Mason was going through some files in his study when a sharp knock interrupted him, he permitted the person to come in. "Boss we have a problem." The person said the moment he entered the study room. Mason discarded the papers and followed him to the scene that had formed in his compound.To say he was shocked was the least way to explain his feelings right now, the dead body of Sandra covered in dry and fresh blood was causing chaos in his house."Who did this to her?" Mason asked looking at everyone for an explanation which he got when the note was given to him. The note read,"Watch your back Mason, you don't know what I have installed for you. This bitchy partner of yours had the guts to kidnap my woman and she tried to kill her, I don't care if you had a hand in this or not but watch your back, I am coming for you." the note was written with Sandra's blood."What did you do?" He asked the body who couldn't give a response to the question. "you know what to do with the body." He stood up and left the scene. Mason took a bath and went to Alex's house but he was told they were in the hospital so he went there.His heart shattered when he saw Laura in the bed sleeping, she had hideous bruises. His hands formed into a fist when he thought about the pain she must have gone through, but then it worked in his favor, there is no baby to stop her from loving him. He smirked like a maniac and went inside the room."What are you doing here? Didn't you get my warning?" Laura was fast asleep, and Alex managed to make her sleep."What kind of a boyfriend are you? You claim to love her but you couldn't protect her? Look at her, see the bruises on her face, see the cuts on her hands. I hope you are happy." the words he said affected Alex, he didn't know when he had punched Mason, sending him to the floor.The noise woke Kimberly up, she ran to her dad and hugged him from behind "stop fighting dad, mom doesn't need this." Alex calmed down, he send Mason away with a warning."Sorry for waking you, princess." He carried her back to the chair. A knock on the door interrupted his speech, he frowned when he saw who was standing there with a fruit basket."What are you doing here Massimo?" Kimberly looked at the elderly man intrigued by him."I want to pay my future daughter-in-law a visit and I want to meet my granddaughter" Kimberly's eyes grew big, and she ran to him and hugged him."Grandpa, dad look I have a grandpa." she pulled Massimo into the room."He is not your grandfather" Alex pulled Kimberly to his side and glared at his father for stepping foot into the hospital room."Don't lie to your daughter Alex, I am your father ain't I? You are a product of my sperm." Alex glared at him for saying such a word in front of his daughter."What is happening?" Laura asked, the noise had woken her up from her sleep."Daughter-in-law" Massimo called walking towards her. Laura looked at Alex for an answer to the question in her eyes."Laura meet Massimo, Massimo meet Laura." He introduced both of them omitting important information."Alex is shy to say I am his father, how are you doing?" Laura smiled at him confused, she stretched out her hands for a handshake but Massimo hugged her instead.Laura liked Massimo, he was cool and kind but one thing was off, he knew a lot of things about her that she didn't tell him.Alex was fuming in rage, he didn't like the fact that they are communicating with each other, he doesn't want Massimo in his life.Guys please comment...
