I woke up on a soft mattress. Jeez, why was it so bright. "Uwaaaah!" And why is there a baby crying, shut up baby! I'm trying to catch some z's. "Uwaaaaaaaah!" I'm getting annoyed with this baby now. I try and look around and see myself in a crib. Wait... Why am I a baby?!?!

"Shush now, it's ok," I see an old lady come in and gently rock me back and forth, hey! I may be a baby but I'm 18 inside! What the hell has happened...

A few hours later

Ok now that I've had time to figure things out... I organise my thoughts. My name was Rina Mako and I was killed at only 18 by a truck. Ah, the classic truck-San killed me. But seriously... Dude... Why???? I just wanted some chocolate chip mint ice cream! And I heard there were new red velvet cupcakes selling!

But nooooooo, you had to check your stupid phone when driving and run me over. -_-. Although I'm a only a baby, I'm the second child of a duke. I heard that from one of the maids, apparently I have an older brother but I don't know where he is or how much older he is than me.

My past life was shitty as it is, but now I have to go through a new life with no wifi??? This is hell... Oh, also I'm being taken to my parents right now. The old maid who was trying to calm me down earlier was carrying me to a rose garden to where my mother and father are.

My mother was stunning, she had long, dark hair with a string of bow ties in it. She had blood-red eyes that sparkled like rubies and she wore a shimmering black gown that made her look like a princess of darkness.

My father was the polar opposite of my mother. He had silver-white hair and snowy eyes. He wore an equally silver attire to match and was drinking tea with my mother.

"My lord, the young lady is here," the head maid bowed as she handed me over to my mother.

"Oh my sweet silver drop, how are you today?" My mother held me in her arms as she cradled me, it felt nice to be held by someone who loved me.

In my past life, I was an orphan who's only escape was by studying and getting a scholarship to a good school far away from my hellhole. I even learned martial arts to defend myself against bullies.

"Have you decided on her name yet?" My mother asked my father. Both my parents were blindingly beautiful. I hope I inherited their genes...

"I have, it will be announced when she receives her blessing." My father says as he sips his tea. I guess my father isn't a baby person. But... What do you mean by blessing...

Time skip to six months later

I am now nine months old...and from the long time I have spent over hearing the maids, I have come to a conclusion that... I am in a fantasy world! And not just any fantasy world, I am in the Otome game 'doki doki my heart beats for you.'

Not only is the title cringe, but the game itself was very cliche, I wanted to find out how cringe the game was so I finished all the routes and it was all full of crying from the heroine and all that wishy-washy romance stuff.

My older brother is in another country in some sort of special inheritance training. He was sent at the age of FIVE! I don't know what special training this is but I sure am glad to not be part of it.

I guess I would've been okay being reincarnated as the heroine since she lives a pretty sweet life in most of the routes but sadly I'm not. I don't even know who I am in the game since I don't even know my own name. But my blessing is tomorrow so I'll know pretty soon.

Btw, a blessing is something that all babies who are nine months have to do, it's basically like signing a paper for citizenship so you can't be classed as a citizen or a noble without going through a blessing. It is also a ceremony where I will find out what magic I have.

You heard it right. Real life magic. The heroine obviously had the legendary light magic while the capture targets had other types of magic. If I recall... The villainess had dark magic. It was the complete opposite of the heroine so she also made a very good hidden boss. In the end, she was defeated because the heroine had help from the capture targets.

To be honest, I was rooting for the villainess. Apart from her personality, the villainess triumphed the heroine over everything. She had better looks, better wealth and noble standing, was very smart AND she also had legendary magic. The only thing that was her weakness was her undying love for the crown prince who stabbed her to death in the end. Literally.

How stupid was she?! If I was as talented as the villainess, I wouldn't waste myself with love that literally would kill me. I'd rather live a life of luxury and comfort without anyone to annoy me. The heroine's name was Lily Margaret, even her name was as ordinary as she was... SERIOUSLY, WHY DID YOU MAKE THE HEROINE SO PLAIN LOOKING??? IT WAS LIKE THE HEROINE ONLY HAD HER LIGHT MAGIC AND HER CROCODILE TEARS TO CLEAR THE ROUTES!!!

If I wasn't a girl, I'd most definitely try and get with the villainess instead of the heroine. But I can't remember her name.... Ehh, it'll come to me later. I doze off to sleep in a mere matter of seconds. When you're a baby, even breathing is tiring. Or maybe I'm just so lazy...
