Chapter 2

You are loved

Daily devotional

Scripture: "Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted."  Isaiah 53:4

Reflection: See how you are loved. Jesus took upon Him your pain, and He bore your suffering. He did it for you. How crazy is this love—a love that suffers for you, a love that dies for you.

Everything that Jesus did was for us to have a relationship with God again and for us not to die spiritually. It is a voluntary act and love—a love that we need to always remember. Nobody loves us like He does.

In His love, we are compelled, and we are changed. We are saved. It's all about Him and through Him. We don't deserve this love, but He loved us. Let's thank Him and worship Him every day for the rest of our lives for His love and passion for us.

Application:

.Take a moment today to remember how much Jesus suffered for you and to think about his love.

. Pray to God, thanking him for his love for you, for suffering for you, and for bearing your suffering.

. Share this good news with someone you know, telling this person how important he [she] is to God."

Prayer: Thank You, God, for showing Your love through Jesus. I don't deserve this deep love, this mercy. I need You in every moment of my life—second, minute, hour, time. No matter if it is a hard moment or a moment that seems easier, I am dependent on You in everything and every step of my life. You are the reason for my life.

God, I want to ask for forgiveness for every time I forgot this love, every time I forgot Your mercy. God, don't let me forget how much I am loved by You. Help me to become closer to You every single day and moment.

Let me show  the world and  the people around me Your love and passion for me and for them. That's what I pray, in Jesus' name, Amen!
