Tomorrow?

Playboy's Heart

Chapter 25

Nani entered the location into Sky's car navigation system, his movements calm and deliberate.

"Where are we going?" Sky asked, glancing at him with a curious tilt of his head.

"Just follow the route." Nani replied gently, his voice steady yet reassuring.

Sky watched him for a moment, Deciding not to push further, he nodded and focused on driving.

As they approached their destination, Sky's brows furrowed in confusion. The Changkham mansion came into view, standing tall and majestic. The mansion was breathtaking, a perfect blend of elegance and power, every detail meticulously designed.

Sky parked the car, his voice soft and hesitant. "Why are we here?"

Nani unclipped his seatbelt, turning to look at Sky with a mix of determination and warmth. "It's time to settle everything," he said gently.

Sky's eyes widened slightly, but he didn't say anything. He could feel the importance of this moment, the gravity of where they were.

Nani stepped out of the car, pausing briefly to take a deep breath. Then he walked around to Sky's side.  Without a word, Nani reached for Sky's hand, holding it firmly but gently, as though anchoring him.

"Come with me." Nani said, his tone soft but steady, his eyes meeting Sky's. Sky nodded, his hand resting securely in Nani's as they began walking toward the heart of the Changkham mansion.

As they reached the mansion, Nani's men immediately noticed his arrival. Without hesitation, they showed their respect, addressing him with reverence.

"Khun Nani," they said, their tone full of respect.

Sky, a little taken aback, couldn't help but feel a mixture of awe and surprise. He had always known that Nani came from a powerful family, but seeing it so clearly, right in front of him, was something entirely different. The weight of it settled in as Sky realized just how much Nani was a part of something much bigger than he'd imagined.

Nani simply nodded at them, his expression serene. yet his hand never left Sky's.

The way Nani moved, with such quiet confidence and care, that made everything feel safe, even in a place so unfamiliar. Nani's presence, more than anything, made Sky feel that everything would be okay.

Mrs. Hari and Boom were seated comfortably on the luxurious couch in the living room when they noticed the arrival of Nani and Sky. Both of them looked up in surprise, clearly not expecting company at this hour.

"Sky, Nani, why didn't you tell me you'd be coming?" Mrs. Hari asked, her voice warm but with a hint of surprise.

Nani, without missing a beat, gave her a soft smile. "Mom, can you keep Sky company for a bit? I need to talk with Dad." He turned to Boom, his older brother, who was sitting across the room, a knowing smirk already forming on his face.

Boom's eyes softened, a mix of amusement and curiosity in his gaze. "Alright, alright, I'll behave," he said with a teasing smile at Sky. Though he was trying to play it cool, the curiosity was clear in his eyes. He'd heard the rumors, of course, but seeing Sky there with Nani... it felt different. The whole situation was much more real now.

Mrs. Hari smiled warmly at Sky, patting the space beside her on the couch. "Come, Sky, sit with me," she said, her tone full of warmth and care.

Sky hesitated for a brief moment, glancing at Nani for reassurance. Nani smiled at him gently, his eyes soft with understanding. He gave a small nod, encouraging Sky to join her. Sky returned the smile and walked over to sit beside Mrs. Hari, settling comfortably next to her.

As Nani walked toward his father's study, he didn't look back. He knew he had to clear things up with his father, to put an end to the mess that was threatening Sky. If he didn't do this now, Sky would be caught in the crossfire, and Nani couldn't let that happen.

Nani wasn't going to let anyone, not even his own family, put Sky through any more pain.

Nani knocked on the door. When he heard the soft invitation to enter, he opened the door and stepped inside. His father, Mr. Nirav, was sitting at his desk, looking up as Nani entered.

"Can I have a word with you, Father?" Nani's voice was calm, but there was a seriousness in it that couldn't be ignored.

Mr. Nirav, already sensing why Nani had come, nodded slowly. Nani knew this conversation wasn't going to be easy, but he couldn't wait any longer. Sky's well-being was at stake, and he needed to make his father understand.

Nani handed the proof to Mr. Nirav, his father's gaze scanning over the evidence of his men spreading rumors through popular news outlets. The weight of the situation hung heavily in the air, and Mr. Nirav's silence only added to the tension.

After a long moment, Mr. Nirav looked up, his eyes meeting Nani's, unreadable.

"I've always listened to what you've asked me to do," Nani began, his voice calm but unwavering. "But this time, I won't stand by and let Sky suffer because of your plans."

Mr. Nirav let out a small, almost dismissive laugh. Seem like His son was truly falling hard.

"So, you spread the news that you are the man in that picture and came all the way from London just for this?"Mr. Nirav asked.

Nani's gaze remained unwavering, locking eyes with his father. "I've already entrusted the remaining work to one of my trusted men. He'll handle it for me. And I didn't spread the news the way you did," Nani said, his voice firm but not harsh. "I just told the truth. Since you were the one to start this, you already know that I was really the man in that picture."

Mr. Nirav leaned back in his chair, his gaze never wavering. "Then explain to me, Nani. Why should I listen to you? Why should I allow him to date you?"

"I'm not asking for your permission to date him, Father. I've already proposed." He paused, letting the words settle between them. "But if you really intend to hurt him... you need to understand that you're not just hurting him, you're hurting me too. My heart is already with him, and I won't let anyone, not even you, tear that apart."

The room seemed to hold its breath for a moment, the weight of Nani's words hanging in the air. Mr. Nirav, usually so composed, looked at his son with an expression that was hard to read.

Finally, Mr. Nirav's voice broke the silence. "You're sure about this?" he asked, his tone softer now, less guarded.

Nani nodded firmly. "I'm sure. And I will do whatever it takes to protect him." Mr. Nirav studied his son for a moment longer.

"Father, you've done everything you could to protect Mom from her own family. Now I'm in the same position as you were when you were young, fighting for the woman you love. If you're still going to hurt him, then I'll do what you did in the past to protect the one I love."

The weight of Nani's words hung in the air, thick with the realization of the deep connection between father and son, both standing in the same place, fighting for love.

Nani stood tall, unwavering in his stance. He had made his choice, and he was willing to stand by it, no matter the cost.

Before Nani could leave the room, Mr. Nirav's voice stopped him. "I never wanted you to have to choose between family and love," he said, his tone softer than before. "If your heart is truly with him, I won't stand in your way. And bring him to meet me properly next time."

Nani froze, the weight of his father's words settling deep within him. Slowly, he turned, locking eyes with his father. There was an unspoken understanding, a subtle shift in the air that spoke volumes. Nani had fought for this moment, and now, in a way, it felt like he had won his father's approval.

Nani's voice was quieter, tinged with gratitude. "Thank you, Father."

Mr. Nirav's gaze softened, and he nodded back, his eyes filled with a quiet pride and a deep, unspoken understanding.

Nani rushed down to the living room, his eyes scanning the space, but Sky was nowhere to be found. Only Boom remained, lounging casually on the couch.

"Mom's already gone to sleep," Boom teased, glancing up at Nani with a smirk. "Next time, when you bring your boyfriend here, try to choose daytime. Don't want to surprise everyone in the middle of the night, Nani."

Nani didn't say a word, but a playful smile tugged at his lips. He silently crept up behind Boom, wrapping his arm around his brother's neck in a mock chokehold.

Boom let out a startled laugh. "What's this, huh? Think you can take me down like this?"

Nani only smirked, tightening his playful grip for a moment before letting go. "Just reminding you who's boss around here."

Boom rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress a chuckle. "You're lucky I'm not in the mood for a fight, little brother."

Nani released his grip on Boom's neck and stepped back, folding his arms as he glanced down at his brother. Boom turned to face him, still sitting comfortably on the couch, his expression a mix of curiosity and amusement.

"Seems like you're really serious about this actor this time," Boom said, his tone light but with a hint of concern.

Nani shot him a pointed look, his voice firm. "He has a name, alright? And don't talk like that around him. He might think I used to date other actors, too."

Boom raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You didn't?" he asked, teasing.

Nani sighed, a bit frustrated but still gentle. "I did. That's why I was scared, okay?" He paused, his face softening. "I just... I don't want him to think I'm a player."

Boom relaxed into the couch, smiling. "He doesn't seem like someone who would jump to conclusions. But looks like he's got you wrapped around his finger."

Nani rolled his eyes, feeling both amused and a bit embarrassed. "You really know how to make me feel better, don't you?" his voice softer now. "But... seriously, I'm not a player anymore. And I don't want him to think that's who I am."

Boom gave him a knowing look, his smirk still there. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Now, go find your future husband. He might be by the lake."

Nani shaking his head. With that, Nani left the living room, heading out toward the lake, his thoughts swirling. As he walked, he couldn't help but feel the weight of the conversation with his father still lingering in the air. But right now, all he wanted was to be with Sky. He could feel the quiet pull in his chest.

As he reached the lake, he saw Sky sitting there, looking out at the water, lost in thought. The moonlight cast a soft glow over him, making him look even more peaceful than usual. Nani approached quietly, not wanting to startle him, but Sky seemed to sense his presence anyway. He turned around, offering Nani a gentle smile.

Nani sitting down beside him. "What are you thinking about?"

Sky shrugged lightly, his smile warm but a little distant. "Just... everything. But mostly about you." Nani gently nudged Sky's shoulder with his own.

"Sky, have you ever wonder what will happen if we didn't met?" Nani.

Sky turned his head slightly, his eyes soft as they met Nani's. "I didn't." he said gently, his voice sincere. "Because I know I'll find you in every universe."

He leaned in and kissed Nani softly on the ear, a tender gesture that made Nani's ear flush with warmth. Nani immediately felt a heat rise to his cheeks, and he playfully nudged Sky's shoulder.

"Just answer with your words," Nani grumbled, trying to sound serious, but his actions betrayed him. He drop his head on Sky's shoulder as he look at the moon.

Sky chuckled softly, feeling the warmth of Nani's embrace, and gave him a reassuring smile. "Sorry, couldn't help myself." he whispered, raised his hand and wrapped it around Nani's waist, pulling him closer as they sat together.

Nani's heart skipped a beat as Sky pulled him closer, their bodies naturally leaning into each other. The warmth of Sky's hand on his waist sent a pleasant shiver through him, and he couldn't help but smile softly, despite his earlier grumbling.

"Sky." Nani murmured, but his voice was gentle.

"Hmm." Sky replied as he leaned his head lightly on top of Nani's.

"Should we get married tomorrow?" Nani asked, his voice playful yet filled with a quiet sincerity that made his heart race a little.

Sky couldn't help but laugh, the sound light and full of affection as he pulled back just slightly to look at Nani. "Tomorrow?" he teased gently, his eyes sparkling with warmth.

Nani's smile widened, fingers brushing against Sky's hand with ease. "Well, if it were up to me, I'd marry you tomorrow without a second thought."

Sky raised an eyebrow, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Then where do you want to get married?"

Nani thought for a moment, his expression casual but thoughtful. "What about Lake Como, Italy?"

Sky chuckled, a little surprised. "You really want to get married tomorrow? And why Lake Como?"

Nani shrugged, his tone playful. "Why not? It's beautiful, peaceful, and, honestly, it seems like the kind of place where people can get married without all the chaos. And if I'm going to make the biggest promise of my life, I'd want it to be in a place that feels as special as the moment itself."

Sky's heart skipped a beat, moved by Nani's words. "You're thinking about all of this so seriously."

Nani's eyes softened, and he brushed a stray lock of hair from Sky's face. "Of course I'm serious. I wouldn't joke about something like this, especially with you.Idiot."

Sky grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Then should we start thinking about how many kids we want?"

Nani shot him glare. "You're really a mood killer, puppy?"

Sky laughed, unbothered. "What? I'm serious! We could adopt, and if you were a woman, you'd probably be pregnant by now."

Nani raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Well, lucky for you, I'm not."

They both burst into laughter, the playful banter between them light and full of warmth.
