After breakfast, they all got ready and left for the park, Kimberly was so happy she kept hopping and singing. "Kimberly, stop that you might trip and fall." Laura scolded."Where are we going first? Let's ride the roller coaster" Kimberly couldn't stop talking, her excitement knew no bounds. She has never left the house apart from going to her aunty's house during the holidays.They bought tickets for all the rides, Alex didn't know which one was safe for a child. He didn't enjoy such privileges when he was young and he has no interest in these things.Dexter just followed them like a lost sheep, he isn't interested in this kind of stuff but Alex dragged him down here. This is not the noise he likes, he likes the noise of gunshots, people screaming in pain and begging for their lives.Laura wanted to feel free but she couldn't, not when Alex and his friend were there. What if she tries to escape? The population here is enough for her to make a run for it, she can blend into the crowd."Can I use the bathroom?" She asked Alex, he gave her a suspicious look but he nodded. Laura went to her knees in front of Kimberly and hugged her. "This is goodbye my darling. I love you but I have to make sacrifices, I can't continue to live with your father as his slave.' She said within.She went to one of the people working there and they gave her directions. She hurriedly went in and shut the door, her heart was throbbing, this is it she is finally getting out of this suffering.A girl walked in, she had the same height and body frame as her. Fishing in her pocket, she pulled a fifty-dollar bill that she stole from Alex and walk up to her."Good afternoon can you do me a favor?" She asked the girl who just stare at her but didn't utter a word."I am trying to get away from some bad men, they want to harm me. Can we switch clothes? I will give you fifty dollars "she begged to hold her hands together pleadingly.The girl accepted and they switched clothes. She took a face mask from her and wore it, she thank her and left the bathroom. Her feet walk nonstop, getting out of this park unnoticed was the goal.She walked with her head low and a hoddie on her head. People looked at her strangely but she didn't care, what matters is her getting out of this place unseen.Alex kept looking at his watch, she had taken the time and he has a bad feeling about it. "Dexter, can you go on the rides with Kimberly? Princess Dexter will be riding with you, let me see what is keeping your aunt Laura busy in the bathroom." She nodded and both she and Dexter went to the rides.Alex pulled out his phone and made a call"I hope you haven't left your position. Keep an eye, if you see any suspicious movement, check it out." Alex didn't go far when he saw a girl wearing Laura's clothes."Hey, you, who gave you that dress youare putting on?" He asked the girl wholooked at him with an eye roll."You better tell me else I will chop your hands and feet off and feed them to my dogs" when the girl saw the face of the man who was talking clearly, she break asweat. She didn't know it was Alexander Quinn, she is in trouble."I met a girl in the bathroom and she gave me fifty dollars in exchange for my clothes." Alex grits his teeth in anger, he shoo the girl and made a call.He described what she is wearing "who was guarding the bathroom? Take him to the dungeon." He ordered.A few minutes later he received a call that Laura has been spotted, she is heading towards the train station which is close to the park. Alex gave Dexter a call and informed him of what is happening, he gave his orders and left.Laura breathes out a sigh of relief, she can't believe she did it. She needed to buy a train ticket, she didn't have much on her, and she couldn't take much from Alex's wallet.As she was going to the station to get her train ticket, she felt a big arm holding her tightly, the grip on her waist was firm."I gave you one chance to leave the house and this is how you used it, you will face the consequences of your actions Laura." She gulped when she heard the familiar voice."If you like a scream, these people will face the consequence, now turn and let's go back'' she obediently did as she was told with a fearful heart.They went back to the park, Laura's eyes were moist with unshed tears but she didn't want Kimberly to see her crying. Dad where we're you? And why is aunt Laura putting on a different dress?" Kimberly asked, she has gone on all the rides but she didn't get a chance to ride with her new mommy and daddy."Your aunt Laura spilled water on her clothes and we had to get her a new one. Did you try out all the rides?" His father ask, he was trying to keep his cool in front of his daughter."Yes I did but I didn't get to ride with the both of you, what's the point of coming if I didn't get to spend quality time with you two?" She asked with a sad face."Who said the day was over? Let's try the rides together." the three of them went on the roller coaster, the ride was fun for Kimberly but it wasn't for the other two.One person was really angry and the other was scared of her witts. The day was finally over, and they all went home. The journey to the house was quiet, Kimberly was fast asleep, Alex was looking at Laura with caged rage, Dexter had a nonchalant face, and Laura tried her best to avoid Alex's gaze.
