Like it was something he wanted to do for a long time...

'So when did he say we was coming ?' Mal asks, applying her lipstick,

'Erm he should be here any minute n-' There was a knock on the door,

'See,' I winked, 'I told you,' I ran down the stairs and opened the door to Perri and Mitch,

Mitch went to open his mouth but I stopped him,

'She's ready, I'll go and get her,'

'Thank you,' He smiled gratefully.

I ran up the stairs and burst the door open,

'It's Mitch,'

'Oh my god, kacey do I look okay, Do I look like a try hard ?!'

'Mal shut up! You look amazing, he's going to be over the moon,'

She walked over and gave me hug,

'Thank you Kace, for everything,' She whispered into the crook of my neck,

'Don't keep him waiting,' I winked and followed her out of the room and down the stairs,

I invited Perri over to my house because Joe was away on a stag weekend or something like that. My Mum was home with Jackson but that didn't matter because she likes Perri.

We wanted to leave Mal and Mitch alone otherwise we would be totally gate-crashing their first date or as what Mal like to call it a 'Way of getting to know watch other'...But it's a date.

'Mum,' I shouted, opening the front door.

'Yeah I'm in here kace!' I heard her from the living room,

'I brought Per-' Then I stopped talking, I walked into something I never thought I would ever, ever see.

'Hello again, Perri,' My Mum smiled, standing up and giving him a hug.

Then HE stood up...Joe.

'Nice to meet you,' He grinned through gritted teeth, Perri smiled briefly and sat down next to me, Opposite my Mum and Joe.

'Kacey, I can't apologize enough for the other day, I was absolutely drunk out of my brain and I've never been so stupid in my life. I'm stopping drinking now so that I can be a real dad to you and Jack,'

'You will never replace my dad,'

'I know, I know that, but I want to be there for you and do things that dads should do, I'm trying to make a really big change Kace, but I can only forgive myself if you forgive me. Like I said, words can't explain how sorry I am,'

'Fine, like I said, I don't want Jackson to grow up without a dad like I have to and will have to for the rest of my life,' I turned and looked at Perri, He smiled briefly but had a sympathetic look in his eye. He sighed and placed his hand on my arm which reassured me.

'So anyway Perri, tell us a little about yourself,' My Mum smiled boiling the kettle whilst we all sat down at the dining table,'

'Well for starters he's famous,' I blurted out,

His face turned bright red and a look of pure shock appeared on my mum and Joe's face,

'Well I wouldn't say-'

'He was on the britain's got talent thing the other night,' I started laughing because he was getting so embarrassed,

'Are you serious,' My mum gasped in disbelief,

Perri nodded his head slowly, 'It's true,' He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.

'No shit,' Joe sat down opposite us,

I started laughing silently hiding my face, he seemed to notice and laughed, but disguised it with a cough,

'No, it's true,' He smiled,

'I don't know how you managed to do that then kacey,' My mum chuckled, placing a cup of tea in front of Perri and I,

'It's a long story,' Perri smiled, He looked at me and I smiled back.

His smile is so comforting, it's like you can tell he's just a genuine, caring, no bullshit guy.

'Wait, do what,' Joe turned to my mum, as he was sat next to her.

'Well aren't you two like, you know,' She raised her eyebrows whilst grinning

'Oh no-'

'Well, We're not actually-' Then we looked at each other and stopped,

'I've seen enough to know that you two are more than just friends-,'

'Mum,' I interrupt,

'Sorry,' she chuckled, 'Take your tea upstairs,'

Perri and I left the table holding our cups of tea and he followed me upstairs. I missed my room, I'm never usually out of it. I turned round to look at Perri, He was browsing through my photos on my wall, photos of me on various occasions and me with my friends and family.

'I can't believe him,' I break the silence brutally,

'Neither can I,' I walk over to a beanbag and collapse onto it, Perri doing the same,

'He needs somewhere to live and food to eat and this is the only place he can get it. I can't believe how stupid my Mum is being, she promised me she would never get back with him, the problem with her is that she's too kind,' I feel his hand touch my arm again and I immediately stop talking,

'He hit me Pel, how am i ever meant to feel safe around him !?'

'Kacey, you're strong.' He turns to me and lifts up my chin with his finger, his eyes gazing into mine, 'I haven't known you for long but I've known you long enough to know that you don't take shit from anyone,' He smiled, causing me to look down and laugh briefly, but he lifts my head back up and tucks a piece of hair behind my ear, I blush but he doesn't take his focus off my face,

'I'm always here for you Kacey, I always will be,'

Within that same instant I felt his lips touch mine, It was a single kiss.

He pulled away and looked at me, I could still feel his breath on my face. He looked into my eyes and then down at my lips. I smiled briefly but before could say he cupped my cheek with his hand and pulled me closer to him, then he kissed me again. This time it was for longer, like he'd made his mind up that this was what he really wants. He kissed me slowly.

Our lips moved in a perfect sync; like that's what they were made for.

When we stopped, he traced my cheekbone with his finger,

'You're so beautiful,' He whispered with a smile,

I smiled and looked down, I didn't need to say anything for him to know what I was thinking. I was falling for him...big time

'Will Perri be staying for dinner,' My mum asked me as I walked into the kitchen to grab Perri and I a snack,

'I don't know, ask him,' I smiled, nodding to perri who was hovering in the doorway, supporting himself by placing his hands at the top of the doorframe,

'Oh, will you be staying for dinner Perri,' My mother beamed,

'Well, erm-'

I winked at him

'Yes, thank you Mrs Jones, that would be lovely,' He smiled,

'Please, call me Kimberly Hon,' She turned around and got on with the dinner.

Joe looked at me and smiled from across the table, I just ignored him and looked back down at my food. Maybe he genuinely wants change, or maybe he's just mugging us all. Oh well, We'll probably find out soon...

'So Perri, is dancing like your job?' My mum asks, tucking into her Lasagne,

'Well yeah,' He laughs sort of,

'And you'd like to do it for a long time,'

'Well, for as long as I can really,' He smiles.

We ate our meal whilst talking about schools and careers.

Perri turned to look at me and I don't know what it was but I just found something funny, I bursted into brief laughter and covered it with my hand and a cough, which Perri seemed to find strangely funny, causing him to burst out laughing, coughing on his food. I looked to my Mum and she was smirking, as I wasn't going to get into trouble, I burst out laughing, I couldn't stop. I lean on Perri for support as I literally couldn't breathe. I look at Joe and he started laughing,

'You two are crazy you know, you're off your heads !' I cough and sit up straight, I looked at Perri and he winks at me, I had to look away to prevent me from laughing again, he must have known this because I hear him laugh to himself quietly as he tucks back into his food,

My phone starts ringing, it was Malin,

'Mum do you mind, it's Malin,'

'No! Not at all Hun, go find out what's happening,' I mentioned Mals' date with Mitch briefly earlier,

Perri and I quickly excuse ourselves from the table and up into my room

'Hello?' I put the phone on speaker,

'KACEY!'

'WHAT'S WRONG !'

'Oh no, Nothing's wrong this is literally just the best thing that's ever to happened to me in my entire life...' I look up at Perri and he's smiling,

'Soooo? I take it it's going well,'

'Kacey, I don't even know how to explain it! It's like he just knows what to do to make me feel special, like he could choose anyone but he chose me, I mean have you looked at him !?'

'Yes, I've looked at him Mal, He's definitely more your type,' I wink at Perri

'You think, Oh my god!'

Perri tripped over the door stopper, as it was still dark, and fell into me,

'God Perri!' I burst out laughing, tumbling over slightly too,

'Wait Perri !? Oh my god he's there! I knew you were into him,'

'Mal, you're on speaker,' I smirk,

'I knew you two would get it on, you are like the perfect couple,'

'Well we're not-' He looked at me with a cunning smile and I could see the lust in his eyes,

'M-Mal,' I stutter, not taking my eyes off of him, 'I'll ring you back in a sec-' I quickly end the call and wrap my arms around his shoulders, he wraps his arms around my waist and moves me towards the wall. He kissed me, I kissed him...

When we stopped we were slightly out of breath,

'So,'

'So,' I repeated, I still had my arms on his shoulders and he had one of his hands on his waist and one cupping my face,

'What does this mean,' He said smiling, looking at my hands,

'I don't know Perri, what do you want it to mean,'

'I want it to mean, well, more than just friends,' He blushed and looked down,

'Wait, are you blushing,' I grinned, he laughed and looked down. I lifted his head up with my hand so he was looking straight at me,

'That's what I wanted from the moment I met you,' I smile, he smiles back and kisses me again. But this time it was different, it meant more. It was passionate and full, like something he wanted to get out of his system. Maybe it was something he wanted to do for some time as well...
