What Jesus said will happen

Scripture:

Matthew 24:35

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." (NIV)

Reflection:

The verse starts saying that heaven and earth will pass away. This world that we are living in always changes. We can't put our trust and faith here. There are wars, there are people hating other people, there are people killing each other. It always faces hard moments, and it will not be eternal. But the word of Jesus—what Jesus said—will happen. This Bible verse says, “My words will never pass away.” We can trust in that. We can trust that Jesus, He is faithful with His Word, and what He says will be fulfilled no matter if it seems impossible. He is God. What He says is unshakeable. We can trust in His promises. So let's trust in Him and in His words. Remember always what He said is unshakeable.

Take a moment today to reflect on what Jesus said that will happen in the future.

Prayer:

God, thank You for this devotional and for Your Word. Let me always remember that heaven and earth will pass away, but Jesus remains faithful to His Word, and everything that He said will happen. Help me also to trust in His Word. In the name of Jesus, amen!
