[12] First Day of School

Elias POV

Today is the day before school starts, the dukes and I are going to get our uniforms fitted, afterwards, we head to the student council office to get our ranks changed and have our uniforms slightly altered in color to signify we are student council.

I'm not too scared for tomorrow other than the fact I have to have a speech at the opening ceremony, I wonder if any of the students will say I'm not manly enough or something. I like my body a lot after reincarnating but I care about my perception of myself from others so this is naturally my biggest worry. Public speaking was never an issue for me because on Earth I gave many press conferences for my new releases into society. Not many people liked me in person but enjoyed what I sold on the market frequently.

Back to the activities at hand, we are all walking towards the tailor in the school, the way this school is created is that it has a mini capital inside the school for children to purchase things from. It's extremely hard for merchant products to get in without at least 3 different screening trials to ensure top products for us. Luckily, Braunweiler got in because our products are part of an untouched market meaning no one can compete. The tailor is one of the top 10 clothing designers/enthusiasts in the Empire, I wonder why they desired to work on children. I'll never know but the tailor does seem a little interesting,

Dukes POV

Elias woke us all up an hour ago so we could head out today. He made us breakfast and when Elias woke us up, I thought I was in heaven and God was calling me. He is truly a celestial being, Elias disregarded his sin and made his horns longer so he could get up early and use fresh-picked food from the greenhouse for us.

'The last 7 years have been torture without you Elias uwahhhh!!'

'Can I just confess to you now? Waking up to you by my bedside isn't good for my heart!'

'I just want to cuddle you now, why do you have to be so awake for my sake! I just want a nice hug!'

All 6 guys were startled, to say the least, this morning when a gentle voice cooed,

"Its morning~

get up!"

While Elias entered the room, he opened the curtains to let sunlight in. After he focused on the unconscious matter in the middle of the bed. No one in the house had even heard of such a small thing as the twin-sized bed, all used something larger than a king so Elias would hitch a knee up onto the bed and lean to the middle to rock them awake.

When they looked over they saw a fair-skinned maiden leaning towards them saying to wake up. The angle made it so they could see Elias' fair collarbones paired with the rosy tint on his cheeks due to harvesting in the greenhouse.

'This is too enticing... is living with Elias really a smart decision?

So the morning truly started with 6 fully grown men blushing and pitching a tent. In less than 24 hours, the inevitable happened. All of them thanked Fate for not letting Elias notice.

Elias wore his cloak today since it technically wasn't school yet so he wouldn't break his resolution. Only Elias and Adonis wore cloaks though because magic doesn't work on beast traits, meaning cloth is the next best thing when illusion magic can't.

The guys were all dazed due to this morning's event but all of them snapped back into their usual thinking when they realized something. "What gender and who is the tailor,   WHOMEVER IT IS SEEING OUR ELIAS NAKED???'

In fact, Elias wasn't going to be naked in front of the tailor but he would only wear his undermost garments. But the issue was the guys hadn't even seen this much skin from Elias because hanfu naturally covered his entire body, for the tailor to see Elias more naked than they ever had was like a slap in the face.

AN/: It's like literally their job idiots, and you guys would say no to a man and a woman like who do you want? A non-binary would want to but I know you would refuse them too ヽ( ￣д￣)ノ

None of you are being sneaky, Author knows you too well hehe, you guys just want to do the tailor jobs yourselves you sneaky b*stards. To have a legitimate reason to touch Elias' skin is your goal. GO AWAY, STINKY PERVERTS!!!!

The tailor ended up being an old woman who really wanted grandchildren of her own. She fell in love with Elias but it was acceptable to the guys. After giving Elias many baked treats, Mrs. Fornia or Granny F. asked Elias to come back again. Elias promised he would and they head off to the student council offices.

The student council offices were big because the teachers at this school are not asked discipline students. Teachers are there to teach so the student body must rule over themselves. At the top of the ruling order, sat the year president and their entourage of secretaries, treasurers, and vice president. All three-year presidents adhere to one student body president, the most powerful student at the school usually. The new student body president, no other than the reincarnator himself, Elias T. Belphegor.

The dukes went as well to the offices. Other than Elias they are the next up for most powerful students so of course, they were asked to join the council in a position other than the president of the body. Each got their role, none of them really cared what they did or what section since they got to spend time with Elias when in the office and keep a watch for the others.

All were satisfied with their roles and were able to tailor their outfits. Elias made all of the dinners and throughout the night, they all fell asleep in the living room.

The description of that night: Seven  15 year-olds all sleeping on a couch next to each other, Elias sits in the middle with 3 on either side of him, Atlas and Orpheus who sit directly next to him, lean into him into his shoulder and lap. Damien and Kyrian sit next to Orpheus and Atlas with their heads laying back on the couch. Adonis and Xerxes lay their heads on the armrests of the couch. Warm light fills the room.

Around 6:00AM the next morning Kyrian stirs from his sleep with his neck aching. Wincing in pain he looks around and notices how he didn't sleep in his room and instead on the couch with everybody. With a hazy mind, he gets up, waking Damien on the other side of the couch and Adonis next to him. The two look bewildered for a second before the location and what happened last night sinking in. The three wake up the others except for Elias and ask if they all fell asleep at the same time or something. Everybody had a hazy mind but just remembered sleeping in the dark around 11.

Since they had the time, all eyes turned to Elias. No matter where he slept he would always have a peaceful and dreamy look on his face. Exuding a calm and peaceful aura, he naturally made everybody around him desire to sleep as well. His sin is easy to discern as everybody else had emotionally affecting sins while Elias was a little less emotional and more physically affecting.

Wanting to take care of their bunny, the six decide to let him sleep and they make breakfast. Effectively, Xerxes took this chance to princess-carry him up to his room. As a naturally skinny person, Elias was lighter and smaller than the average male. Xerxes thought this size of a person would be a child if he hadn't grown up with Elias. Elias was also 5'8/176.784cm which does take the idea of a child out of their mind easily.  Xerxes doesn't take Elias to his own room but to his room. Xerxes liked it if Elias liked his bed, so he placed Elias down and gently dropped his down comforter over Elias. Elias shows a little smile and hums subconsciously when he gets warmed up. Xerxes sits next to the bed readily dressed and plays with Elias's hair. So sleek and shiny Xerxes couldn't help but wonder,

'If he were to do himself up for a ball or formal event would he look even prettier?'

The poor guy started to get giddy for a ball that was in the unforeseeable future. Maybe later he thinks, ...hopefully.

With his head in the clouds, Xerxes hits Elias's horns with the back of his hand. Elias's eyes shoot open and went "wh-wh-WHAT" Elias starts to touch his own horns and upon realizing it's only Xerxes, a sigh escapes his mouth.

Xerxes did remember what Adonis said years ago since it had come to Elias so upon realizing his mistake he apologized profusely and felt bad. Of course, a little smirk on the inside made him not completely sorry.

'Elias sure looks cute when he's frazzled~"

"AH XERXES, WHY DIDN" T YOU TELL ME THE TIME!" Elias says jumping out of bed. Xerxes doesn't understand the issue until he gets a good look at the alarm clock on the wall of his room, there it said 7:30.

"SEVEN-THIRTY???"

Both jump up and head to their closets in their respective rooms. Later on, the two jump downstairs fully clothed in uniform. Taking a good look at the dukes, Elias asks while puffing from the exercise,

"Are we all supposed to wear gakuran today?" (Those are the black, high collared, button uniforms for Japanese males.)

*all the options other than gakuran

"Nope, we just like the gakuran and blazers better."

"Ohhh," Elias said in understanding, growing up in this life wearing loose hanfu, Elias personally preferred the cardigan, it was lighter and more comfortable to him.

'Well everyone has their own preferences' Elias thought, dropping the topic.

On the other hand, the duke's interior thoughts were more...     sinister.

'Uwah, little bunny looks so cute in his uniform, just what will I do with this little treat~'

"Guys we've got to go unless we want to be late, and even while representing the council. To make it on time, let's use my teleport gate, everyone gets in!" Elias created the gate and started pushing the giants through the gate. None actually would've been forced to move with the lack of pressure on their back but they moved anyway to where the delicate hand pushed.

All seven acted more mischievous and happy at home but under the watchful eye of the capital, they kept up respectful and proper facades. In short, they keep etiquette.

Going to the back of the stage for the opening ceremony, many are surprised but upon seeing who made the gate, the wonder for who had teleportation magic disappeared. If you were a duke and had magic it was entirely plausible to have long-lost magic. Not a single commoner and peasant HADN'T heard of the prophecy of the Duke heirs. So their worship and reverence towards this generation were naturally higher, not as a religion but as alike since the upcoming dukes took care of their subjects well. When the workers saw the 7, all were rushed into different corners to explain what they needed to do this ceremony, from what was told this ceremony was to encourage students to do a good job this year as well as introduce the student councils as people who are the perfect role models and were accepted by the higher-ups in the school.

Elias, in particular, was going to be busy with a lot of paperwork, however, it was in equal terms to the work he received at the estate so it wasn't new. To the student body, he wasn't meant to be an elusive worker and instead someone students can come to for advice and insight into education-related issues. Almost like a gentle guidance counselor on top of their pile of work. Elias didn't mind at least, he liked helping people, and from what he learned 7 years ago, being an educator is a pretty fulfilling job!

The teachers give the encouraging speech after it is Elias' turn to go on stage and introduce himself, putting on his cold and calm facade instead of his warm and happy he gets up to stage. The whispers that originally plagued the audience all stopped. Many stopped breathing and you could hear a pin drop. All their thoughts were generally the same.

'The most powerful person in school, rumored to have the most elements ever, Elias T. Belphegor is this PRETTY? Our respected president is HIM??? OMG, HE'S SO AMAZING AND COOL!! STRONG AND GRACEFUL, WE SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT ALL THE WAY!"

Elias gets ready to speak and suddenly in unison, all the chairs scoot closer. None want to miss the opportunity to look at their leader and listen well.

'President is so inspiring.'

AN/: yall he hasn't even started speaking yet, wtf inspiring are WE looking at because umm???????? ヽ(ー_ー )ノ

Elias opens his mouth and says,

"Hello, Students of Ivory Guard Academy,

I am your new president of the entire student body, duke heir of the Belphegor Duchy, House of Sloth, Elias T. Belphegor. I promise to dedicate my days to properly watching over the issues and resolving anything put in my path. I am in no way annoyed if any of you come to see me if an issue arises. As a student of the esteemed Ivoryguard Academy, we are all of the same caliber and study together as one.

May we persevere and make it through the years.

I hope to see you around school and in the student council office," Elias ends the speech with a bow and some of his hair drifts down with him and he fixes it.

The audience was flabbergasted. Their president was understanding, gentle, AND dedicated to his work. Truly worthy of the position, TRULY WORTHY!

The other 6 dukes were a little pissed but they all knew it was inevitable due to Elias' beauty. No wonder the family kept him locked up for 15 years, it's like trying to ask an international idol to 'tone it down, impossible. But when thinking about how all the students desired to look at Elias and how the haughty nobles are going to send marriage proposals made the 6 teens break whatever they were holding at the moment. With scary smiles all over their face, their minds were busy imagining burning down the entire capital to a crisp.

'Don't even try stupid nobles, no ones on our level, you trash better not even get close to our treasure.'

Elias came onto stage one more time during the ceremony when all of the student council together came up to show students the entire group. Students were all prepared and took out their camera for the new first-year dukes. While the student body had agreed the other 6 were incredibly handsome, Elias was definitely focused on. The President Club already had over 100 members in the first 30 minutes created, no posters made, just the fact everyone had seen a child of god walk onto the stage during the ceremony. Many girls liked the other dukes but to the entire school,

"President comes first, KYAAAAAA (シ_ _)シ"

The ceremony ended just as quickly as it started and many students grouped together to get a better look at their president.

Elias on the other hand was behind the stage with the rest of the dukes, this stupid boy can't read people when it comes to their feelings about him.

"Do you guys think I did alright? I don't know if everyone liked the speech, do you think the last president had a long speech? My speech was very general because I don't really know too much about the academy. Ohh did I already fail my job uwahhhhh"

At this moment the feeling sunk in about how EQ-dense their love and roommate was, nobody could be this oblivious when students outside are grouping together to try and catch a glimpse of your silhouette.

Giving Elias a head pat, Adonis said, "Don't worry you did great and looked professional" Elias liked the head pat and smiled,

Leaving the ceremony area, the time was nearing 1PM so the entire group walked to the food court. The gardens were aesthetically pleasing and nice to walk through, however, around 250 students were walking behind or hiding behind trees watching the group. Many things like

"KYAAA SO BEAUTIFUL" came out but Elias was drifting off in thought, completely peaceful, walking at a slow-ish pace.

Suddenly a girl who was more disrespectful than others had the nerve to disrupt the aura of the 7 walking and talk to their president. The students nearby bite their handkerchiefs by the corner and pull. Resolving to hate that unknown girl. Who had the nerve to try and seduce their president, plus disrupt his train of thought??

She yelled, "Elias, please! You need to forgive me!"

Elias looked back and his eyes darkened. He took the girl and the guys followed to a more secluded place where students could only watch from afar. A sound barrier was placed and Elias looked incredibly cold, for real instead of a facade. The guys were inordinately alert too, the emotion fluctuation from the mana cuff had shot up and it was anger and disgust. Any reason for Elias to dislike someone was a bad sign. Another bad sign, the girl upon closer inspection was Lily Rothschild, a girl who was the great-grandchild of the king. She wasn't royalized by the king since he's been in the shadows so technically she isn't a princess or royalty but her family holds power so she can flaunt that. Why she wanted to talk to Elias was what they didn't know but from the emotion of Elias, they can read what the situation would play out like.

AN: The Belphegors are secretive and like Elias, Atticus is unknown to the public and Lily isn't Elias' fiancee or anything so nothing has been publicized about the two of them.

"Elias! It wasn't my fault it was all that guy's fault! I refuse to say his name because he is so disgusting. Elias, he set me up and wanted to see me fail with you because he likes me so much he wanted to ruin our relationship! He doesn't want us to be fiances!"

Upon the word fiance, the temperature of the little room in the barrier dropped 15 degrees. The 6 men behind Elias had somehow colder eyes than before and now were devils from hell.  (✦_✦)

While the mood worsened for the men behind Elias they didn't forget to check the mana from the cuff link. His mood worsened when she talked about the "unnamed guy" which brought the degree down more. Who is Elias worrying about that isn't them and male??? His mood didn't fluctuate when she said fiances which made them realize it was true. They all listened for the response, the information being fed to them was so all random and important but they could piece it together or figure out what the situation was.

"Mrs. Rothschild, I asked you not to make a scene last time you came to the manor, I implore you to not make a scene here as well." Elias dips his head down to bow.

Lily stomps her foot and screams, "You aren't listening! I am the victim and you take that stupid mutts fault, I'm your wife and you aren't doing what I say. Why isn't my charm working you stupid dope!"

The words 'wife' wasn't the right words when 6 different monsters were all behind Elias. Veins pulsing the situation was becoming worse. Elias who definitely had a temper too, was mad.

"He is not a mutt. I hope you don't forget I was watching the incident. You also tried to throw a vase at a Belphegor and frame one. You would be in jail rotting right now if I hadn't intervened so keep your mouth shut about Belphegor matters. He didn't insinuate anything.

We were possible marriage partners, Mrs. Rothschild, don't get ahead of yourself, you hurt people dear to me."

Lily was red with anger and didn't notice any of the angry people in front of her. Yelling, "You'll come crawling back you stupid bastard. I'll reunite the other duke heirs to completely pulverize you, idiot!"

"And Miss, who do you think we are?" Adonis says with the fury of a thousand souls in his eyes.

"Why would you think I even care about your stupid identities, you guys are peasants who are Elias' underlings. Wow, I can't believe your master wants you to fight for him. How weak."

"Wrong guess, missy. The name is Orpheus,

Orpheus Beelzebub"

Then each guy voiced their last name, powerful last names indeed.

"Heir to Mammon"

"Asmodeus"

"Leviathan"

"Lucifer"

"Satan"

These words made Lily go into a cold sweat. She knew it was too late. They were there the entire time so she couldn't pin it was Elias.

UGH, WHY DID IT HAPPEN LIKE THIS.

Lily's entire plan was to find the capture targets and seduce them. Even after messing up Elias' Belphegor's route she was labeled as associated with Belphegors and couldn't meet with the other dukes. Going to the stupid academy just to find them. They ended up being friends with Elias and being here when she got angry. WHY DIDN" T THINGS GO THE WAY SHE PLANNED.

To top things off, she called them peasants and underlings of Belphegor. This was too much.

In a huff, Lily left to give them time and seduce them another time.

The six were extremely confused and pissed but at least they knew they got the item of Elias' anger out of Elias' sight. Using their imploring eyes, Elias dropped the idea of lunch at the food court and teleported back home so they could eat and talk at the dining table.

Elias told them about how the Rothschilds pushed for marriage when Elias was around 13.5 years old and how when she first came she would be nice to Elias but incredibly rude to the maids.

Elias told them he couldn't tell them Atticus's identity because it's a secret but that they could meet in 3 weeks, when Atticus came for brother day he could introduce the two parties and it would be super fun to Elias.

However, everyone at the table thought otherwise. They were all thinking of this unknown person as a love rival so they were looking into new haircuts in their head and if they should maybe train their strength more. Either way, whoever this person was they were going down.

Elias said how she threw a vase and Atticus/ unknown but Elias used his magic and got in the way. By what Elias just said and what Elias said, the 6 perceived, 'hitting a Belphegor' as throwing the vase at Elias instead of Atticus. When Elias was involved things like that were unacceptable. The rest they filled in themselves, like how Lily tried to frame the unknown person. The final idea, "Lily Rothschild, may not be close to Elias."

*That last paragraph made no sense but basically the guys think she threw a vase at Elias instead of Atticus

Luckily to Lily's anger, she wasn't in S-class. With only light magic, students to get into Class A and S were required to have at least 2 magic affinities with proficient use of both. Lily was stuck in Class C, she had a large meltdown due to that but the Rothschild Family couldn't intervene because Ivory Guard was an independent school, and anyone who used their status to get something could risk expulsion.

Elias was effectively pissed off but his anger made everyone else's anger lessen to a certain degree. His cuteness and the fact he doesn't like his marriage candidate too meant he could like men! Of course, Elias didn't know that liking men was such a big deal, never knowing too much about romance he was just given the answer from Achlys.

In other dorms

Everyone was talking about stupid, Lily Rothschild. Everyone hated her and didn't give anything to her for free. Even the ability to walk into the cafeteria was barred for a while! Lily was pissed but couldn't direct it at anybody since no one told her why, she was a Rothschild! With her looks they should worship the group she walks on.

The president quickly became the school's idol and Lily was known as an enemy and very rude despite her noble status. Even commoners who were powerful and made it in didn't associate. All lily had were her underlings that made it into the academy with her to do her housework for her.

*Lily didn't specifically bring servants put paid high magic commoners to go to the academy and clean all of her things
