Chapter 66 Sleeping With Him Amanda quickly went to the restroom and returned with a basin of cold water to wipe down Elliot. As she started to clean him, she couldn’t help but chuckle bitterly.

Never in her life, had anyone else ever made her tend to them, whether voluntarily or involuntarily.

Placing a hand on Elliot’s face, the look on Amanda’s face softened as she gently stroked his cheek. If Elliot was sober, he would never allow her to be this close to him, not to talk of placing a hand on his cheek.

Leaning forward, she gently placed her head on his chest and listened to his firm heartbeat as a small smile appeared on her face.

Placing a hand on her chest, she pursed her lips, believing their heartbeats to be synchronized.

At that moment, a murmur suddenly escaped Elliot’s lips.

Clear and unmistakable, it was just a single word which was enough to shatter the pleasant thoughts in Amanda’s head.

Corynn.

Elliot, totally drunk, had just called out Corynn’s name!

Amanda shot up from the bed like she had been electrocuted. Grunting, Elliot began to restlessly call out for Corynn, over and over again, which caused Amanda’s eyes to well up with tears.

Each time he mentioned her name, it was like a dagger was sent through her heart.

With her blood boiling with a mixture of pain and anger, Amanda grabbed the water basin and violently threw it off the bed, creating a loud crash.

However, Elliot didn’t move a bit, oblivious to what was happening as he was deep in his drunken stupor.

Tearing her eyes off Elliot, Amanda stormed to the bathroom and repeatedly splashed cold water on her face, eager to dispel the murderous thoughts that were getting aroused in her head.

At that moment, a call came in on her phone.

Bringing it out of her pocket, she saw that it was Owen.

He now called her almost every day due to her and Elliot’s fast–approaching marriage, especially beca was well aware that she always found it difficult to contact Elliot lately.

ne “Tell me, Amanda, were you able to find Elliot?” Owen asked from the other end.

Amanda swallowed and gave him a muffled response.

< Chapter 66 Sleeping With Him Immediately sensing that all wasn’t right, Owen quickly asked, “What happened? What did Elliot do again?”

The moment she heard this, Amanda broke down in tears and replied, “He got himself drunk all because of Corynn, and while I was caring for him, he wouldn’t stop calling out her name! What do you suggest I do, Owen?”

Owen clenched his fist when he heard this. Clearing his throat, he said reassuringly to Amanda, “Don’t be saddened by this, okay? Elliot has simply presented you with a wonderful opportunity.”

“An opportunity?” Amanda muttered confusingly. What opportunity had Elliot granted to her by breaking her heart?

“You know very well that Elliot would never allow you near him when he is sober, right? But now that he is drunk, you can do what you like with him when he is unconscious. Get him to impregnate you, and he will have no choice but to take responsibility for you,” Owen explained.

Biting her lip, Amanda returned to the bedside and looked down at Elliot, unsure of whether to go on with Owen’s advice or not.

If she carries out such an act, Elliot will definitely despise her more.

In the three years that they had been together, Elliot had never gotten intimate with her, clearly staying celibate for Corynn.

But then, if she failed to act now and things continued to be the way they were, there was a high probability that Elliot would eventually call off their engagement.

“Trust me, Amanda, you can’t afford to waste this opportunity. Do not hesitate!” Owen urged.

“I won’t hesitate, Owen. Thanks for everything,” Amanda said firmly and tightened her grip on her phone, determined to do what she felt needed to be done.

She simply couldn’t afford to lose Elliot.

Regardless of whether Elliot eventually fell in love with her or not, she wanted an unbreakable bond that would bind their lives together.

With that in mind, Amanda cut the call, put the phone down, and began to undress.

For as long as she could remember, she had always wanted to sleep with Elliot, but he hadn’t even as much as touched her.

However, he had no qualms about sleeping with Corynn.

Jealousy surged through her blood and made her unconsciously hiss.

As she continued to get undressed, Amanda began to tremble with excitement. As long as she gets pregnant, Elliot’s reaction afterward will be irrelevant. He would have to take responsibility for her regardless of what he feels.

Once she was fully naked, Amanda climbed into bed and slowly moved closer to Elliot.

After getting into an intimate position with him, she picked up her phone and took a couple of photos together.
