4 Principles

Scripture:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV):

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Reflection:

Here in this Bible verse, we have 4 principles that are necessary and that every Christian needs to practice: humble ourselves, pray, seek God, and turn from our wicked ways. We need to recognize that we depend completely on Him and that we need Him. We need to pray—it connects our heart to God's will. We need to seek Him all the time as never before, and we need to repent of our sins and our wicked ways. In this way, God will forgive us and bring revival to our lives. If you want to grow spiritually, practice these principles.

Application:

Practice today these 4 actions in your life: humble yourself, pray, seek the Lord, and turn from your wicked ways.

Prayer:

God, thank You for this devotional and help me to practice those 4 principles in my life. I know that if I do that, You will hear, will forgive my sins, and will bless my life. God, I pray for my brothers and sisters that You help them in that journey too and help them to practice those principles that are very important for our spiritual life.
