[9] 6 Days of Training and Fun

I didn't want to just make them all go home when there is 6 days left of "magic sealing' days to do so the kiddos will be having a vacation for a week :)

CHAPTER 9

*The 8-year-olds all arrived on a Sunday

Monday: Orpheus POV

The guys and I all worked out that we would all get a day to spend with Elias, I got to go first after winning rock-paper-scissors. Upon this, the guys leave the room and it's just Elias and me. When sleeping like this, he looked like real-life sleeping beauty, waiting to be kissed.

'WAIT, what am I thinking!' *cue blush from an 8-year-old boy

I stare at his unconscious state for a while longer taking in his grace before tenderly taking Elias' hand to wake him up.

In a soft and tenderly voice that even shocked me at how kind it sounds I said,

"Hey Elias wake up, wake up, it's a new day!"

I knew he did expend a lot of mana yesterday so I was wondering if he could arise, but he did! Popping out his horns a little he woke up nicely.

Shining one of his lovely close eyed smiles, Elias asked,

"Good morning, what are we doing today?"

'Ahhhh, so cuteeee" I absentmindedly thought as I reached to pinch his cheeks,

'Uwah, sooo soft'

"Haha, okay I'm up, I'm up let gooo of my cheeks" came from a muffled voice as he started to get up.

Reluctantly I take my hand away and said,

"Do you want to explore the forest behind the church? If we find clearing we can sit there and practice magic?"

"Sure! I'm good at helping others to fuse their two magic affinities to create powerful spells so I'll help with control and that!" Elias said getting ready,

We met at the edge of the forest since we both needed to get ready, after a 45-minute walk in, we found a wonderful clearing to practice. Elias tells me my affinities, Space, Lightning, and Darkness.

"Orpheus, you are very strong! You have a rumored element as one of your magic!"

It felt very nice to be praised by Elias and the sentence that he said really inspired me to be stronger. Elias had told us yesterday that he had Creation magic and that he could use all of the magic, we were all surprised but more or less surprised in Elias. It made us feel better when he said he wasn't a god or anything and used his main affinities since, just because he could use the element did not mean there wasn't backlash since it wasn't an element that liked his body.

Elias helped me with my control and we even created a fusion attack from my lightning and darkness. I could send channels of darkness to people with lightning laced through the entire thing to kill magical beasts and beastmen.

Around 4PM my mana was starting to decrease so we decided to call it a day. I was huffing and puffing on the ground, normally I was embarrassed but the fact that my cool magic was the reason behind this made me feel like it wasn't embarrassing to show this side in front of Elias.

"Ah, you're sweating a lot with some bruises, come over Orpheus!"

I looked to see Elias calling me from underneath a tree, of course, I wanted to be near him but I said, "I smell."

"Ahh it's fine you doofus, come closer!"

I come over slowly not wanting to go against his wishes, to my surprise Elias gets up with a cold towel and a handkerchief. He dabs my forehead with the handkerchief after putting the cold towel over my neck.

"Sweating is good for you, why would I be disgusted, you need to sweat the body's toxins out somehow? Besides, a cold towel always feels nice after a long day." Elias says with a small smile.

'AH Elias is, so close' Elias was drying his forehead with a handkerchief thus, the two faces almost touching.

I could see Elias' face in full glory. His skin seemed to almost glow and he had a tiny eye mole that I wanted to lick. When he came so close I could easily smell him, like flowers and milk candy. His body was naturally cool since one of his main elements is ice. However, something about him always made my heart nice and warm. I have a very good feeling that I want forever.

"Alrighty, let's sit down and I promise, you don't have any sort of stink on you. You have a smell of Jasmine which is very nice as well." Hearing that Elias smelled me, my face turned a little red and I felt a little hot. Even though I could smell him, I wouldn't say it in the open.

For the rest of the day, we ate snacks and talked about our main shared hobby of amassing knowledge, until sunset. Then Elias said, "would you like to sleep?"

I wasn't particularly sleepy but said yes anyway because I was curious as to why.

3rd person POV-

"I really like your hair, could I play with it?" Elias said a little embarrassed, in his past life he always wanted long hair but could never grow it out because his cruel family members would always pull on his hair in a bout of anger. His hair now was a little shorter than what he desired but he'll get there!  His fanboyish tendencies came out over beautiful hair though! Everyone in his friend group had such wonderful hair as well. Sleek and shiny, so captivating.

"Sure I wouldn't mind" I didn't really mind my hair so if Elias liked it he could play with it.

"Alrighty, come closer then!" Elias said.

What he did next took Orpheus by surprise definitely! Elias took Orpheus' shoulders and placed his head in his lap! Orpheus blushed a little but faced his head towards Elias. Elias on the other hand ran his fingers through Orpheus' hair.

"Uwah, Orpheus your hair really is magical, it's so nice."

Orpheus of course thought, "my hair is nice?? I'm literally in a deity's lap at the moment! Don't call my hair pretty without calling yourself godly! "

For thirty minutes, Elias and Orpheus made short conversation about the future, and the two focused on something else other than conversation. Elias lovingly played with Orpheus' hair while Orpheus stared at the beauty, Elias had a little smile as he ran his fingers through the hair. Orpheus admitted to himself that he really did like his hair being run through by Elias,

'Ahh, it feels so nice. When Elias runs his fingers, he massages my head a little and it really does want to put me to sleep, however my desire to never forget a single moment of this override that! (~￣³￣)~"

Orpheus really enjoyed the attention and anyone could say that this was the first time anyone gave so much loving attention to Orpheus. No parents except for the Belphegor's actually cared about their children. Most only desired for powerful children who would boost the duchy.

'This might be the first time Elias does this for me, but I will make sure it isn't the last. Elias just wait, one day you'll be ours."

Tuesday: Adonis

By Tuesday the boys had all agreed they should separate some time to learn their magic with Elias since Elias was already so advanced, no way would they let their love get so ahead,

Adonis asked when meeting Elias for lunch,

"Would you like to work on mana control? Afterward, I have something planned for us to do after 6PM?"

"I would love to, let's get ready and I'll meet you at the foot of the forest!"

The foot of the Forest:

"Let us go!"

When inside, Elias and Adonis meditated against a large tree together, basking in the sunlight. Adonis came to consciousness before Elias did, taking in the peace and quiet of the area he turned to Elias. With the young boy sleeping against the tree he looked so unperturbed. Like snow-white under her curse, inanimate but there for many to come to see. Adonis couldn't help but come closer and try to touch the young boys' horns. Covered in flowers and made of soft bone material, Adonis thought they looked soft despite those horns being one of the hardest substances in the Empire at the moment.

After a starting light brush of Elias's horn, Elias' eyes shoot open. Upon seeing Adonis above him about to touch his horns,

"W-wh- what are you doing!?" Elias says getting a little red and jumping up from his sitting position

Adonis astonished, "Ah I'm sorry for not asking, I was about to touch your horns, they are truly quite pretty."

"Ah-ah-um no issue, I'm not angry b-but my horns are really quite sensitive..."

"Ah I apologize, it wasn't my intention," Adonis said, looking a little down.

"Oh! It's fine you didn't need to get so down, you can touch them but be really gentle, and please don't push on them." Elias said waving his arms in front of his face, Elias was really not good with sad people.

Adonis felt a little better and said "Alright"

Watching Elias ready himself to get his horns touched, he sat down with his legs underneath him with his eyes closed. Adonis watched and got a little embarrassed himself but watched Elias for a second and then advanced forward.

The minute he felt the horn it was like marble however he couldn't enjoy it too much. He took note that the horned individual looked like a bomb went off in his head. Steam was practically coming out of his ears. His face was red and his eyes a little wet after around a minute of petting. Enjoying the expression Adonis thought,

"How cute, like a little bunny"

After Adonis stopped Elias jumped up and keeled a little petting his own horns.

"Ahhh that feels so weird when someone else touches!"

Adonis documented this entire experience,

'For being such a smart and talented person, he has such interesting expressions, he's not too brave despite his power.'

As a compromise to the 'bully' Adonis was, Adonis let Elias pet his wings, from there they had a heartfelt conversation. Adonis didn't have as much sensitivity in his wings since they are like second arms for him.

As Elias pet them they felt quite nice to Adonis though,

"Say how do you feel about your wings?"

Adonis was quite honest as said, "Functionally, they are great but other than when I need them they are annoying."

'Can I acquire why?" Elias said while ruffling the feathers and taking note of the twitches in his wings when touching some specific spots.

"Sure, you have a beast appendage as well so I don't think it's too bad.

I feel like they stand out. Large Black Feathered wings make me look like a demon. How do you feel about yours?"

"When I was younger I really didn't like my horns but I think I grew into loving them. They get in the way a lot but I feel like I wouldn't be a Belphegor without them, besides it's a good symbol of my identity. I don't feel like they are too negative since they get rid of my sloth personality. Without these horns, I would sleep 18-20 hours a day making my life short as I spend 80% of it all sleeping. I don't like the idea of missing out on everything.

At least yours have a functionality besides getting rid of your sin? You can fly which is super cool, once I figure out how to fly with my magic I'll fly all through the sky with you."

Upon saying those words, Adonis' wings ruffle themselves again and Adonis speaks when they are done moving.

"Thank you, with you I feel better, none of the other guys had any physical traits since their beasts didn't have any. Maybe one day we will fly, don't forget your words."

Around 6, the two make their way back until Adonis says,

"We aren't going back just yet,"

Making dresses for the two of them, Elias and Adonis head to a ball, and dance without a care in the world in an empty room adjacent to the ballroom. No illusions to hide their horns or wings, just let out.

Wednesday: Atlas

Somehow, both Elias and Atlas wake up early at 6AM on Wednesday, upon meeting each other in the hallway leaving their room, Atlas asks,

"Would you like to go out with me today? I don't have a plan so we can do what you would like?"

"If you want I can appraise your affinities and we can work on our magic for a little before having fun?"

"Sure, I'd like that!"

After seeing Atlas' affinity, Elias realizes they can have some fun...

Elias opens up his teleportation and says,

"Take my hand, I've got a place for us!"

Atlas, with a little blush, takes Elias' hand with a mumbled, "okay"

It was black for a second but then both opened their eyes to a wonderful lake. Elias and Atlas were equally amazed, as children of Dukes all of them had never heard of visiting new locations for enjoyment. Elias started talking first to explain what he wanted to do. Both of them had water magic so with elementary control of their element they could actually breathe underwater. Using light magic can keep a body warm and dry while working as a light on their body so they can see each other underwater. Elias created a new submagic so that they could speak in their minds together. It took around 10 minutes before they were able to start swimming.

Underwater the two worked on magic control and explored the reefs. From Atlas' determination, the two held hands throughout the entire experience. Atlas led Elias all through the water, his family was always surrounded by water but this time he felt like he truly loved the water, when swimming together, with a 'friend'.

Getting out, Atlas had already great control of his magic, he was a prodigy after all. Better than all of his peers, of course excluding his friends and the boy in front of him. Speaking of, Elias was getting some tea out when he had a great idea from his observations,

"Atlas you like plants and nature yes?"

"Yep, I am interested in botany," Atlas said nodding

"AH, I have an idea of what we can do, I'll introduce you to some plants that aren't in your region!"

Getting into the teleportation gate again, they are taken to a green forest, it's here where Elias takes the lead and takes Atlas' hand, and points to all the greenery around them

"These wildflowers and spring beauties, ah and these are trout lilies!"

All throughout the day, Atlas stared lovingly at the plants and Elias. Elias never noticed as along the way he kept collecting plants until 2 hours later Atlas asks, "Why are you taking back those plants?"

"When we get back I'll show you."

1-hour passes and they head back, instead of going to their rooms they go to the kitchen, using light magic Elias dehydrates the leaves, places them in a strainer and into water.

"You've had tea before but this Empire only has one type of tea and no other flavors! That's basically torture for anyone! Atlas you might be confused but there can be different types of tea that no one has experimented on! The people of this world are stupid, I just want hibiscus!" After telling Atlas his frustration with the merchants of this world along with the flavors of his tea, Elias takes the multitude of steeping teapots and pours it into many cups.

'Try it, left is a mint medley, the middle is chamomile, right is black tea, and the ones in my hands are white tea with grapefruit." Atlas was amazed at the tea and when having it he was amazed,

"So light! The tea mother gives me is always bitter!"

"Green tea must only steep around 1.5 minutes to maybe 3 minutes any longer and it'll become bitter and grassy."

"Ahhhhh, this is really good Elias thank you!"

"No problem, I've always wanted to share my love of botany and tea with someone. Besides many of those teas, your drinking has different benefits. The chamomile, in particular, is a relaxant and makes you sleepy, so stay off if you are going to stay up late tonight."

With that, Elias and Atlas part ways to go to bed, one with thoughts of a lovesick puppy and another of a sleepy sloth.

"I want to stay by his side"

Thursday: Damien

Elias awoke in the morning to a note under his door, a simple sentence in beautiful handwriting, would you like to meet me outside of the church at 10? Signed by Damien...

Elias liked Damien so he had no reason to review.

Upon meeting, Elias offers to help Damien hone his familial fire magic. The two both realized fire is one of the more destructive so Elias takes them with his teleportation to a desert and rock area. Elias teaches Damien how to create fireballs along with useful things such as fire ropes and fire familiars to do bidding. After a while the two are really close, then Damien releases one of his fears,

"Sometimes I don't know if I really want to be the only son to the Lucifer household, I know my life is easier to people below me yet I feel like the facades I put up are exhausting. My family carries the sin of pride but that just means I have confidence in my actions and bravery, yet people think it means I don't feel pain and somehow superhuman."

"I'm sorry for what you've been through, I don't have such issues at the manor, I know I don't share your issues but I hope I can help solve them. Damien you, and everyone else will always be welcome at Belphegor Estate as long as I remain head. I promise you this. I hope we can help lessen your pains." Elias says seriously and a tad heartbroken.

'I've got the mentality of a scientist and I've always been in the light so I don't mind but when thinking of how the others went through all of this, their families are truly cruel, I hope they get out or become top dog soon."

"I really appreciate that Elias, and who knows maybe I'll take you up on that offer."

The two talked throughout the day, just lying on the floor, this was the first time Damien had ever been so relaxed. In such an empty area no one could find him and tell him his image was ruined, he could show the real him. This was the first day a real laugh left his lips. 8 years on this Earth, and this was his first.

"This is new, only with Elias can I do this, I want more,"

Friday: Xerxes

Xerxes and Elias start off their day by working on magic control, Elias began to feel like a magic tutor for each and every one of them though,

"Ahhhh I don't really mind, I always wanted to be a professor =^∇^*="

Elias helped Xerxes with the concept of assassination, with the technology of Earth present-day guns, he gave Xerxes a gun of the darkness element that could load lightning and darkness bullets. Both felt proud of what they created.

After the magic, Xerxes shared that he was hungry and Elias asked if he would mind if Elias made food and he could watch? Xerxes said yes without much hesitation. Before going, Elias asks,

"do you prefer sweet, savory, spicy, sour, or umami?"

"Any, but  on the colder side"

"I could give you some deserts?"

'Yes please"

Elias and Xerxes went to one of the many church kitchens and Elias decided to bring some deserts from his own world. Chocolate and Tiramisu were his picks as they were not baked. Elias kept a conversation with Xerxes until he finished. After plating the deserts, Xerxes jaw drops,

"Uwahhhhh this is gooddddd, what is this?"

"Chocolate, I know my desserts are great," Elias says with sparkles around him and a nose long like Pinocchio. Clearly proud of his art.

'So sweet, like you'

Saturday: Kyrian

Kyrian and Elias both agreed to practice their magic however they both were of the lazy type so they agreed on a shorter duration. Kyrian was shown how to use his elements to make weapons, he was proficient in many weapons based on his upbringing so he decided to talk to Elias for a prototype for all of them. In this conversation Kyrian talked to Elias about battle and Elias confessed, he has power but he doesn't like to use it, Elias isn't one for war.

'If I was into war any country would fight in another world war for me in Earth.' Elias thought

"I have magic and I am good at my own specific style of sword art however, I personally don't like battling too much. Nor am I proficient in it, I believe I'm better in the intelligence department"

"Do what you desire is my motto, I just go along till I don't want to."

The two talked while lying flat on the ground in a grassy plain, looking at clouds was a nice pastime. The two napped but since Elias fell asleep first he didn't notice a certain white-haired boy take his hand and hold himself closer to him.

'His hands are so soft, when I squish them they are like little stress balls. He has a milky fragrance too, so sweet.'

Upon waking the two talked about themselves, and Elias learned that Kyrian liked spicy!

"Really? I don't hate it but I've always wanted to make spicy foods! Unfortunately, no one could handle it!"

"I'm basically part dragon, I breathe fire through my mouth, hit me with your spicy food, I'm starting to get peckish"

Elias was excited, he decided to get back as quick as possible and go by memory, 'Sichuan cuisine from China is spicy so I'll go off that!"

Fixing up ma po tofu, dan dan noodles, and Ganbian Sijidou. Elias plated the food in front of Kyrian.

Kyrian started to drool and his eyes turned from human to dragon/cat-like slits. Once going back to normal he said,

"Sorry your food looked so good I could barely wait and my greed sin activated"

"No problem, when I get really bad I fall asleep standing so when compared to that yours is nothing too bad!"

The two laugh and Kyrian starts eating.

'AHHH SO SPICY, but SOOO GOOOD. While my lips were burning I took these things Elias gave me, 'chopsticks', and ate some more dan dan noodles. Whatever they are, I want them every day. The manor always has bland food and says they are spicy. Those liars tch, whatever, I'll just eat this!'

Kyrian asked for Elias to cook more in the future and Elias agreed quickly, with no friends the only foods he could make were for himself and he died a little every time he ate something spicy, congee truly was his match made in heaven!

Sunday: Leaving day

After each of the boys had spent a day with Elias they were all really annoyed to leave the church, even though none of them were religious, like at all, however, this was the only place they could spend time with Elias. All six knew the Belphegor's didn't let their child out too much, from the intel they got from spies, the only time Elias left his house in 8 years was when he snuck out for Xerxes! The other dukes would never allow the children to visit the estate either so their ways to meet Elias were barred. Due to their parents scheming, the Belphegor's had a barrier erected around their estate allowing the head of the family to be notified when someone left or entered and if magic was used to tamper with it. Elias couldn't teleport out either! If they left it like this they wouldn't see Elias till they went to the academy when they are older!

The entry into the academy is 15 years old! That would be a full 7 years till any of them went since all of them recently just had their 8th birthday! The entire thought was painful. The worst part, the six could talk throughout the years but since the Belphegors remained a mystery, none had an idea of Elias' homelife other than his parents weren't as cruel. The fact he doesn't go outside was a red flag none of them knew was about. The next plan of action would be to ask Elias as one of the conversations before they all depart.

"Elias, you know about the issues of our parents with yours?" Damien asked

"I do, my parents don't want to tell me though and I learned from outside sources, I will tell you though, My family wouldn't start the conflict however with enough provocation my father wouldn't step back."

"Mhm, our parents won't believe your words, but yours do have meaning to me. Our generation won't ostracize you from the other dukes and we all promise that." Xerxes says.

"It's nice to have that reassurance, it does suck we can't see each other for 7 years though, ah I know! My parents don't know but I own a business you might've heard of it, Braunweiler Co?"

Another bomb dropped.

"YOU'RE THE MYSTERIOUS LEADER OF BRAUNWEILER CO???" The boys dropped, it was at this moment Atlas said,

"All 6 of our parents are sending out hundreds of spies to find out your true name other than your alias, Welt. They want you under their side, if they find out one of the largest companies, Braunweiler is under the Belphegors they will definitely feel threatened and try to take action"

Well they won't find me, I put magic over every turn I take and no one can find me. I made sure of it, besides for the basis of them being threatened it would be under the assumption I use the company profits to help our army. I don't, I use the profits for the workers below me to get raises, more fields of business, and my secret experiment bank money. However back to the main topic, if you send letters to the main branch of Braunweiler CO and say the words, "letter for Aki Y with two u's" The person at the desk will take the letter to deliver to me and give you any letters if I wrote any. I can only collect letters every 2 weeks, but I can send out letters at any time. If I ever need to go out, I ask my butler to do it for me.

With that, all of them agreed to keep in touch with each other through letters even though not a single one had any free time to start with to waste writing letters. When they can't see in person they decided letters would be the next best thing.

So the goodbyes started. Elias gave everyone a pendant with their respective beast each carved from a different gemstone.

What each boy gave Elias:

Damien- dangling earrings

Kyrian- a bracelet

Xerxes- silver chain pendant with a charm

Atlas- Hairpin

Orpheus- An ear cuff and matching platonic ring

Adonis- Zanzi (a Chinese hair ornament like kanzashi, which are sticks 5in-9in length used to put hair in a bun)

Elias departed before the others and went towards his territory while the others talked. Already quite attached, they added a little reassurance to their mind onto his body. The seven had all added an amount of mana into Orpheus' gift, the ear cuff. Once on his ear, it wouldn't come off. Played off as a magic object, Elias would be flattered Orpheus gave something of such worth to him and not realize 7 other mana types were coming from the cuff. With their mana so close, they could sense at all times the type of mana waves radiated from Elias, meaning they could discern his feelings. Along with the fact they would always have a tracker,

just a little reassurance...

The plan worked perfectly and it was already on, since they had time at the church without their 'friend' they decided to pool information.

AN/ you really think you would track your friend?????? Like?? o('^｀)o

Instead of political information though, the seven had agreed to share Elias and pooled all the information they collected in their 7 days and 1 day with him together. So far they were proud of what they got:

Naturally has a slightly cold air around him due to his excess affinity to ice magic,  the body is warm though

IQ is probably at least 30 higher than us but anything other than that he is clueless

Elias sword art- extremely graceful and looks like a dance as he goes through the motion, puts most of the efficiency on agility and speed. Works well with his ice

No familiar yet. (As in a familiar like an animal that has promised to follow u)

He and his butler seem too close, check that issue out

Like Adonis Wings

Likes Long Hair, maybe only Orpheus hair, no one knows

IMPORTANT: Elias has VERY sensitive horns DO NOT LET ANYBODY ELSE TOUCH THEM.

Of course, they wanted to gather more information but they also couldn't get into Belphegor estate so they grudgingly left each other and tried to think about how to make 7 years pass faster.

"Wow, 1 week with that boy and I already want him to be mine. He's just too,

perfect"

AN/ okayyyyy this is my truly longest chapter yet and I doubt I'll ever make a longer chapter, who knows though, this one hits 5,000 words and it took me a couple days to finish this. Wow, I dont think this length will be too normal.

Also- The characters don't have too much of a personality for the first chapters because I couldn't really understand how to properly have a child's personality- my idea was to have them as children, but all of the were born to succeed the Dukes so all of them study 24/7 to be smart. None of them really had any hobbies, and Elias saw them as like friends even though there is a mental age difference because not only has Elias regressed his age, and the fact that Achlys wiped his emotional connection with Earth, Elias lost a part of his emotional maturity. Besides, the guys are all exceptionally smart in Pheonian subjects, they seem a little dumb maybe since they are children and curious when they don't know anything about Earth products.
