Chapter 3: Mr. Som hallucinated

Euthanasia: Spare Me Your Mercy volume 2

"Gunn...."

Wasan called out to Gunn, who seemed distracted.

"Doc!"

The doctor quickly looked at the person infront of him, who seemed irritated that was distracted even when the police officer was already naked and leaning between Gunn's legs to please him with his lips.

Wasan let out a big sigh and stopped what he was doing immediately.

He sat down again.

"Baby, I'm sorry."

Gunn held Wasan's face with his hands. The doctor seemed abnormal since he returned home. Although at abnormality was very slight, there was no way that someone who had been living with Guntapat for a while could not detect it. Wasan had seen Gunn like this before when he had problems with De. Somsak and tried to hide it.

"Let's stop here if you're not in the mood,"

Wasan said fiercely and removed Gunn's hand from his face.

"Don't be like that, Wasan."

Gunn held Wasan so that she was lying on his chest.

Gunn's boyfriend was like a big cat who got angry easily, but could also be easily appeased.

"I'm just tired. Today I was diagnosing patient from morning untill one. I only had a minute to eat and then I had to make house calls."

"Gunn,"

Wasan rubbed his hand over the doctor's strong chest.

"You don't have anything to tell me, do you?"

Gunn smiled sweetly and leav down to kissed the other person's head of short hair,

"You're thinking I have secret again."

"I hope not. I trust you a lot. I will be very sad if you have secrets from me."

Wasan walked away from Gunn.

"If you don't want to do it then we should go to sleep.

Tomorrow morning I have to go to court."

Although Gunn was in a bad mood, the doctor couldn't let it show and his it by responding to the other person's needs without fail. Today, Wasan initiated romantic activity, so the police officer would be deeply disappointed if Gunn denied him like this. The doctor turned over Wasan's body at that moment and placed a frim kiss on his lips and neck before moving down to his chest.

Wasan let out a loud moan as the other party sucked and rubbed him. The doctor's touch descended to the round buttocks.

Wasan seemed to be ready, so Gunn spread his legs and dangled them over his shoulders. Gunn did not hesitate insert himself into Wasan's body again and again.

The cold weather of the night could not calm Gunn's chaotic mind. When Wasan fell asleep.

Gunn got up, sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the moonlight coming through the window.

His cold gaze was like water in a deep well as he fell into through  when he found the mysterious letter in the mailbox infront of the house.

Gunn went crazy and tore the letter into pieces before throwing them into the trash. Of course, he heard the term 'The Angle Of Death in White' before, and the owner of this term used to point him in the car and called him that

That person was Mr. Som.

One of the witnesses who knew what Gunn did but was covered up because of his schizophrenia.

Gunn decided to let him live because he had no bad intentions.

Even if Som could recognise Gunn's face, he had no evidence to accuse Gunn.

On top of that, his mental symptoms also discredit his own words.

Gunn looked at the man he loved fast asleep and then stood up to walk towards the door.

He opened the door and quickly walked down the stairs to his death next to the living room.

The doctor looked at the CCTV installed infront of the house to see who had put the letter in the mailbox. His heart started beating faster when he was a figure of a man walking towards Gunn's house at 1:28p.m. The man was wearing the uniform of a village security guard.

Gunn had to thank the quality of the camera he brought, because he could see the details of the man's face very clearly. The town security guard left the white envelope in the mailbox ad returned without looking suspicious.

This was the security guard that Gunn usually saw. It seemed like tomorrow the two of them would have something to talk about.

"In leaving first."

Wasan grabbed his briefcase and car key and then approached Gunn, ho was eating pork soup that Wasan had warned up for him that morning.

"I'm on duty tonight, you don't have to make me dinner."

"Okay. Are you sure you don't want me to take you?"

"No, I can't say exactly when I will return home. It is more convenient to go alone."

This was an answer that Gunn had expected in advance.

The doctor smiled kindly at Wasan.

"Drive carefully, darling."

The young police man nodded, turned around and left the house. As his beloved walked out the door, Gunn's smiling face disappeared and he remained expressionless like a statue.

He put the spoon down on his unfinished breakfast plate and got up to make sure Wasan left the house. The doctor quickly grabbed his car keys, and left his house. He drove his car to the guard kiosk infront of the town to find the security guard as he was looking for, and it was not difficult to find him because the middle - aged guard greeted people entering the town with a friendly smile. Gunn parked his car infront of the house no. 1 and got out of the car to see the security guard.

"Excuse me," the doctor's voice was a little harsher than usual.

"Oh, hello doctor"

One security guard smiled widely at Gunn because he immediately recognised that this handsome man was one of the residents of.thr village.

The guard's face seemed harmless.

"Did you get the letter yesterday?

I put it in the mailbox infront of your house."

Without having to ask,.it seemed like Gunn immediately got the answer as to who put the letter there.

The young doctor's face seemed angry and terrifying at this moment.

"That letter, did you write it yourself?"

The smile on the guard's face slowly faded as he saw the ferocious look as if the person infront of him was about to tear the flesh from his body and swallow it.

"No......no. It's not my letter."

Someone asked me to deliver the letter to you in the afternoon. I had good intentions.

I was afraid of forgetting it, so I left it in your mailbox.

Please accept my apology if you are not here. "Happy with what I did."

Gunn paused for a long time as if to decide whether he should believe this person's words. He told himself to calm down when he saw the scared expression on the other person's face . You could be after the wrong person.

"Who gave it to you?"

"I don't know him.

He is not one of the residents either. He was a boy about 13 or 14 years old and he called me from across the street.

I walked up to him and asked me to please pass the letter to you when you came back. I thought you had .

"Child?" Gunn frowned.

"Can I see the security cameras? I have to know who sent the letter."

"Y....Yes, of course. Let me called my boss. You want to see the recordings during the time I received the letter, right?"

The middle-aged secugiard stammered, but seemed happy to help. This made Gunn realise that this person was probably not the real culprit.

"Doctor, do you want to see him now?"

Gunn looked at his watch, it was 8 o'clock and he had to meet his first outpatient at 9.

He needed to call the nurse to tell her that he would be little later because the matter at hand was very suspicious.

"Yes, I will wait to see it. Please hurry up."

"Professor Gunn...."

The nurse infront of the examination room called out to Gunn, who was running into the examination room. Today Gunn seemed more irritated than the nursenhad ever seen before.

Looktarn, a young nurse, stood up and followed the doctor into the room anxiously.

"Professor, today we only have five patients, the rest have already died."

"Yes, you can send the first patient."

Gunn logged into the hospital's computer system.

Gunn did not have many patients per day because palliative patients require more time to consult.

Palliative care was a delicate matter and Gunn had to use both science and art to talk to his patients, resulting in at least half an hour of examination period case.

But it seemed that Gunn was not calm enough to have long conversation with anyone.

When looking at the CCTV infront of the town, he found that he was not able to clearly detect the image of the person who left the letter.

This was because the person who received the letter was called from a distance as if he knew that his image would be recorded if he came close.

Due to his good intentions and naivety, the security guard walked out of his kiosk towards the person who called him the other side of the road infront of the town without much though.

Since you couldn't discover the origin of the letter, you must start with the most suspicious person. What he wanted to know was who did this, but also what that person wanted from him.

That person was the hallucinated Mr. Som.

"Oh, do you mean Som's house?" Wasan responsed to Gunn through the phone.

"Starting from the Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital where you go every Tuesday and continuing straight for about 509 meters, then you turn into the small alley on the left.

Som's house looks like an abandoned wooden house on the left. There is only a house white a small wooden shelter infront of the house. If you can't find the way, you can ask Uncle Tae or Nurse Anne."

"Thank you, honey," Gunn said sweetly to the person on the other end of the line.

"But I'm not sure if he still stays in the same house or not.

Since I arrested him that day when he had hallucinations, he was treated in the hospital and became a normal person again.

He may have already left home.

By the way, why are you asking Som's house."

Wasan was still a curious person always. But hearing his voice, this was just casual curiosity, not suspicion. The doctor knew he was doing something wrong because he was playing with Wasan's trust in him, but he had no choice.

"His psychiatrist wanted to do a house visit. I remember you've been to this patient's house before, so I'm asking you for the house visit time."

"You visit various types of patients, right?"

Wasan said, laughing

"You have to congratulate me because I'm a good doctor who can treat all types of patients and I am also handsome," the doctor said to make it seem like everything was normal.

"In going to argue that you are a good doctor, but where did you get the confidence that I will compliment you on your appearance?"

One thing always remained the same between Gunn and Wasan is the way they joke with each other. Someone with tough words like Wasan against someone cunning like Gunn meant that their jokes were never boring.

However, it seemed that Gunn would not be able to talk to Wasan for a long time during the lunch break. When he told the other to eat quickly, the doctor hung up the phone. He changed to gear of the car and quickly left the hospital to the target location.

After taking off his medical gown and leaving it in the car, the tall young man stood infront of the wooden house that Wasan described as dilapidated as an abandoned house.

However, from Gunn's point of view at this time, Som's house was not as bad as Wasan had described it. It had probably been cleaned and renovated. It' possible that maybe Som had returned to fix up his house, or maybe the owner has changed.

A black dog ran out the door of the house that was ajar.

He approached Gunn and barked non-stop.

The doctor was a little taken aback, but seeing that the dog did not dare to bite him, he remained still. He looked calmly at the wooden door.

"Mit! Why are you barking so much?"

A man's voice was heard from the door of the house that finnally opened wide. The man left the house and stood still when he saw who his dog was barking at. The skinny man's eyes widened in shock when he saw the soul-sucking gaze directed toward him. The hallucination.he had that this person was the angel of death repeatedly reappeared.to his head, even when his hallucination had been cured many months ago.

Som knelt on the ground, fear invaded his heart and frozen his entire body.

"I have something to ask you," said the young doctor in a low voice, so that the listener could not guess what he had in mind. I would like to speak with you in private."

Som struggled to get up and grabbed the doorknob. He returned to his house and slammed the door. Gunn frowned sadly and prepared to enter, but the black dog began to threaten him with his fangs. He would surely be bitten if he came any closer to the house.

The doctor clenched hia fists and slowly withdrew.

When he was sure that the dog would not run and follow him, he quickly walked to his car and violently opened the door.

He gripped the steering wheel tightly with both hands, trying to calm himself and think about what he should do from now on.

Som might be the most suspicious, but that doesn't mean he did it.

Gunn had to find more information. He had to wait untill Som wasn't home, drugs the dog and loog for evidence.

Or maybe the easiest easy, nip the problem in the bud treat it like he did with Dr. Somsak and get it over with.

Gunn let out a long sign and rested his head on the car seat, exhausted. He tried to erase his last thought. He is a doctor, not a murderer. Killing Dr. Somsak was more than enough sin.

"But too many people died,"

Lamented the young doctor.
