~3~

My Alarm rang through my ears making me aware that I was still at my parent's house.

I sat up rubbing my head and I saw Peyton still sleeping on the couch. I knew my mom would wake her up when it was time for her to so I got up slipped my shoes on and grabbed my keys.

I made my way to my apartment, yesterday I walked here mainly because I didn't have a car and Scarlett had to take her car to work.

I didn't live that far anyway it was only about a 15 minute walk, Plus I needed the exercise anyway.

after my walk home I arrived around 6:45 which means I have about 50 minutes to get ready and get to class.

I headed to my bathroom and turned on the shower making sure it was perfect temperature before getting in.

afterwards I wrapped myself in my robe and I brushed my teeth and did skincare.

Today I went with a more basic outfit, A black cropped long sleeve shirt with light grey sweatpants and my uggs to go along with it.

I left my curls down and I slipped rings on my fingers and 2 hair ties on my wrist just in case I wanted to put my hair up throughout the day.

I glanced on the clock which read '7:25'. I grabbed my book bag and rushed out the door I had about 10 more minutes to get to class.

I sat exactly where I sat yesterday and miyka instantly started talking to me as her friend wasn't here.

" hey how was your first day yesterday" she questioned. " it was good I'm enjoying my classes so far how about you" she smiled and nodded in agreement.

" same, I definitely thought it would be hard since it's my first year in college but so far so good" replied and just after she said that ms.Dakota comes in.

She sat her bag on her desk before she turned around her gaze looking around at everyone.

except it lingered a little longer on mines it was very subtle but I noticed it.

" The project is due in a week and I want you all to make a presentation on your history and culture" she said as she rubbed her hands together.

" any questions" she raised an eyebrow and lots of hands went up in the air and she sighed rolling her eyes.

" you start" she said pointing to one of the girls in the front row. As she answered their question i took the time to see what she was wearing.

In a friendly manner not like that.

she has on a black bodysuit with black flared dress pants and black YSL heels.

I knew her feet were bound to be aching by the end of the day, I remember when I wore my white ones to a family dinner and when I got home I made Scarlett rub my feet.

I smiled at the memory, Scarlett has always been such a great best friend at this point she's a sister.

" Okay everybody quiet so I can explain further" Ms.Dakota said making all the whispering quiet.

"Hey do you have free class next period maybe we can go and grab some coffee" miyka whispered.

" I usually go with my bestfriend Scarlett, But i'm sure she wouldn't mind if you tag along" she smiled and nodded just as she was about to say something else a sharp voice cut us off.

"girls I asked for everyone to be silent" Ms.Dakota glared at us before turning her attention back to the board.

" where were you thinking we should go" Miyka asked clearly not phased by ms Dakota's words.

" we usually go to the caffeine oasis it's a really cute shop" I replied making her nod but then I heard her voice again.

" you can stay after school" Ms Dakota said from the front of the room with a harsh glare. " I thought you said this isn't elementary why do I still stay after school" The words flew out my mouth so fast I didn't even realize what I said.

My hand instantly clasped onto my mouth but it was obviously too late.

" Would you like to make it the rest of the week" she gritted through her teeth. " No, sorry " I said looking elsewhere.

" I'll probably just walk home afterwards don't worry" I said as I got out of scarlett's car she brought me back for my detention.

I left my book bag in her front seat just bringing my

MacBook and my ice coffee with cold foam on the top.

I walked towards the classroom seeing the door ajar, I knocked twice before pushing the door open.

She was sitting at her desk typing away not paying me any attention. I sat down at a desk not too far away from hers but not too close either.

we both sat there in a comfortable silence both of us typing away on our computers not paying each other any mind.

" How old are you" I questioned as I looked at her, Her gaze instantly snapped up from her screen towards me.

" you never ask a woman how old she is" She replied turning her attention back to her screen. " why not" she rolled her eyes.

"because it's rude, would you like me to ask you how old you are" she said not looking away from her screen.

" I'm 20" I shrugged it wasn't a big deal to me her eyes quickly gazed towards me before they snapped right back to her screen.

" what's your name then" she let out a sigh looking towards me again. "Avery" she said it lowly I  barley heard it.

" oh that's cool my name is Arabella" I could see as the corner of her lips twitched she was fighting a smile.

But she was good at it because she didn't her face stayed the same.

The bell rung letting me know it was time for me to leave.

I grabbed my MacBook and my now empty coffee and left the room I threw the cup into a trash bin that was in the hallway.

As I pushed the door open I realized it was pouring.

I sighed before heading out I didn't have any jacket but thank goodness I decided against straightening my hair.

I started my walk, My MacBook will be fine I have it in its case and it won't have any problem's.

I was walking when a car slowly pulled up next to me.

" Get in" I recognized the accent from anywhere. " i'm fine i don't live that far" I replied as I continued to walk.

"Arabella get in the car" her voice was firmer now I rolled my eyes before walking around her car and getting into the front seat.

she had a pretty nice car it's a Audi Q3 Quattro in black.

I buckled my seat belt and crossed my arms. " I just saved you from the rain there's no way you have an attitude right now" she rolled her eyes at me.

" I don't have an attitude i'm just sitting here" I huffed. " watch your tone" she glared at me before she drove off.

" I need to pick Calista up and then we will take you home" she said, That made me smile I love seeing that little girl.

I turned my attention to Avery who looked focused, Her veins showing as she gripped the wheel tightly with one hand.

what is wrong with me.

I turned my attention out the window watching as the rain poured down the windows.

We pulled up to a nice looking school, Of course she would have her daughter in a private school.

Calista walked out with her teacher and she looked absolutely adorable in her black nike tracksuit outfit and her white air forces, her hair pulled back into a slick back ponytail.

Calista got into the back seat buckling her booster seat before she saw me.

"Abella!" she cheered excitedly as Avery pulled out of the parking lot.

my address was already in the gps so she started heading there.

" how was school" I asked as I turned my head to face her. " it was awesome but it was raining at recess but they took us to the gym instead and it was so fun" she explained excitedly.

" what's for dinner mommy" Calista asked making Avery look at her through the mirror.

" spaghetti" the way she said it with her accent made it 100x better.

" can Abella please come have dinner with us" Calista begged with a really cute smile, I would've gave in if I was Avery.

" Im not sure, she might be busy" Avery said. " are you busy abella" calista asked making Avery  turn and glare at me as if telling me to say yes.

But the way Calista was looking at me made my heart warm up.

My eyes darted back and forth between the girls in front of me.

"i-uh no i'm not" I said letting Calista win. I felt Avery's heavy glare on me before she focused back on the road.

" I guess she's having dinner with us" Avery said gritting her teeth making me take a deep breath.

Avery made a turn onto the freeway making a detour away from my apartment.

" yayyy I can't wait to show you my room" Calista cheered excitedly.

longer chapter this time! i was going to add Arabella going over there in this chapter but i decided to split the parts up! i hope you guys liked this chapter!
