I woke up on a bed the room was nice but the atmosphere wasn't. I could still hear the music thumping from below

I looked down and saw my top half off and my belt unbuckled. I quickly fixed it and jumped off the bed.

I open the door and saw the unthinkable.

River beating some random guy up. He had blond hair and bl- oh my gosh. It's the same guy River punched that one time.

He was trying to flirt with me and called me feisty. How repulsive.

If River didn't stop now he would kill him.

"River" I tried to yell out but came as a whisper.

My throat felt so dry and worn out.

"River" I called out a bit louder.

He stopped mid-punch and turned around and saw me.

He hopped off the guy's body and came and crushed me in a hug.

"He- he took you." River stuttered.

He sounded so scared.

I wrapped my arms around his waist and stuffed my face is he's chest while he put his face in my neck.

"Did he do it?" I whispered in fear.

"I don't know. I didn't look I just grabbed him and lashed out" River's voice explained.

"Oh my gosh," I trembled.

What if he... I can't fathom that happening.

"Please help me find my brothers," I asked him and he took his face from my neck.

"Let's go." He responded.

Before we went down the stairs I looked at the blondie's body and grimaced.

"Is he dead?" I gulped.

River muttered what sounded like "not yet" but I could be wrong.

We went downstairs and saw all my brothers ripping through people. They all looked murderous even Asher he was the quiet one.

Matteo and I locked eyes and he immediately ran to me and picked me up in a hug.

"My Sorellina." He breathed in relief.

All my other brothers ran to us and hugged me to death.

We walked out to the car and that's when the questions started.

"What happen?! Where did you go?! We told you to stay with us and did you listen?! No! What if something happened to you huh? What if-" Ace screamed

"Someone drugged me." I blurted cutting Ace's rant short.

All my brothers stared at me wide-eyed.

"Someone put something in my drink and took me upstairs. I- I woke up in a room and I don't know what the guy did to me. I don't know if he took advantage of me" I sobbed.

Tears continually fell from my eyes. I couldn't stop. I felt like I was trapped in my own body.

Like I had no control over myself.

I felt my nails dig into my skin starting to draw blood I wanted to claw my way through but I couldn't. I clamped my eyes shut.

I wanted to escape. Why is nobody here? Why am I alone? Can someone help me, please?!

"Breath baby" a husky voice whispered to me.

"I'm right here. We're here for you Taliah." The voice continued.

I think it was River. He's trying to help me.

"Tell me three things you can see." He said.

I slowly opens my eyes and saw all my brothers shocked faces

"I see my brothers." I croaked.

"Good two more sweetheart." River urged.

I felt my nails being released from my arms. I think I loosened them.

"I see the grass," I answered.

I felt the tears on my cheeks start to dry.

"One more Love," River explained.

I turned my head in his direction and saw his heart-stopping grey eyes.

"You" I whispered.

River wrapped his arms around me and whispered sweet words into my ear.

I don't remember much from that night after the panic attack. My brothers urged me into the cars and talked with River for a few seconds then we left while River went back inside.

I fell asleep after that.

The next day I woke up in my bed with the same clothes as last night.

I immediately locked my room door and stripped myself from my clothes.

I quickly got in the shower and washed my body. I scrubbed my skin till it turned red.

I felt dirty. That guy put his filthy hands on me.

I got out and put on sweats and a t-shirt.

I walked out of my room and went downstairs.

I saw everyone at the table, they all looked on edge.

"Hey, guys," I whispered.

"We will not be pretending like what went on last night didn't happen. June is already waiting for you in the Infirmary. Go now please." Roman ordered.

I nodded and walked to the other part of the house where the doctor's part was.

I saw June already waiting for me she gave me a sad smile and held my hand.

"It will be okay Taliah. We can be quick there's no need to be afraid. Okay?" She reassured me.

I smiled back and nodded.

"I have Taliahs results," June stated.

I and my brothers were now in the living room waiting for my results.

I'm terrified. They'll probably send me away once they see I'm weak.

"What are they?" Roman asked impatiently.

"The results came back negative," June said.

She smiles threw a smile in our direction and she left right after.

"Thank goodness." I sighed in relief.

"That boy is still going to face consequences. What if the results were positive? What if he had scarred you because of this?" Roman ranted.

"Yes I agree he should be punished but please don't stress about this. It's over and I want to forget it. I've been on edge all day." I told them.

My brothers all hugged and kissed me thankful nothing too serious happened.

The next day I was on a mission to tell River the news.

Is it too much information for me to tell a guy that I wasn't used to? Or is it okay?

I don't know, but I'm still telling him.

We're friends.

At lunch, I told Harlow I had something to show my teacher. I know lame lie but I had business to handle.

I saw River in the school garden sitting at one of the many vacant tables.

"Hi!" I beamed.

"Hi." He responded smokily.

"What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

My brows furred as I looked at his hard face.

"Nothing." He responded

"Your lying. Something is wrong. You can tell me, we're friends remember?" I explained.

"Fine. I'm upset because of what that boy did to you. What if he would have gone far? What if I wasn't there to help?" He responded sounding distressed.

I walked closer to him and sat right next to him.

I grabbed his hand and interlaced our fingers while squeezing his hand in a comforting manner.

"Hey, it's okay I did the whole test and it can back negative. He didn't do anything." I explained.

He let out a breath of relief and squeezed my hand back.

"Now that that's done let's do something!" I exclaimed.

"Taliah." He called out.

I ignored him and kept talking. I knew what was coming.

"We can go get ice cream! But we have to sneak because my brother doesn't like me being around other guys." I continued.

"Taliah." He called again.

"Or we can go to that little cafe down the street!" I beamed

"Taliah!" River yelled.

"What?" I hissed. There were tears already in my eyes. I tried to blink them back but they fell down my cheeks.

"It's okay." He whispered as he hugged me.

He rubbed my back as I cried into his shoulder.

"It's not fair! Why did it have to be me?! He almost-" I sobbed.

River continued whispering in my ear that it was okay and that I wasn't alone.

But there was one line that really hit me hard.

I may not understand but I know it means everything.
