~21~

The brightness of the sun was shining through my window and directly into my eye , making me turn over.

I instantly felt a weight on my chest making me look down, I was met with blonde curls making me remember Arabella was here.

I felt her shift, her hand landing on my exposed stomach, my shirt slightly raised throughout the night I guess.

I tried to sit up, which Arabella instantly protested.

"Baby stop" she groaned as she pushed me back down before laying her head back on my chest.

"I've got to get up" I said as I went to try and stand up again. " 5 more minutes, your warm" she mumbled as she snuggled even closer, if that was even possible.

About 10 minutes passed when I tried to get up again,  " 5 more minutesss" she said again as she tried to stop me from getting up.

" you've said that two times already, I actually need to get up princess" I said making her groan in frustration as she rolled off of me.

I got up, and walked into my bathroom and started brushing my teeth, not too long after, Arabella walked in, grabbing her tooth brush aswell.

" so what are we doing today" Arabella asked once she was finished brushing her teeth, I was in my closet looking for something to wear today.

"It's a surprise" I said making her roll her eyes, " I thought I could get you to tell me" she huffed angrily.

I ended up wearing some light washed jeans with a black crop top, and overtop I wore a grey zip up jacket.

" I need to get you home so I can get your surprise ready" I said before I connected my lips on hers quickly before pulling away, I needed to go see if Calista was awake.

I walked into her room to find the younger girl sitting in front of her toys playing with dolls.

"Calista, get ready for a bath you're going to nanas" I told the younger girl, which made her smile.

I handed her a red Nike sweat suit outfit, before letting her go off to the bathroom, for her bath.

While she was taking her bath I grabbed her Barbie book bag from out of her closet and packed it with all the clothes and toys she would need while she's at her grandmas house.

I sat the bag on her bed, before heading downstairs where I found Arabella making breakfast.

" do you want anything" Arabella asked when I walked into the kitchen. " no thank you, I'm not really hungry" I replied.

"I'll be back to pick you up in a few hours" I said as we sat outside of Arabella's apartment complex.

"Okay, drive safe, and text me when you're on your way" she said before she connected our lips.

"Kay, see you later" I mumbled before connecting our lips one more time.

Once I pulled away she got out the car, making her way up towards her apartment.

Now I have to take Calista to my mom's house.

The drive wasn't too long, only about 20 minutes .

My mom was more than happy to have Calista for the night because she doesn't see her too often.

"Calista is going to be on her best behavior mom, if she is misbehaving you can call me" I explained after I sat Calistas bag up in my old room, which is where she will be staying.

" thank you for watching her mom, I love you." I said as I pulled my mom into a hug. " always, I love spending time with little Calista" she smiled at the younger girl who was sleeping on the couch.

I left not too long after, heading to my next destination to set up my surprise.

I stopped at the store grabbing some of her favorite flowers before going back to my house to change.

I decided on wearing a black suit, because nobody is going to catch me in a dress anytime soon.

After that, I sent Arabella a message letting her know I was on my way to pick her up.

I knocked on her apartment door a few times before I heard the lock turning and the door was pulled open.

My breath was instantly caught in my throat by the sight of her.

She has on a flowy white dress, that's tied in a perfect bow in the back, and she's wearing sparkly heels to match.

Her hair is in its natural state, which is my favorite look on her.

Once I made it back up to her eyes, I caught her checking me out as well.

"Ready to go?" I asked making her eyes connect with mine. " I-yes" she said before she grabbed a book bag that was sitting next to the door.

I instantly took it out her hand, throwing it over my shoulder before taking her hand in mines.

I waited as she locked her apartment door, before heading downstairs to the lobby and out to my car.

The car ride there was mostly silent, I was nervous thinking about everything I had planned out for the night, my hand resting against her thigh.

Her hand landed on top of mine as she rubbed patterns on the palm of my hand, her gaze focused out the window.

The first stop we are at is dinner, it's this restaurant I heard of from Charlotte, it's just out of town and nobody from the university should be there.

It's over an hour away.

After dinner and chatting about anything you can think about, we were headed to the next and last surprise.

I parked my car in the parking lot of the hotel, my gaze connecting with Arabella's and I was getting more and more nervous by the second.

We headed towards the elevator her hand clasped with mine and her book bag in my opposite hand.

We made our way up to the 7th floor before heading down to room 726.

I swiped the keycard letting Arabella walk in first, I heard a little gasp come out her mouth as her hand slowly fell out of mine.

" I realized I probably should've given you these when I picked you up" I said nervously as I handed her the flowers I had brought her earlier.

There were also flowers scattered all over the floor and there were 'candles' lit leading up to the bed where it read ' will you be my girlfriend '

"I know it's really early, and I know I'm your professor which makes it so much more harder, but Arabella I've never been so sure about something in my life, You mean so much to me, when I'm around you I understand what true happiness is and everytime I look at you I see my world, I see everything I want, you brighten up my day by just saying Hi, you've truly made me a happier person then I thought I could ever be I wouldn't trade anything no matter how risky this is, your my person Arabella, and I wanted to know if you want too be my girlfriend" I said as I watched a tear drop down the side of her face.

" of course, I wouldn't want to be with anybody else" she said before I connected our lips.

The kiss quickly deepened as my hands landed on her waist pulling her closer.

Her arms immediately wrapped around my neck and her hands went to my hair.

I slowly laid her back on the bed, my lips trailing down the side of her neck.

"Please" I heard her say. I instantly stopped and pulled back so my eyes could connect with hers.

"Are you sure" I asked earning a nod from her.

" please, I need you" she added.
