"Did you get it?" Alex asked the police detective who came with a tracking expert. He learned his lesson after Mason kidnapped Laura, he was prepared for this although he didn't know Dexter would be the one who would try to take his woman."Got it," replied the detective.Meanwhile, Laura woke up and was surprised to find herself in a different room and not the hotel room, the last thing she remembered was she was at the poolside looking for coco when a hand out of nowhere drugged her.Dexter came in carrying a tray of food in his hands, he has this creepy smile on his face."What is happening, Dexter? Where is everyone?" She asked."It's just you and me my love, there's no one to come in between us." He muttered looking her in the eyes.Laura got scared."What do you mean? I thought we were going back home." Laura could feel the change in attitude emanating from him."We are at home baby girl, I finally have you all to myself, I can stop pretending and move on with you my love." he caressed her face, and Laura pushed his hand away."What is wrong with you Dexter, you were never like this." She created space between them."I have always been like this but you never noticed because you paid no attention to me!" He yelled."Dexter please let me go, I don't want drama, I am tired of all this kidnap and rescue game." She begged tearing up."This time, there is no rescue. You don't need to be rescued you belong to me and me alone." He tried holding her but she bit his hand, Dexter yelped in pain.Laura used that opportunity to run away but Dexter caught up with her, he carried her on his shoulder and took her back to the room "don't make me hit you, Laura, I am trying to be patient with you." he snarled."Let me go you pig!" she yelled."This is what I like about you, you always prove to be strong, that fire in you, I love it." He gently placed her on the bed."Look, I'm not going to treat you like Mason and Alex, I am going to wait for your feelings for me to grow before I touch you." He said."I will never love you, my heart belongs to Alex." Her words ached Dexter's heart but he held it."I endured a lot, I was patient until now and I am willing to wait. You were able to grow feelings for that monster, I'm pretty sure you are going to do the same for me." He caressed her cheek but she pushed his hand away."You are nothing like Alex, and I will never love you." She barked."You are just confused and overwhelmed by what is happening, you don't mean what you are saying." His patients and words made Laura even angrier."Don't you get it? I hate you, Dexter, I hate this person standing in front of me. I want the old Dexter, not this monster who has abducted me." Her voice softened,"This is me, Laura, I am still the same." Tired of the back and forth between them, he stood and left.Meanwhile, Alex had gotten their location thanks to the phone call from Dexter, they were able to track him. They are at an isolated area in Las Vegas, apparently Dexter owns a house there which Alex didn't know.He is currently on his way to the location. Alex is conflicted with his emotions, although Dexter kidnapped his woman, he couldn't forget the fact that they were buddies.He hates betrayal and thieves but no matter what Dexter does, he can't bring himself to hurt him, that's how deep their friendship is. He knows Kimberly loves Dexter so, so he told his father to stay back and watch over her, he promised to bring them back that's if Dexter wants to come back.Laura sat in the room thinking of ways to escape, she was able to do it with Mason, and she knows she can still do it. The windows in the room had no bars so she can climb out the window.She took the duvets on the bed and a few more in the cupboard and tied them together making a long rope just like she did when she tried running away from Alex."Can't believe I'm doing this again, this time I'm doing it for you Alex, no matter what we are stuck together." She muttered with a tiny smile.She tied one end of the duvet on the bed and threw the other end out of the window, she stood and look down, the building was high but not high enough to stop her."Here we go, here goes nothing." She held the duvets and climb down the window, her legs and hands were shaking because of the height but she didn't let it get into her head."Fear is just in my mind, there's nothing to be scared of," she chanted this phrase in her head like a mantraShe successfully climbed down the window. Dexter was in the living room when he saw her little figure running out of the gates he had left open, he ran out of the house going after her."You can't get away from me Laura, you are mine, stop this game and come back before things get ugly!" He yelled running after her.Laura's legs carried her as fast as they could, the sky was orange hue indicating sunset, it was going to be dark soon and she knows no one there, she can't slow down, she has to get away from him before it gets dark.Alex saw her coming, he was on his way to rescue her, he stopped the car and went out of it, he ran going to meet her."If I can't have you, Laura, then nobody will see you in the afterlife." He pulled out a gun from his pant and shot her in the back twice.....
