'But one thing we do know, we're more than just friends'

'I should get home,' Perri shuffles slightly underneath me, waking me up. I gently grab hold of him and keep him still, I look at the Tv and the credits are rolling for the film we were originally watching.

'Stay,' I smile,

'You know you could convince me to do anything with that smile,' He grins and lays back down, lifting his arm up so I could rest my head underneath it,

'Oh your mum came in when you were asleep, she said she was going out with Malins mum and she's staying over, she wanted me to let you know when you woke up,'

'Hmm,' I mumble, showing him I heard what he said.

I wake up alone, I check my phone to see what time it was. 9:34am,

I throw my dressing gown on and dawdle downstairs rubbing my eyes and re-tying my hair.

I walk into the kitchen and see Perri and My mum sat at the table talking, I walk in and open the cupboard,

'Oh, Good morning Kace,' My mum beams, I don't understand why she is constantly in a good mood,

'Morning Kace, I didn't want to wake you,' I hear Perri say as he walks past behind me to put his cup in the sink, he walks back over and kisses me on the back of my head. I stop in my tracks and smile to myself. He didn't realise because he was cracking eggs into a bowl, but I was blushing like mad.

'You making pancakes ?' My mum hovers over my shoulder,

'Yeah do you want one,'

'Oh no, I'm fine I had some breakfast and Malins before I came home, Perri, are you making them too,' My mum looks over to Perri and sees him getting out the sugar from the cupboards,

'Yeah,' He smiles and winks at me,

She raises her eyebrows, impressed, and goes up to her room to get dressed.

I stick my hand in the bag of flour, I walk behind him casually whilst he's measuring some sugar and flick it at him, he turns around and looks me in the eye, he grabs a handful of sugar and throws it down my top.

Motherf*cker.

I grab some flour and jump on his back, rubbing it in his face.

'Right, that's it!' He shoves both of his hands into the bag of flour and chased me round the kitchen table, he tricked me and directed one way and ran another, causing me to run into him, he rubbed the flour on my face and on my top, I scream and start laughing, trying to wipe more flour onto him, but we just ended up full on wrestling in the middle of my kitchen.

'You two look like you're having fun, My mum walks in casually,

Perri and I are still in tears laughing, but we settle down and get back to our pancakes.

'Hello?' Perri whips his phone out and holds it to his ear between his head and shoulders whilst he continues to eat his pancakes,

'Wait there Mitch I'll put you on speaker,' Perri says, chewing on his food. He turns it to speaker and places it between us on the table.

'Hello?'

'Hi Mitch, you okay?'

'Yeah I was just wondering, do you wanna do something today Kace,' Perris eyes shoot open and he looked alarmed,

'Like the four of us?' He immediately relaxes and took another bite out of his pancake,

I looked at him to see what he thought, he nods and winks,

'Yeah sure,' I smile, even though he couldn't see,

'Okay well I'm picking Malin up in about an hour, do you guys need a lift?'

'Erm yeah, we may aswell all go together,' Perri suggests, buttering his third pancake, I start laughing and he smiles at me and keeps looking at me whilst he takes a bite, making me laugh even more,

'Be careful, I would eat all of these,' I move the plate away and he follows it with his eyes.

'Oh my God,' I get up and put the plate in the fridge,

'Okay Mitch, We'll have to go and get ready,' Perri ends the call and we both go upstairs,

I go into the bathroom to get changed, I just about manage to pull my shorts on and I hear my phone ringing, without even thinking I walk into the bedroom and see Perri stood there in his boxers,'

'Oh erm, I'm sorry,' I chuckle and turn to walk back out of the room

'Kace, don't worry about it,' He laughs, 'Answer your phone,'

I approach my phone and see a facetime call from Malin, I reach my Ipad and answer it on there,

'Hey B, Oh and erm, hey Pel,' He's still stood in his boxers, he didn't think he could be seen on camera, He's got one foot into his jeans and he tries to shuffle out of view but he trips over my rug and ends up falling onto the floor, still struggling to get his jeans on,

I burst out laughing, well practically crying, I go to help him up but I end up collapsing onto the floor, creased with laughter.

I look over to my screen and see that Malin is also laughing, however she also looks confused. I suppose I should explain. I tell her about how I walked in on Perri because she rang me, I then saw it click on her face and she began to laugh again.

'So did you two-'

'No!' I shout

'But did you at least-'

'Yes, we kissed,' Perri says, pulling his top over his head,

'And are you two-'

'We don't really know what we are at the minute,' I chuckle,

'But one thing we do know,' Perri adds, 'It's more than just friends,'

I stay on facetime to Malin whilst we get ready so were not wearing the same clothes or makeup, I go for gold eyeshadow and nude lipstick, she goes subtle pinks with a pale pink lipstic

'You look beautiful,' Perri says, his reflection appearing in the mirror, wrapping his arms around me whilst I apply my lipstick,

'You don't look so bad yourself,' I chuckle,

Who was I kidding! He looked... Oh my god i can't even...

I turn around and kiss him on the cheek, getting lipstick on his face. He squirms and tries to rub it off, I lick my thumb and rub it off his cheek, laughing.

'Should we take a selfie and upload it,'

'What and tell everyone about us?'

'Yeah, why not,' He unlocks his phone and opens snapchat,

'You want to tell everyone?...' I continue questioning,

'Kacey, what are you worrying about,' He sits next to me,

'Well, I just don't want to get hate,' I sigh,

'Okay well let's take a photo, we'll decide to upload it later?'

'Actually, let's just do it,'

'Do what? Ugh, I'm getting changed out of this top looks terrible,' He scoffs and gets another top out of his bag,

'Do you carry clothes everywhere with you?'

'Erm yeah,'He chuckles, 'You never know when you need them, he points his finger down to my bedroom floor,

'Fair enough...PEL LOOK!' He looks up at me and I get a picture of him with no top on snapchat,

'Kacey man! You scared the life out of me,' He looks around and puts his hand on his heart,

I upload the photo to snapchat and slide off my bed to put my shoes on, I walk towards Perri and he turns us both to take a selfie in the mirror, he adds the key emoji, the boy and girl emoji and the kissy face emoji. He uploads it to snapchat and before his notifications blow up he stuffs his phone in his back pocket and throws on his jacket,

'No matter what anyone says Kace,' He places his hand inside mine, 'It will never change the way I feel about you,' He gives me a warm smile and we leave the house and enter Mitch's' car still holding hands. Perri and I get in the back and Mal, gets in the front.

'So are you guys-'

'YES!'

'She's my girlfriend!' Perri adds on the end, he immediately realises what he just said and his face turns bright red. To prevent any more humiliation, I squeeze his hand reassuringly to let him know it's okay,

'So where are we heading,' Mitch asks, turning down the music,

'Well it's a nice day, what about the beach?' Perri suggests

'Yeah, sounds good,' Malin agrees,

Mitch and I both agree, he turns the music up and we have a conversation.

Mal and Mitch seem to hold a small talk among themselves so I use this an excuse to make a proposal to Perri,

'We need a song,' I attract his attention,

'I know,' He smiles 'But it has to actually mean something to the both of us,'

'Give it some time,' I smile and lock my fingers between his, he looks down at our hands and his smile grows.
