[7] Church Magic Time

Recap by Elias:

It's been 2 years and I'm in the carriage heading to the church for the weeklong camp. My sloth mentality kicked in at around 6 and 3 quarters old, I don't have an exact estimate but I sleep a full amount every night and take multiple naps when I don't need to focus.

After treating Xerxes on the festival day I realized this world was missing modern medicine such as salve. The product was a huge success and my corporation, Braunweiler CO. The products were easy to manufacture using medicinal herbs and it was compatible with commoners and could be strengthened effect-wise with mana for adventurers. The company also brought food from Earth and toys for nobles. Many delicacies like strong alcohol are becoming reality in the next coming months

Luckily my strength was one of the strongest in the world before I got the sleepiness of my family so now I can take naps without stress!

Present Time

"Young Master you've arrived 2 streets away from the Church"

Elias hears this, puts on his cloak and illusion magic once more. Elias decided to have his identity hidden unless he found trustable people to show his face to. However, other than Xerxes and if Xerxes brought friends, Elias probably won't talk to anyone. The young boy was never an extrovert ever and he wasn't going to change now his identity would just bring hordes of children to him which wasn't desirable.

8 year old Xerxes POV:

A lot has happened since the day I met Elias, he is truly my savior. After meeting the boy I became determined to be a smart and wealthy merchant so I learned the curriculum of a noble level all the way to 20 (That's when Nobles become adults and have a profession after).

Unfortunately,  a year and a half ago the entire Asmodeus Dukedom started looking for me after kicking my mother and me out on the streets 4 years prior. Mother didn't make it and died in the 2 years' winter past, but she left me with money to live with. The day I met Elias was the day I ran out of money, Elias snuck a pouch of gold and silver coins in my pocket worth 5 years of work for a commoner family.

I knew I was technically an Asmodeus however, as a child I had never known what the Asmodeus truly was and how I was truly related to them. Turns out there is a prophecy that my generation of Duke heirs will be the strongest ever and will need to unite and hopefully save us from the beasts. The Asmodeus duke is in tune with his sin, lust, and thus quite the philanderer. The only issue is that with so many children many were discarded unless their mother was of noble status. The prophecy never said the Asmodeus children were to have noble mothers as well, and when all the noble children passed age 7 with no extra power or familial beast in their blood, the Asmodeus Duke was in huge trouble. He'd kicked out his own heir! The Asmodeus elders in the family were furious. How this was connected to me, well I am the heir. I was found 6 months ago when the philanderer managed to figure out the names of the last 5 children he birthed and my name was part of them.

I now live with the Asmodeus family since I have nowhere else to really go, but I despise everyone here. All the noble children here don't like me since they believe I am the reason they aren't the heir but they really are stupid, its a prophecy and I can't even do anything about it.

At least I wasn't alone completely though, the heirs to the other families all have similar issues. Kyrian, Orpheus, Damien, Adonis, Atlas, and I are really close friends as all of our parents plot heinous things together in a meeting once every 2 weeks.

Well, every heir except the Belphegor family is in our group, all the dukedoms don't associate with the Bephegors because they are known as the strongest family since the magic passed down in that family can decimate large armies easier than anyone else. From what they say, I believe that all the Dukes at the moment are just scared. I'm intrigued by the gender and name of this unknown person but for now, I focus on what's coming.

Annoyingly, I'm going to bring all of my friends to Elias because I've been ordered to spend the camp with them, and I would rather talk to them AND Elias than without my precious Elias.

Elias arrives at the church in the Capital

Elias starts walking over to the Church, slowing down and remembering to tie a certain red ribbon around his wrist. As he enters the courtyard he is amazed by the building

The entire group of 8-years old receive a speech from one of the high-ranking priests. Before heading to the dormitories for children to meet one another in an open area. Everyone settles into their room and then heads out into the common room for their friends. It's in this room now more handsome Xerxes spots a small cloaked figure with a red ribbon around the wrist. Leaving his friends behind, Xerxes rushes to tap the figure of the cloaked figure,

"Elias"

"Ahhh that you are Xerxes, I thought you might've maybe forgotten about our promise!"

'I would never forget..' the boy thought...

"Are these your friends Xerxes?" The cloaked figures point to the 5 boys running towards them.

The boys run up saying,

"Xerxes what the heck, why did you run off!"

"Xerxes I'm not running again if you do this again"

"Xerxes slow down."

"Guys, who is that." The white-haired boy from the group points to Elias/Cloaked figure.

Xerxes interjects, "Guys, this is the person I wanted to bring with us, this is Elias."

"Hi I'm Elias"... it is silent

The five boys were all extremely suspicious of Elias, they felt a little better knowing this person was a child just like them and couldn't be the head of the kidnapping association but they still felt like this person would take advantage of Xerxes and his position.

Xerxes playing the middle man said,

"Everyone come with me to my room and let's get introductions done,"

While walking to his room, he separates  his best friends from Elias and says,

"He nursed me back to health when I was in the slums and never knew my position, he was never that type of person. The Asmodeus weren't even looking for me at that time."

When hearing that information the boys were shocked, to help an orphan on the street isn't something anyone would do.

"We're here!" Xerxes says, opening his room and ushering everyone in

Elias came in and sat on the ground and everyone else sat on the bed. Elias let out a loud yawn as well. They thought, is this person a commoner? To get the conversation going and see what the cloaked person would do, all 6 boys introduced themselves.

"I am Xerxes T. Asmodeus, House of Lust"

"I'm Damien  Lucifer, House of Pride'

"Kyrian Mammon, House of Greed"

"Orpheus Beelzebub, House of Gluttony"

"Atlas Leviathan, House of Envy"

"Adonis Satan, House of Wrath"

*All together- "We are all the heirs to our respective houses."

All of them were shocked after their introductions that the person sitting on the floor wasn't the least bit surprised!

"I guess it's my turn then, My name is Elias and I'm a guy."

Elias the. pulled off his cloak and showed his true appearance.

"Oh, and My full name is Elias Thales Belphegor, heir to the Belphegor Duchy and House of Sloth. At your service..." Elias bows after his introduction with a little smirk on his face.

'hmph, I'm no commoner, take that jerks, I can hear your stupid whispers'

This is all in their heads- nothing was said aloud

All the boys went (°ロ°)!

'This boy, we thought he was a commoner but really he's just affected by his sin of sloth, OMG BRO HE'S GORGEOUSS'

Xerxes: "Wow, so he's my savior he's beautiful"

Damien: "Hmm very pretty, I like him a little"

Kyrian: "I like him, his he has nice and pretty eyes"

Atlas: "Woahhh, his hair looks so nice"

Orpheus: "So cute, I wonder if I could have a taste of his blood.."

Adonis: "We both have physical traits from our beast, I'm not the only one'≧ω≦

* imagine this is Elias with horns and blue eyes and 8 years old. When he is older he slowly more and more grows out his hair

Elias at the moment was still a child with some cheek fat on his face. His big blue doe eyes were always prominent no matter what tho. A big statement was his horns, when everyone started to stare at them, Elias noticed,

"Yeah, I have them on me all the time and I usually just hide them, I imagine you guys get affected by your sins too, mine isn't too bad but sometimes I fall asleep standing, haha"

Adonis spoke first, "You get affected even though you have physical traits? For me personally, I have my wings out and I can't retract them leading my anger issues to not affect me."

"My horns are much bigger than this and if I release a little more power, flowers will grow onto my horns but when my horns are full size  the weight is too much for me and injures are prominent, I keep my horns out at this length and sleep a lot during the day..." Elias said with a little chuckle

Atlas says, "Everyone except for Adonis has their sin affect their choices since they don't have a halfway beast form to choose from."

"Ahhhh it's nice to have people who share the same issues as you!" Elias says as he flops his entire body into a starfish position on the floor.

The boys kept silent, staring at Elias in wonder.

"I think he should be mine maybe?"...
