Chapter 19 - What is wrong with your taste?

Rong Yi, head spinning and feet floating, looked at him from behind for a moment, then went forward and squatted down beside him.

He patted Chen Keyao on the back, “Are you drunk?”

Chen Keyao finally stopped vomiting. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and looked up at Rong Yi. His expression was very complicated, but he said nothing.

Rong Yi squinted at him. “Hey, you want me to help you up?”

He did not wait for an answer, then suddenly stood up. But just as he reached out his hand, his whole world was spinning.

Rong Yi stumbled, barely able to keep his balance. The moment he was about to sat down on the ground, someone grabbed him.

“I thought you were going to help me up,” Chen Keyao said, looking at him in disbelief. “Where are you going?”

It was nearly afternoon when Rong Yi woke up the next day.

He was suffering a nasty hangover. His head was heavy, dizzy and aching.

He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling for quite a while before he finally remembered that he had brought someone back yesterday. But now he looked around the room, and there was nobody else.

As he was lost in confusion, the handle of the door was carefully unscrewed. Someone crept in and took a half step with great caution, then relaxed his movements after making eye contact with him.

It was Zhou Li. He smiled at Rong Yi, then turned his head to the door and shouted: “He woke up!”

“......Who are you talking to?”Rong Yi asked.

“Your roommate,” answered Zhou as he sat on the chair beside the bed.

There were two bathrooms in the house. One in Chen Keyao’s room, while the public one was connected to the corridor in living room. There was no separate one in Rong Yi’s room.

Zhou Li said that he woke up at noon and wanted to use the toilet badly. He waited for a long time but Rong Yi was still sleeping. So he crept out of the room to find it himself.

The public bathroom was not difficult to find, but he had no toiletries. He could only cup his hands to hold some water to rinse his mouth, then dried his face with tissue.

“When I opened the door, I saw a man in the living room, and he scard me!” Zhou Li gesticulated toward his face. “He is so tall with so fierce a look! He even has a long scar on his face!”

Rong Yi choked with laughter, and then burst out laughing.

When Chen Keyao was silent and frowning slightly, he did look a little sharp. But not so long ago he had nothing to do with ferocity.

‘What the hell is going on?’ Rong Yi thought. He only had a few extra hours of sleep. ‘What makes Zhou Li change his mind?’

“I didn’t mean it any other way, I just thought that you are worried about finding the one. And he likes Alpha. You just look like one, don’t you?”

Rong Yi was embarrassed.

“It’s just my opinion. You won’t take Omega into your consideration anyway. Dating an Alpha like your roommate is much better than that fatso. I do think you two are well-matched. But if you are not interested, then just forget it.”

It was not about him liking the guy or not. The stupid thing happened between him and Chen Keyao was so hard to explain, so Rong Yi decided to kept silent.

“And ......” Zhou Li licked his lips, “I’m sorry, I was a meddler. Just now he asked me about our relationship. I want to see his attitude, so I lied. I told him you are my boyfriend.”

After listening to this, somehow Rong Yi felt awkward.

He heard that there were four people in Chen Keyao’s dormitory, and he had pursued two of them. It was weird that they could still maintain close relationship with each other up to now. Maybe all the obtuse Alphas in his school happened to be in the same dormitory.
