Chapter - 06 ᴅᴇꜱᴛɪɴʏ

Aisha's pov

I'm very excited for my wedding, marrying the love of my life is all I've ever wanted. For many days, I've noticed that Aanya has been zoning out a lot. After her boyfriend cheated on her, she lost hope in love. My best friend is feeling sad, and it's hard for me to celebrate my happiness while knowing she's not okay. However, Aanya, being Aanya, reassured me that I should focus on myself, and she's fine. But deep down, I know she's not okay, even though she continues to smile and spread positivity in her surroundings.

After coming to Rajasthan, I noticed minimal changes in my cold-ass best friend, who is none other than the great King Aarav Singh Rajvansh. Yes, he and I have observed that he is always in close proximity to Aanya. I wonder if he's in love with our Aanya. I know that no one can resist her beauty, but my idiot bestie is avoiding him, and it's clear that he's annoying her. I wish both my best friends fall in love with each other and get married. I can't bear to see them both lonely because they mean a lot to me.

Dhruv said as he approached me, "Aisha, yahaan kya kar rahi hai? Main kab se tujhe dhoondh raha tha."

(Aisha, what are you doing here? I was looking for you for so long.)

"Nothing just thinking if I should get married or not"

"Why did something happen? Did that guy do something, say once, and then he is dead?" He said making me chuckle.

"Relax brother nothing happened, it's just that Aanya is sad and me being happy. You know what I mean"

"Listen, Aishu, everyone has to face this in their life once or twice. I'm not saying it's good, but it will teach you certain things that will make you strong enough to lead your life. Aanya also told you, right? Not to be sad just because she is sad. Give her some time; she'll return back to how she was," he said, making me understand.

I nodded and asked a question that had been lingering on my mind for many days

"Did she tell you about that guy, Dhruv?"

He sighed and replied

"It's not my place to say; she'll only tell you. So don't stress and enjoy your wedding, okay?"

I gave a nod understanding that she'll only say it to me when the time comes.

My day passed quickly as we were all busy shopping for my wedding. I didn't have time to talk to Rehan, and I miss him. He's coming tomorrow, and I'm excited because we'll go out and spend time together before the wedding. I'll also introduce him to my friends. But for now, I'll just give him a call."

After some rings

Hello, sweetheart, how's my baby doing?" Rehan said, making me blush. Gosh, why does this guy always make me blush so much?

"Hii, I'm doing good wbu? And I miss you soo much"

"Don't worry, I'll be there until tomorrow, so just wait for a little while, and we'll be together, my future wife.

"Just stop with those cheesy lines of yours," I said, jumping, which made him chuckle. "I'm excited for our wedding."

"Those cheesy lines are only meant for you, my sweetheart. By the way, you should sleep; it's quite late."

Aww! I love it when he cares for me; I'm falling more for him.

"Ok byee, good night, love you sooo much Rehan"

"Byee luv you 2" he said and cut the call.

After ending the call, I headed towards my bed, and as soon as I lay down, I fell into a deep slumber.

Author's Pov

Here, two souls were meeting, while on the other side, the other two were unaware of what was coming, which might lead to something they didn't expect.

Aanya was thinking about how to handle herself if Rehan is in front, while on the other side, Aarav was contemplating whether he really loves her or not.

Will destiny play its game and make them fall deeply in love with each other, to the point where they can't imagine living without one another, or will destiny separate the two souls?

Everyone was up and were sitting in the living room chit chatting with each other after their breakfast except for Aarav as he had gone for some important work early in the morning..

"Aanya beta how's your work going on" Aarav's mom asked smiling at her

"It's going well and I guess I will be transferring from Delhi to Rajasthan"

"It's great, if you're coming here then you should stay in the palace" She said chirping

"Thankiuu for that aunty but I'm sorry I can't stay here, you guys don't know me I'm a complete stranger and-" Aanya said giving her a delicate smile but was cut off by dev Singh Rajvansh.

"Soo your breaking my heart angel, it's like you are considering me as a stranger" he huffed and said

"Uncle your taking me wrong you know after my father, you are like a father figure for me. Please don't say that" Aanya said panicking

"Ok we will let this matter aside temporarily but again when you come here we will discuss that" he said in a serious tone making no room for the discussion and Aanya nodded..

"Btw how's everyone in your family" she asked and the smile on Aanya's face was vanished hearing the word family

A-aunty I guess they are fine" trying her best not to stutter

"Ooh is your mom and dad coming to the wedding"

By the time Aarav came and sat on the couch joining them..

"Sorry to say aunty but that person is not my dad and I don't know about my mom is gonna come or not" she said trying not to be rude and the others were confused except Aisha and dev as they knew that she didn't have a good relation with her family after her father Yash Malhotra's death

"Aanya still your not over that, my child till when you will be stuck in the past" dev said making her understand

She sighed and replied "Uncle even you know I'm Yash Malhotra's daughter not Rishi bedi's that person is my siblings father and I don't have any relation with him and I'm a selfish person because I can't give my father's place to anyone"

"Yes you are yash's daughter and will always be, ok we will let this aside and I know you don't like to talk about it ok" he assured her with a smile

"I'm sorry aunty uncle it's just I-"

"It's ok aanya I understand it is hard for you" Siya aarav's mom said assuring her.

"You know, Aanya, when you were born, your father was the happiest person. He jumped with excitement, and the very first time he saw you, the first word that came from his mouth was 'angel.' You were beautiful with those blue eyes of yours, same as your father's, baby pink lips, and red cheeks. You were your father's pride, and he always used to say, 'My Aanya will grow up into a strong and independent woman and make me proud,' " Dev said with a sad smile on his face, making Aanya emotional as it was a sensitive topic for her.

Seeing the tensed atmosphere Aarav tried to change the topic and distract aanya..

"Aisha when is your Romeo coming" asked Aarav making Aisha blush

"He'll come soon, and don't you dare scare him with your king avatar. I'm warning you."

"Oh, see, Maa, before marriage, she is already supporting him. What will happen after marriage?" he said dramatically, making everyone chuckle. He was relieved that Aanya was doing better.

As everyone was talking with each other when one of the guards came and informed us that Rehan had arrived.. everyone was excited to meet him except two - Aanya and dhruv and it was noticed by Aarav, by seeing there not soo interested face he thought why are they behaving like this..
