The next day, Mason had to do something in the main town, he called his guard and his boat was brought for him, he kissed Laura and left. She lay unmoving on the bed until e left, she pulled out the phone he stole from him when he kissed her.Fortunately, she had Alex's number off her head, she dialed his number and picked up the phone immediately. "You son of a bitch, where the fuck are you?" His voice boomed."Alex," she called in a shaky voice."Laura, are you ok? Where are you?" He asked, his voice softened."I am in a beach house but I don't know where it is located, please get me out of here, I can't bare the torture." She sobbed."Did he touch you?" He asked"He..he.., Oh my God," she couldn't say it out. Alex understood, his hands clenched into a fist."I have people here trying to track the call, keep the phone going." He muttered. He had gone to find a way to track his phone but luckily Laura called."I'm losing my mind, Alex, he is crazy I can't handle this place. I'm might do something bad, I can't handle any more torture, I want peace, I want to be free from this suffering." He checked the call log, the number was his last call, he looked at her again and smiled."You smart little bitch," he pulled her by her hair. "Get up, we are leaving." He carried her out of the house and forced her into the boat."Please stop, I don't want to go with you." He held her and his guy sail the boat. They got to a point covered with nothing but trees, it was an island. He pulled her going to, Laura tripped and fell, she picked up a handful of sand and threw it in his eyes."Ahhh," he yelled. Laura picked on her heels, she ran away from him. The sun decided to rest giving the moon her chance to come up, she sat on the ground panting. She had lost Mason or so she thought, he caught up with her in no time, she ran going deeper into the woods, he called out to her but she refused to stop.Alex and his crew entered the forest, and the search party began. Everyone held a flashlight in hand, they walked in the dark looking for Laura. They had gone to the beach house but Mason wasn't there so they searched and they saw this island and decided to look there.Laura ran with Mason hot on her tail, she tripped and fell peeling her knee but she didn't let the pain get into her head. She stood up and continue with the race, she cried for help when she saw men holding flashlights, she tripped again for the second time but this time she was met with a familiar strong arm, which curled around her waist holding her protectively.He aimed his gun at the person who caused everything, "bang bang bang." Three bullets were in his chest, Laura shook due to the sound of the gun but Alex was there to comfort her."Thank you," she muttered and blacked out. Alex carried her in his arms. Laura was wheeled to the emergency room again, the doctor didn't see anything wrong. She was sent to a private room to rest, they treated her bruises and."Are you okay?" Alex asked when she woke sleeping for 48 hours."I'm not, Alex I don't want to feel this way again." She cried."I know, I know love. I can't count the number of times you've visited this hospital because of me, the number of times your life has been under threats because of me, I will respect your decision if you want to leave."
