Chapter - 19 ʀᴇᴛᴜʀɴ

"Aanya, mom is not well please come fast" I heard my sister saying.

"What??"

"Yes her condition is serious and we are in Jaipur, she wants to see you" she said as if crying.

I cut the call and rushed towards the airport as I had to go to Jaipur. I was thinking of calling mom to inform her, but I wondered what she was doing in Jaipur.

Thank God I had already booked the flight, if not I would die out of anxiety, tho she wasn't that good to me then to she is my mom and I love her.

• JAIPUR •

I rushed out of the airport and sat in the car sent by her. The distance was making me restless, and for a second, I forgot that I was in his territory. The car halted, bringing me out of my thoughts. I opened the door and went inside the house.

There she's sitting and sipping her tea all good and fine. Was it a Joke?? A chuckle left my mouth, wow bloody actors.

"Ooh the princess has finally shown her face" Mom said with a hint of sarcasm.

"What the hell mom ?? Were you all acting?"

"Yes, to bring you here because you weren't listening to me" she said with a small smile on her face.

"For what?"

"You will be getting married soon" her voice was stern

Not again

"I'll not" I replied with the same tone as her.

"It's your late father's wish, Aanya. He always wanted you to marry him. If you love or respect your father, then get married to the guy he chose for you," she said with a hint of sorrow on her face, which she soon replaced with a neutral expression.

Dad!!

"You can even ask your dad's sister, she knows about this" she left from there, leaving me there after throwing a bomb of 'marriage' on me. I stood there numb

I don't wanna get married but it's my dad's wish, how can I deny it. I'll do this only for my dad..

I shrugged off the thoughts and headed towards the hospital. I reached and went inside searching for the deans office. Once I found I knocked on the door and went inside, he saw me and smiled

"Hello Dr Aanya, good to see you again" The man in his mid age said with a polite smile.

"Hello Dr Awasthi, it's pleasure to meet you again" Awasthi uncle was my dad's good friend, infact this hospital belongs to my father means it's mine now but my dad wanted Awasthi uncle to be the dean and here he is...

"Ooh Aanya you are, same as before but a bit changed" I chuckled at his remark

"Awasthi uncle you are still handsome as before and even more cool" I winked and handed him the documents. I talked to him for sometime and reassured that I'll be joining from tomorrow. Then I left from his office and was going towards the entrance but then I heard some voices, I turned and saw.. Jiya ??

"You know what you are called here 'An abundant princess', where is the king brother of yours, ooh I guess he doesn't care about you" A Boy in his twenties held her arms tightly and there were other 4 people surrounding them.

What nonsense!!!

"You're gonna suffer because of your brother, I'll ruin you Jiya singh Rajvansh as your brother ruined my everything" He spoke with full of vengeance and jerked her harshly causing her to fall on the ground, a sob left from her mouth.

"Yaah, what do you think you guys are doing with her" I yelled and walked towards them.

"Aanya di you??" I helped her to get up and she was surprised seeing me here. Why not ??? She's seeing me after 2 freaking years

"You stay out of our matter" The boy who pushed her said.

"You better stay within your limits, or else you'll be walked out of here. Oh no, wait, I'll make sure you get kicked out of here," I said with a stern voice.

He chuckled and replied "Who do you think you are ? Stop interfering in my matters and get the fuck out of here"

"Call the dean here" I said to the nurse who was watching us from far, she nodded and rushed from there.

In no time he was here and asked what happened "Mr Awasthi I didn't expect that these type of people are working here"

He frowned and I explained him everything "I guess this is going from a long time"

"Who do you think you are??" The boy said

"The one who can remove you from this hospital" I replied

They all gulped and a chuckle left from my mouth — Bloody bullies.

"I'll make sure you guys get punished for what you've done" With that I took jiya with me and left from there.

"Jiya are you fine" I asked as she looked at me with a small smile.

"Thank you for rescuing from there, but please don't punish Ishaan" she said in a low voice, she wasn't like this before. I guess a lot changed in these two years.

"Ishaan??"

"The one who pushed me, he doesn't bullies me but the others do they made my life hell" she defended that guy Ishaan

"But he's at the fault, how can he watch you getting bullied that too when his own friends are bullying you" It's disgusting how can they bully a girl and how can they stop soo low..

"It's ok I deserve it, he didn't save me and was watching this, I don't deserve his help because I'm Aarav singh Rajvansh's sister. He lost his everything because of my brother" she said with a neutral expression.

"What happened in these two years Jiya? He cares for you more than anything, I myself had seen he loves, How will Aarav let them bully you?" It's confusing why will he let any harm around his baby sister..

"Aanya di, things don't remain the same. My brother, the king, Aarav Singh Rajvansh, has changed. He doesn't even care to know if his princess, his baby sister, is alive or not," she said, tears streaming down her face.

"Ook we'll go to my apartment and talk there ok, inform someone that you'll be with me" She nodded and went rode towards my apartment as dhruv had done every arrangement before I came here.

• My Apartment •

We reached and went inside, I made her on the couch and gave some water for her to relax.

She sighed and said, "After Aisha Di's wedding, everything changed. Aarav Bhai, Atharva bhai, Vihaan Bhai, and Aarohi, everyone changed. I thought Bhai's late working hours and his responsibilities as king were the reasons for his change. But after two months at university, when the bullying started, I tried telling my brother, but he avoided meeting me or anyone. I even tried talking to the others, but they were all busy with their own lives. Bhai became cold, rude, and ruthless, getting angry over the smallest things and unable to tolerate a single mistake. This worried Maa Sa; she's always looking after him, caring for him, making sure he's okay."

"What about uncle, did you said this to him??"I asked with hope..

How can Aarav do that... Wasn't I enough to break that he broke his sister..

"After the wedding, Dad and Chachu left for London for some work, and they’ve been there ever since. I wish Dad were here; he's the only one who cares for me, no matter what. I thought of telling him, but I couldn't, knowing he was already stressed there. Even Chachi was busy, handling both Mom's and her own work. The guards assigned for my safety inside the college were removed, leaving only the regular ones outside. I don't understand why Bhai Sa is behaving like this. At this moment, he doesn’t feel like the brother who used to love me."

She cried, releasing the pain she had kept inside for two years, the suffering and everything she had endured. Even I had tears in my eyes, wondering how people could be so cruel as to ignore this poor soul.

"You know di, I'm suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. I'm scared of darkness to the extent that it may kill me, I feel so helpless. Sometimes I feel like to kill myself but I can't because I can't see my parents in pain." I can understand her it is a terrible feeling when you get these attacks you feel breathless and she is soo young to bear this..

"You know what Jiya, you are a strong women. You've bared it all and bearing it till now. Don't worry I'll help to come out of this and I'm there for you. I'll always be there for you if you see around." I said assuring her.

She said me everything how those bullies had locked her in a dark class room, where she begged them to open it but they left her there. From there she was a Nyctophobic, a miserable experience of life. And her panic attacks and anxiety attacks were increased by seeing her families behaviour towards her.

After sometime I made her sleep as it was night and it was very long day and hectic one. She was sleeping next to me, she's cute like a baby.

How can people ignore such a sweetheart

Aarav you broke my heart but you shouldn't have done this to her.

I'll make sure to protect her and help her to come out of her misery.

Not all get the chance to heal a person who is tired, mentally tired and is in pain. She needs to heal and she will..
