Helping Our Brothers

Scripture:
Romans 1:11
"I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong."
Reflection:
See how much Paul wanted to see his brothers in Christ to impart a spiritual gift to them to become stronger. We need to worry about our brothers, how they are going in the faith, and want to see them better every day. Our desire needs to be like Paul's desire to see our brothers strong. Are we impacting the lives of people with the spiritual gift that God gave to us? Or are we just thinking about ourselves and not caring for our brothers? As I said before in this book, "the Christian journey isn't a journey that we walk alone." This journey we are walking with brothers; our desire must be to see them better and stronger spiritually every day.
Application:
Take a moment today to think about how you are helping your brothers in Christ to strengthen them with your spiritual gift.
Pray to God, asking Him to help you develop more love for your brothers in Christ every day and to give you a desire to see them spiritually strong every day.
Prayer:
God, thank You for this time and for this devotional. I want to ask You to help me develop more love for my brothers in Christ every day and help me also to impart some spiritual gift to strengthen them. That's what I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!
