Unscripted Moments
Playboy's Heart
Chapter 6
The day that Sky and his classmate have to host a show for the audience has arrived. Everyone in the class have been rehearsing their lines and practicing their timing for weeks, but now that the day has come, there's a sense of pressure to make everything perfect.
Sky was the one who has to be on stage but here is Nani got excited, too. Win also come along too. Since, Prim also has to do a show on the stage, too. but Sky and Prim doesn't share the same show.
Win notices Nani's excitement in his eyes and playfully teases him. "Nani, calm down. You're not the one who needs to go on stage,"
"Besides, he is an actor, this show is just a small task to him," Win adds with a knowing smile, poking a little fun at Nani's excitement. Nani chuckles softly, but there's a hint of seriousness in his eyes as he watches Sky get ready near the stage.
Sky and his class begin their show, and Nani and Win enjoy every moment of it. Both of them are thoroughly impressed by Sky's acting skills. Nani can't help but watch with a mix of pride and admiration.
Win leans over to Nani, a grin on his face. "See, I told you your puppy'd do great," he says, his voice full of pride.
Nani shot a glare at Win when he teasingly called Sky a "puppy," but his eyes still shone with excitement as he turned his attention back to the stage.
During the last part of the show, , Nani doesn't realise what's coming until the moment arrives.
Nani's heart nearly dropped when he saw Sky lean in and kiss June, the female lead, during the last part of the show. His jaw tightened as he tried to process the scene, but his gaze remained fixed on Sky, unable to look away.
Win noticed the change in Nani's reaction and smirked knowingly. "It's just acting, Nani. Don't take it too seriously," he teased, though his voice was gentle.
Nani, however, didn't respond, his emotions swirling as the performance drew to a close.
As the applause thundered through the auditorium, Nani remained seated, his hands clasped tightly together. His mind replayed the moment of the kiss over and over again, each time stirring an uneasy feeling in his chest. He tried to reason with himselfâit was just acting, part of the script, nothing personal.
His excitement from earlier had been replaced with a subtle yet undeniable ache. The sight of Sky, so effortlessly charming on stage, sharing an intimate moment with someone elseâscripted or notâwas harder to swallow than he expected.
Win nudged him lightly. "Nani, you okay? You've gone quiet."
Nani trying to brush it off. "Yeah, just... thinking about the performance. Sky was really good," he said, his voice a little too steady, like he was convincing himself as much as Win.
But deep down, Nani couldn't deny the truth. Watching Sky shine so brightly in a world that seemed to adore him was both inspiring and bittersweet.
Nani really proud of the way Sky commanded the stage, captivating everyone with his presence. In that moment, Sky seemed untouchable, like a star shining so brightly that no one could look away.
But Nani felt an unfamiliar fragilityâa growing fear that the person he was starting to care for might be slipping further out of reach. And the sight of Sky sharing a kiss with someone else, even as part of a performance, was something Nani couldn't ignore. No matter how much he tried to rationalize it, the truth was clear: he didn't like it.
Win's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. "Come on, Nani. Let's go congratulate him."
Nani hesitated for a moment before standing, forcing a smile. "Yeah, let's go," he said, his heart heavy with the weight of feelings he was only beginning to understand. He didn't fully understand what he was feeling yet, but one thing was clearâhis emotions for Sky were growing, and with them, the fear of losing something he hadn't even fully claimed.
"Sky, Prim!" Win shouted, pushing his way through the crowded auditorium. Nani followed closely behind.
Win waved them over with a broad grin. "Hey, great job up there! You both were amazing," he called out, clearly thrilled by the performance.
Nani walked toward Prim and hugged her tightly, just as he always did. "You really did a great job, Prim. Our big star," he said with genuine affection in his voice.
Prim returned the hug with a grateful smile. "Thanks for being here to support us," she said warmly. Nani hugged her again, feeling a sense of comfort in the familiar gesture, but beneath it all, a storm of conflicting emotions stirred inside him.
Sky smiled widely as he saw how proud Nani was of Prim's performance. When Nani turned back, Sky hoped for a hug from him too. But Nani stared at him a little too long, a mix of emotions crossing his face.
Then, without a word, Nani reached for the flower that Sky was holding in his hand and handed it to Win. Sky blinked in surprise, but before he could say anything, Nani took Sky's hand and began to walk away with a purposeful stride.
"What's wrong with Nani, P Win?" Prim asked in a curious tone, looking over at Win with a concerned expression.
Win didn't say anything in response, just smiled knowingly at Prim. He understood exactly why Nani was behaving the way he wasâjealousy was written all over Nani's face.
Even Sky Confused, he followed along, trying to keep up with Nani's quick pace. "Where are we going?" Sky asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
Nani didn't reply immediately, his eyes fixed on the path ahead. It was like he needed to get away, to find some space to process everything that had just happened.
Nani guides Sky into the men's restroom, Once inside, he gently but firmly pushes Sky towards one of the bathroom and steps in after him, locking the door behind them.
Sky's eyes widen with surprise as he watches Nani lock them in. he starts to ask, but Nani cuts him off with a serious expression.
"We need to talk," Nani says, his voice low and intense. "Why didn't you tell me you had to kiss June?"
Sky's brow furrows with confusion and concern. "Nani, it's not what you think. It was just acting," he tries to explain, his tone defensive but still sincere. "It didn't mean anything more than that. You know that, right?"
"Of course, I know that." Nani snaps, his voice edged with frustration. "But I want to know why you didn't tell me."
Sky looks taken aback, scratching his head a bit. "Huh? I just thought it wasn't important," he admits, shrugging slightly. "And maybe you wouldn't care about it."
Sky said what he thought but his words only seemed to fuel Nani's frustration further. Nani's jaw tightened, his fists clenching at his sides as he took a deep breath to steady himself.
"Not important?" Nani asked, his voice sharp. "Sky, It was. To me, It was, OK?"
Sky's ââeyebrows narrow as he try to process what Nani said.
"It matters when it's about you!" Nani blurted, the words spilling out before he could stop them.
"Wait, Are you jealous that I kiss June?" Sky's eyes widened, his breath catching for a moment.
"Who said I'm jealous?" Nani shot back, even It was as clear as daylight.
"Yes, you are, Nani," Sky teased with a laugh.
Nani bit the inside of his cheek, his jaw tightening slightly as he looked at Sky. Then, a mischievous smirk tugged at his lips.
Nani stepped forward, closing the distance between them.
Sky's eyes widened in surprise as Nani leaned in, his face dangerously close. The air between them crackled with tension, Sky's confidence melting into flustered confusion.
"You talk too much," Nani murmured, his voice low and teasing, his smirk widening. "Maybe I should give you something else to think about."
Sky's breath hitched, his heart racing as he struggled to find the right words.
Before Sky could say anything, Nani closed the gap between them entirely, his boldness taking over as he leaned in and captured Sky's lips with his own.
The kiss was firm, catching Sky off guard. His eyes widened at first, but then, slowly, he melted into the moment. Nani's lips molded against Sky's with an almost electrifying heat. Sky's hands, which had been hanging limply at his sides, hesitantly came up, clutching at Nani's shirt as if to ground himself.
Nani tilted his head slightly, his lips pressing more firmly against Sky's, the kiss deepening with an intensity that left no room for hesitation. His hand slid to the back of Sky's neck, his fingers threading through the soft strands of Sky's hair.
The kiss grew deeper, Nani's lips parting slightly as he dared to brush his tongue against Sky's bottom lipâa silent, teasing question that left Sky trembling. Sky hesitated for only a moment before giving in, his lips parting, allowing Nani to explore further. As they are kissing, Nani's knees felt weak, his entire body leaning into Sky's for support.
Sky realizing that, without even thinking , still lost in the kiss, he had lifted Nani off the ground. Nani's legs were wrapped securely around his waist as if Nani weighed nothing at all. Nani wrapped his arms naturally looped around Sky's neck.
The moment the kiss broke, Their faces were inches apart, and Sky could see the mix of surprise and delight in Nani's eyes.
"You really don't make things easy, do you?" Nani teased, his voice low and playful, the breathlessness from the kiss still lingering between them. His fingers traced a light path along Sky's jaw, his touch gentle but full of purpose.
Sky swallowed, his pulse racing as he looked at Nani, trying to steady his breath. "I didn't mean toâ" Sky started, but Nani cut him off, his lips curling into a slow, knowing grin.
"Don't apologize," Nani murmured, his voice warm against Sky's ear as he leaned in, his lips brushing lightly against Sky's once more.
Sky's chest tightened at the words, his arms holding Nani even tighter. Every inch of him was aware of the way Nani's body felt pressed against his, the warmth of his skin, the softness of his lips.
Nani's hands slid down Sky's neck to his shoulders, fingers digging into his skin as he steadied himself, his lips claiming Sky's , this time with a hunger that left no room for uncertainty.
Nani's body pressed firmly against his, the kiss deepening with a sense of urgency that matched the racing of Sky's heart.
Sky was lost in it, his hands moving to hold Nani more securely.
When the kiss finally broke again, both of them were breathless, as they shared the same shaky breaths. Sky's hands trembled slightly as they rested at Nani's back, his fingers splayed across the warmth of Nani's skin.
Sky's eyes fluttered open, his cheeks flushed, his lips slightly swollen from the kiss. Sky's heart was racing so loudly he was sure Nani could hear it. his lips trembling as he tried to find wordsâbut they refused to come. Sky was completely and utterly speechless.
Nani leaned back slightly, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he observed Sky's flustered state. "Seem like some puppy got scared already," he teased.
Sky's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of red at the teasing, and he quickly looked away, but not before catching Nani's eyes. "I-I'm not scared,"
Nani chuckled softly, His hand reached out, brushing a stray lock of hair from Sky's forehead. He couldn't help himself but drop an kiss on Sky nose quickly.
"You sure you're not scared?" Nani asked again, his voice low and teasing.
Nani said softly. "Because this... it's just the beginning." Nani said softly
Sky's heart fluttered at his words, his mind racing with the implications of what Nani meant.
"let's get out of here before Win comes looking for us."Â Nani said, his mischievous smile returning.
Sky laughed softly, He nodded, put Nani down and stepping back slightly to fix his shirt and straighten himself. But before he could move too far, Nani reached out and caught his wrist, pulling him back into a quick kiss.
Sky smiled against Nani's lips, feeling the warmth spread through him once again. "You really can't help yourself, can you?"
Nani only smirked. "Maybe not. But I think you like it." Sky shook his head, though the smile never left his face.
