Laura had just descended the stairs when she felt dizzy, and she stood to stop herself from failing, and Alex noticed it but before he could get to her, she blacked out."Laura" he yelled. "Bring my car keys," he said to no one in particular. The keys were brought and he rushed Laura to the hospital."What happened?" A nurse asked bringing the stretcher."I don't know, she just passed out." the door to the emergency room was locked immediately after she was taken in.Sandra sat at the dining table unfazed about the fact that her sister just lost consciousness, she ate her breakfast as if nothing happened, after all, there is no one to see her or call her bad sister.Dexter took Kimberly to the hospital after Alex rushed out and the maids are in their quarters. After eating her breakfast, she went to her room and informed Mason about what happened to Laura.The doctor stepped out of the hospital room, he had a calm face, and he walked to the three people in the waiting room. Dexter and Kimberly had arrived at the hospital."Can I see you in the room, I'll like to talk to the both of you." Alex followed him to the room, Laura had regained consciousness and was waiting for the doctor."Mr. Quinn, I believe the both of you are aware of her condition and you know it is still too early, having sex at this early stage is risky." Alex and Laura looked at each other confused, they had no idea what the doctor was talking about."What condition doc? Am I sick?" Laura asked fearfully."Sick? No, you are not, you are six weeks pregnant, don't tell me you didn't know about it."A loud gasp escaped Laura's lips, she didn't that this was going to happen, even when she didn't see her period last month, it didn't bother her because she normally has an irregular menstrual cycle. She looked at Alex to see his reaction but his face was blank, does this mean he doesn't want the baby? Does she have to get rid of it? She can't do that to her first child.The room was silent, the doctor looked at the couple feeling confused, the air in the room was thick."Alex?" She called but he still didn't say anything, he still had the blank look on his face."I still have other patients, avoid stressing yourself out and in the meantime abstain from sex" he left."Alex please, I don't want to get rid of this baby, please say something" unshed tears clouded her eyes. He took long tiny steps toward her with his hands in his pockets.He held her face and gave her a deep kiss. "It seems like you don't know me, I will never hurt my child or children." He kissed her again.Dexter and Kimberly looked walked in on them while there were still kissing passionately "daddy and mommy sitting on a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G" she teased."What is wrong with mommy? Why did she pass out?""Come here" Alex waved "how do having a sibling?" you feel about"Is Mommy pregnant?""Yes""Yay, I am going to be a big sister" she screamed "uncle Dexter Mommy is pregnant. Can I see the baby? Take him out and show me" Laura burst into uncontrollable laughter."You can't see him now baby, maybe after some months," she said after the laughter.Let's go home Alex, I don't want to stay here I don't like it here" she muttered. He smiled because of the words she used 'let's go home' this means she considers him as family."We can go home when the doctor says you are good to go." She pouted but didn't say anything."Mommy, will you give me a baby boy or a girl?" Kimberly asked "I want a baby brother""Me too, I want a boy" she caressed her stomach and smiled, she is pregnant.The doctor said she was free to go home, when they got home, Kimberly was first to announce to everyone that her mommy is pregnant and she will soon be a big sister.Sandra heard it and was furious, she rushed to her room and angrily called Mason "hello Mason, what is taking you so long? Why is Laura still here? That bitch is now pregnant" she said angrily."What do you mean she is pregnant? She can't be pregnant, we won't allow it." They came up with a plan to end the baby's life and separate those two forever.
