☆ANSHUMAN☆

I looked at her, her eyes slowly getting glossy and her lips quirked up in a small smile.

She slowly came closer to me and whispered a 'Yes.'

Though I was sure that she will accept the proposal but after hearing this one word, the confirmation had my do cartwheel in my chest.

I was beyond happy would be understatement, cause I can't explain in words how happy I was today.

I am so lucky to fell for a girl like her, she is the best thing that had happened to me.

" Yes, I would love to." She repeat as she also went on her knees.

We both were on our knees, staring at each other. I felt some hot tears release my eyes and trolled down my cheeks.

She pressed her lips tightly controlling herself and extended her hand. I wiped the tears from my free hand before slipping the ring in her ring finger.

She immediately hugged me and I reciprocated her action with same passion.

" I love you Eva...I love you, the way you are so please don't change. I am so grateful to destiny for returning you again to me. I never believed in soulmate and pairs from heaven thing but while waiting for you these years I wished everytime from god to pair me with you in any and every universe, timezone and lifetime." She pulled herself.

"I love you too, I know, I made things complicated for us. I never wanted to do that but she's also an important part of mine and I betrayed her. It made me so guilty. I just wanted to get my friend back and didn't even consider your feelings. I am sorry, I am sorry." She sniffed crying silently.

I hate to see her cry, as if someone is torturing me. I promise myself to make her happy smiling and fierce like back then when I first met her.

" Hey..Hey, stop this. Let by gones and be by gones. We should give ourselves a new start and get on a new journey love each other. " I tried to console her by hugging and patting on head.

" Btw I wanted to date you before getting married just like you always wished but since we have lost a lot of time and our parents also know about us, so I think marriage will be a better option. Trust me Eva, I'll be a good husband and a really good friend." She chuckled at my statement.

She always wanted to fall in love before getting married and wanted to feel how dating era feels like. Just like being a girlfriend and boyfriend.

Trying new things together, teasing each other, showing signs of love.

How couples get close to each other disclosing their secrets and love each other beyond boundaries step by step, I'll make sure to fulfill her all fantasies.

~Author's pov~

" Wake up Anshu." Eva shouted snatching the blanket from her husband.

" Just 2 min Eva, let me sleep." He again covered himself.

The whole room was painted in a shade of soft pink and white. The center wall had many beautiful pictures and collages, while the white curtain were letting some of the sunlight to enter the room.

Eva sighed in defeat but her eyes sparkled as she got an idea.

She turned to the door before shouting " Ayraaa...."

And few seconds later a 4 years old girl came running inside, her anklet making the jingling sound and the whole house was giving a happy vibe.

" Yes mumma." The little girl responded her mother.

" Baby, your Bua is on her way and look at your dad, he's still sleeping. Wake him up." Eva picked her up and dropped her on the bed.

The little girl crawled to her father and bend down to his ear " Papa..." She yelled making Anshuman wake up in a jerk, he was frustrated.

" Good morning papa." Ayra said and kissed him on his cheeks, and his frustration was no where to be seen.

He hugged her and got up from bed, " Good morning ,my lovely doll." He kissed her back.

Eva smiled seeing both of them. It's been 5 years since they got married, they live in Mumbai with their own small family, though they wanted to live in Delhi with the Roy family but Anshuman's father wanted both of them to focus on their career.

" Give good morning kiss to mumma too." The little girl said making her mother giggle.

"Why not my sweetheart." He glance at Eva and with the free hand pulled her to him, her eyes widened at his action and he slowly pecked her lips.

She blushed slightly then shake her head " Nitya and Erica are on their way, can you please be quick." She scolded him taking Ayra from him.

" Yes my dear wifey." Saying he rushed inside the bathroom with his towel.

The mother daughter duo went to kitchen where they made breakfast.

The bell rang grabbing attention of everyone in the house. Eva opened the door and was greeted by cute little 4 years old boy who immediately jumped hugging her.

" Mami." The little boy said hugging her aunt. Both of them share a good bond with each other.

" Aww, my sweet little baby bear, how's my Aryan." She put him down and look at the parents of that boy.

"Nitya, Abhigyan, I am so happy to see you guys again qfter a long time." Eva hugged Nitya and welcomed them inside, just when she was about to close the door, a couple rushed to the door.

"Heyy, Heyyy. We are also here." Her eyes dilated seeing the couple.

" You guys came together?" She asked Nitya.

" No, we met just before entering the society. Gunny was parking his car and Erica was standing. " Nitya informed and the couple agreed.

The five of them walked inside and the two kids playing with toys.

Everyone took seats on sofa as Eva bought some snacks and cold drinks.

"Eva, I'll eat after tieing the Rakhi." Nitya muttered.

"Ok then, let me get you pooja ki thal." Eva rushed inside a room and bought a plate filled with a roli paste, Camphor.

Nitya and Abhigyan live in Delhi, they visited Anshuman and Eva during Rakhi and bhai dooj festival.

Anshuman sat on sofa wearing a light brown sherwani and Nitya sat in front of him then did his aarti and tied the rakhi while Eva clicked their pics.

Now it was time for the kids. Nitya, with lot if effort made Aryan sit in front of Ayra, who was so excited to tie the rakhi.

Eva helped Ayra in tieing knot of the rakhi and Abhigyan gave Aryan some money and asked him to give it Ayra.

"Aryan, baby give this money to Ayra." Abhigyan said so sweetly.

" Why? Why should I give her money. I'll buy chocolates from them." Aryan argued pouting which made everyone laugh.

" Baby we'll give you more money ok." Nitya tried to make him understand.

" But mumma I ....."Aryan's words were left unsaid as Ayra snatched the money and ran beside Gunny who instantly picked her up.

Aryan ran towards them but he wasn't able to reach her so he became upset and sat on sofa making a sad face.

Erica walked to him and sat beside him.

" You want chocolates?" She asked and he innocently nodded.

" I have bought you a lot of chocolates, you want to have a look?" She asked as she showed him a chocolate box and his eyes sparkled immediately.

" Really, are they for me?"

" Ofcourse, it's for you." Erica said but then Ayra came to her and she forwarded her hand which had money to Aryan.

" You take the money, I want chocolates." Everyone chuckled at the kids.

Aryan faced her head to other side " No."

" mumma, look Aryan is not giving me chocolates." Ayra complained and Gunny picked her up again.

" Aww my baby, you want chocolates. I got you, don't worry." Gunny said giving her another box of chocolates that they bought.

~~At Night~~

" I can't believe Eva, that you both are parents today." Eric cheered.

"Ya, it's seems like yesterday when you guys got married." Gunny agreed to her point.

" Oh, is that so?" Anshuman asked.

" Ofcourse, I was so happy to see you guys together." Gunny said remembering the time when the couple got married 5 years ago.

"Not more than me." Nitya said.

" Ofcourse, you yourself helped in each and every functions." Abhigyan comments.

" Why wouldn't I, It was my brother and best friend's marriage, after all." She argued putting her hands hips making Erica and Gunny giggle.

" I am so happy, that at last, everything went well. You guys met again because you were bound to be together." Abhigyan said with a small smile.

Eva hugged her husband who was sitting just beside her, both of them had a smile on her face.

" Ya, they are made for each other couple." Nitya said and motioned her both hands to avoid them from any kinds of evil eyes.

" God bless you both and keep staying by each other." Gunny whispered.
