hair out and even started to grow more feminine every time I see her. Even now, she looks so beautiful.

"Sorry for that, my carriage had ran into a bit of an obstacle. It took a long time to fix it and thus, my late arrival," it was a bit far fetched but was the ultimate truth.

Some bandits tried to attack the carriage. In the Otome game, sylviana was bad at magic so she couldn't protect herself against the bandits who broke her leg. This prevented her from dancing at balls so lily and ace could develop their love more. However, I've been training since I was six so naturally I made those bandits land on their a**.

Careful of your language. Ugh, it's you. You never show up up when I need you. Astro and Luna have been slacking off as always, barely making an appearance.

My my, so rude. How nice of you to talk Astro.

The pleasure is all mine Luna is as arrogant as ever.

Luna and Astro decided to bunk in with twilight in my mind. They rarely make an appearance unless I'm in danger which is almost never. I've visited twilight in the night. Unlike Luna and Astro, she actually helps me!

Oh so mean, you wound me, cut the sarcasm Astro!

Meow whatever, I'm going to take a cat nap, hope you never wake up! I can hear them both snickering as they fade away into the back of my mind.

Anyways, we all made our way to the first class which was only for girls: music. I really don't like the male chauvinism in this Otome game. Unless you're really skilled, girls cannot partake in rigorous activities and they must take embroidery and music as a core subject.

It's like they're making us into trophy wives! I'd rather meet my end than be simply just another weak lady! Besides, I'm practically the CEO of a large business already so I don't see how embroidery is going to help me. Unless I sell it at the shop...

"All right class, gather around," a pencil thin woman with glasses and thin lips clapped for our attention. "My name is madam pomfret and I'll be your music teacher this year, I despise dilly dallying so for your own sakes, I hope you all know how to play the violin at least." I know how to play the violin but I'm not that confident to play in front of others.

"So, does anyone want to demonstrate? Anyone? If you're going to be like this then you are a disgrace for noble ladies!"

"I volunteer," we all look at Monique who grabs a violin case. She opens it and takes out a beautiful crystal violin.

"Ah, Miss Deveraux. How nice of you to volunteer, play us a song, show us the grace of a lady of the deveraux," Monique, you have my respect. She tuned her violin and played a song that made me feel relaxed. Like all the stress was melting away.

At the end of the song, everyone clapped except for madam pomfret who just clicked her tongue. "You see ladies, now that is how you should play. For the next hour, I shall be teaching you the basics of the violin, if you don't keep up then you will have to make it up after class."

The class was kind of laid back since mostly everyone knew the basics of music since they've been having private tutors since young. The lesson ended with silence and I was wondering where the heroine is, she should have been here an hour ago... Meh, not my problem. I'm sure she's flirting with a capture target.

"Ah, our next lesson is magical sciences! That sounds lovely," rin said as we all walked towards the next class.

"Rillaine," we heard a voice say. We looked back and saw Lucas stride towards us. He's definitely got that killer vibe going off and me, Niki and vio all shudder.

"Lucas! Are you in the same class as us?" Rin asks.

"Yes I am," he looks at her neck, "how nice of you to be wearing the necklace I gave you." Rin always wore that emerald necklace. It was her favourite one, even topping the one Len gave her. It gave Lucas a very smug face.

"It's just so beautiful, it's one of my favourite necklaces!" Rin replies while holding the necklace.

"We better be going to class," Niki says.

Lucas just gave her a cold smile and said: "you ladies can go ahead, I have some business with my fiancée." We didn't want to leave rin with that wolf in sheep clothing but she just gave us a smile and says it's fine, what really made us leave was the evil stare Lucas was giving us.

We open the door to magical sciences and I was talking to vio until...

Narrator's POV (also known as rookie):

Sylvia was talking to Violet (another nickname for Violetta) until she wasn't looking where she was going and tripped on someone's pencil. Before she could balance herself, Sylvia closed her eyes and waited to eat floor but she fell into something warm.

"Huh," Sylvia looked up and saw prince Ace holding her.

"My, how clumsy my dear fiancée," he chuckles. Monique and Violet giggle at the embarrassed Sylvia as she quickly stands up.

"Thank you, prince Ace," she quickly says as she straightens herself out. Ace crouched down and picked up the pencil.

"Now... Whose is this?" He says as he examines the pencil. A boy in the front row stood up shaking as he raises his hand.

"I-it's mine your highness, my apologies. I didn't know it was on the floor," he stammers. Ace simply smiles and hands him back his pencil.

"It's no harm done, please do be careful next time." Ace was actually happy he got to save his fiancée so he could see her rare flustered face. It was only for a second but he got a glimpse of the face he so wanted to see.

"How are you Miss Violetta and miss Monique," Mason asks as he stands beside Ace.

"Very good, thank you sir Mason," monique answers.

Sylvia's POV:

"You've gotten a lot taller since the last time I've seen you mason," I say. The guy was shorter than me last year but now he's a forehead taller than me.

"I guess it's due to my diet and training," Mason wasn't the first or second born son so there's no way he could succeed his father so instead, he became Ace's personal guard.

(Mason at 13)

"Where's my sister?" Allen asks, scanning for Rin in the group. This was going to be difficult...

"She- she and sir Lucas had to talk about something, they should be walking here together right now," vVo says. Since she was his fiancée, there's a less likely chance that Len would get mad at her.

"Is that so..." Len have off a fiery aura and was heading towards the exit if it wasn't for Ace to hold him back.

"Now now, you need to let your sister talk to her fiancée."

"I would under normal circumstances but I absolutely do not approve of her being with that barbarian,"

"Aww you wound me," we all turned back to see Rin and Lucas entering. Rin had a new hairpiece in her hair. It was black and silver, with blue sapphires.

"Rin! What's that in your hair?" Len marched up to her and was about to take off the headpiece if Lucas hadn't grabbed his hand.

"And just what do you think you're doing?" He says with a honey smile coated in venom.

"I'm taking out that ugly monstrosity in her hair," Len says as he gritted his teeth.

"Huh, why? I like this headpiece. It matches my eyes, don't you think?" Rin says as she showcases her headpiece.

Frankly, it matches her eyes AND Lucas's hair. It's obvious that it's a marking to show that Rin is taken. I guess Lucas was skeptical of any other boys getting close to her. Rin's doesn't seem to notice though.

"Why are you all blocking the entrance?" Aiden says as he walks towards us. Wow, Aiden hit puberty really fast. Mother of cosplay, I wish he would cosplay.

"Aiden, isn't that girl supposed to be here? Lisa... Was it?" Mason asks.

"It's lily and I don't know. She was supposed to be here, I guess she got lost..." Aiden says.

"Now now, take your seats," a man with unusually dark green hair and glasses came in and put a heavy book on the desk with a thud, "my name is professor Corpix, I will be your teacher for magical sciences for the rest of the year."

Vio and Niki sat next to eachother, mason and Aiden sat next to eachother and me and Ace sat next to eachother. This was only because no one else could sit next to Ace since they might get a heart attack.

A son of a count was about to sit next to Rin but Lucas just put one hand on his shoulder and stared at his eyes or into his soul... The man hopped into the next available seat next to the son of an earl. Of course, Rin didn't see any of that and she happily welcomed Lucas next to her.

Professor Corpix was explaining the new curriculum for the year when a certain someone came blasting through the doors.

"KYAAA! sorry I'm late!" Lily Margaret screams as she wipes some toast crumbs off her mouth and finishes pulling up her sock. Seriously, who makes the noise kyaa? If I was going to scream, it'd be a full glass shattering shriek and not a cute kyaa.

(Lily at 13)

"Ah... If it isn't a tardy student... May I ask what house you are from?" P. Corpix asks with his arms and eyebrows crossed.

"Ah... I'm ... Lily Margaret from... House Margaret?"

"Ah so you're the... Special student. Hurry up and sit down in an empty seat, I have no time for you. Do be on time next lesson," corpix sighs as he returns to his board. Lily mutters a yes sir as she strides towards the desk where me and ace sit. She was looking at me with confusion.

"Ms Margaret, hurry up and find a seat," Corpix calls out.

"Ah yes..." Lily quickly seats next to the daughter of a baron at the back, next to Rin and Lucas's desk. Why was she looking at me? Oh yeah, in the Otome game, I sat next to some marquis' daughter since Ace didn't want to sit next to me.

The heroine sat next to the prince once she ran late for class. This made the noble daughters angry at the nerve to sit next to the prince. However, Ace isn't disgusted with me so this changes the plot.

"As I was saying before I was interrupted..." Everyone steals a glance from lily who looks down, "today we will be talking about magical sciences. As you all know. Everyone here has at least one magical affinity. They are made from or are the six major elements: water, wind, fire, Earth, light and dark. Those who have an affinity of ice is linked with water and those with... Let's say teleportation have a link with wind and earth that lets you bend space and time form two points of your destination. Magical sciences will help you utilise your magical powers and help them grow by understanding what they do for gamaria, please open your textbooks to page 4."

We all get out our magical sciences textbooks out and flipped to page 4 of 'mana of Gamaria' and as soon as corpix started talking, lily interrupted again.

"U-um sir... I don't have my textbook..." She stammers.

"And why not? I'm pretty certain that all students were given their textbooks on opening ceremony."

"I um... Seem to have forgotten it," a few noble kids were sniggering with others including me, wondering how she could have forgotten her books on the first day of school.

Oh wait, this was also a scene in the Otome game. When Lily forgot her book, Ace kindly shares his book with her and eventually tutors her. But since I'm next to Ace, there's no way for her to share with him. It's pretty obvious that her desk mate isn't going to share with her but I don't want to give her my textbook or else I'll have to share it with Ace.

"Here, you can borrow mine," everyone looks at the generous person to find out that it was Ace! he gets up and gives his textbook to lily before returning back to his seat.

"I can just share with my fiancée for the lesson, it's no trouble," that two-faced little %*%#+! He mean to do that!

"T-thank you p-prince Ace!" Lily says. Most of the girls were glaring at Lily who called the prince's name so casually. They were jelly.....

"Thank you for your generosity prince Ace, I'm sure that miss Margaret will remember to use her common sense next uptime and remember to bring her books to her lesson," with that remark the class quietly laughed at lily who was in her own world and holding the textbook like it was pure gold.

"Sylvia, it seems we have to share, don't we?" Ace says as Corpix continues the lesson. That hour was very, VERY, long with me accidentally touching ace's hand or when ace's face got too close to me. Soon the lesson ended, and trouble started...
