Just Through Christ

Scripture:
Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Reflection:
Paul here recognizes his limitations, saying that he can do all things, but it's not because of him; it's because of Christ. It's Christ that strengthens him. It happens in the same way with us. We need to recognize our limitations; we need to recognize that without Him, we are nothing and that we depend on Him. We need Him; He is the one that gives us strength. Through Him, we can do everything.
Application:
Recognize your limitations and see how much you need Christ to give you strength.
Prayer:
God, thank you for this devotional. I recognize that I'm nothing without Christ, and I recognize that I need Christ in my life. I need Him to give me strength, and I know that with Him I can do all things. God, thank you for everything and for the opportunity to live a life for Christ. In the name of Jesus, amen!
