"Thank you so much River" I gushed as I put my bag in the back seat and sat in the front.

"It's no problem if you don't mind my asking what happen?" He questioned.

If I tell him he'll hate me.

He'll never want to be friends again.

I can't tell him now. Not yet at least.

"Just an argument." I pushed the topic away.

He hummed in understanding.

I knew he wanted to push the topic but he decided not to.

After a ride in silence, we arrived at his house.

It was just as beautiful as I remembered.

He parked and we both got out of the car. We walked to the front door to see a mess of candy and ice cream all over the kitchen island and the floor.

I smile and look toward River for an explanation.

He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment and chuckled.

"Leo and I were having our guy's night." He smiles again.

"Oh I'm so sorry I ruined it didn't I?!" I exclaimed.

"No!" He yells.

"I mean no, you didn't Leo went to sleep around an hour ago. I just didn't clean the mess yet." He recomposed himself.

"Oh okay, when I can help." I shrugged my shoulder and started putting the bowls and spoons in the sink.

River didn't object he probably knew I would fight him on this.

After about ten minutes of cleaning and scrubbing the kitchen was spotless.

River lead me to the living room couch and told me to have a seat.

"So, what should we do now?" I asked as I turned towards him.

His black hair was perfectly fluffy and shiny, his skin was tan and beautiful, and his eyes were the most gorgeous grey I had ever seen.

"Taliah?" He called me.

"Huh? Sorry, I zoned out." I said sheepishly.

"No worries. I said we could watch a movie." He said.

I nodded and turned towards the tv thinking about what we could watch.

"How about a horror movie?" He asked with a smile.

"Umm, definitely not. I don't like having nightmares." He shook my head.

"How about twilight!" I exclaimed.

"I don't really like fantasy romance-type things." He grimaced.

"Oh come on you'll like it I promise." I smiled as a held out my pinky.

"Really a pinky promise?" River deadpanned.

"Yes, a pinky promise! Did you know Kennedy sealed the moon promise with his very pinky?" I asked.

"No, he didn't Taliah." He smiled.

"Oh yes, he did. He said "A man will go to the moon and come back to earth safely" Then after he said that he linked his pinky with an astronaut." I nodded my head.

"No he didn't. But if this will make you stop making up stuff then I'll do it." He rolled his eyes jokingly and linked his pinky with mine.

"Now repeat after me. "I River Black," I told him.

"Really? Okay fine. I River Black." He said.

"Will solemnly swear to Never ever break a pinky promise," I said.

"Will solemnly swear to Never ever break a pinky promise." He repeated

"When given to Taliah Moretti." I ended with a smile.

"When given to Taliah Moretti." He smiled.

After I did my promise to River we kissed our hands and let go of the promise.

"Now watch. You'll love this movie." I said as I found the first Twilight of the series.

"No, I won't. I guarantee you I'll hate it." He smirked and looked at the tv.

"Now why would they end it like that? Wait that means she's a vampire now right?! Hurry up and turn on the next one." River rushes me as he filled his face with popcorn.

I laughed and put on the next movie in the series.

" I thought you'd hate it," I said in a baby voice mockingly.

River grabbed my chin and pulled me closer to his face he slowly kissed my cheek and then started to laugh as he backed away.

"Not so big and bold now, huh?" He smirked as he ate more popcorn.

I muttered a small whatever and sat back in my spot.

Halfway through the movie, I started to shiver from the cold.

River wordlessly opened the side of his blanket and I scooted closer to him trying to steal his warmth.

He put his arm around my shoulders and rubbed my arm.

I nuzzled my face into his side and immediately started to feel sleepy.

River grabbed the remote and turned off the tv.

He picked me up and walked up the stairs to his room.

"Taliah? Here put these on then you can sleep." He said while handing me a huge hoodie and some sweats.

I nodded and grabbed the clothes from him.

I took my shirt off and put the hoodie on.

It reached just below my knees so I didn't bother with the sweats.

I crawled into the bed next to River and laid on his chest.

"Goodnight my love" was the last thing I heard before I fell asleep.

I wake up to the sound of shuffling.

I roll in the bed and feel a warm indent where Rivers's body was.

I sit up and open my eyes to be blinded by the bright light of the sun.

River walks out not long after I woke up wearing black pants with a belt around the waist of the pants.

And no shirt.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Tattoos were all over his arms with a few on his chest.

"How did I not notice those before!" I exclaimed.

There was one on the right side of his chest with the letters BK. I wonder what that means?

River chuckled and shook his head while putting on a short-sleeved white shirt.

"I always were jackets or long sleeves. I don't show people very often" he shrugged.

"Why not? They look so good on you." I said.

His eyebrows rose and my eyes went wide.

"I mean they look nice- like they suit you-" I stuttered.

"It's okay love. I understand what you mean." He chuckled.

I stood up while blushing furiously and went to my bag to grab my uniform for school.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, you don't have to wear a uniform. The principal and I had a little chat so you can wear your cute little outfits now." River explained as he smiled.

I blushed even more and nodded my head while grabbing my outfit.

I went to the bathroom to change and put on tights a little black skirt that fit tightly around my waist and a black long sleeve that was tucked into my skirt.

I wore black heels that were packed as well.

I walked out to see River with his leather jacket on.

How fitting.

"You look beautiful," River said as his eyes roamed my body.

"You look good too." I blushed.

I asked about Leo and River said he does independent learning.

We ate a yogurt bowl and talked about the most random things.

From school to animals to our favorite foods and movies.

Once we were out the door and on our way to school my nerves kicked in.

River noticed and gave me a small smile while hesitantly putting his hand on my knee.

"Is this okay?" He asked curiously.

"Y-yep it's fine." I stutter and blushed.

Sooner or later we were at school.
