Chapter Seven: No Other Choice

As her mother opened the door Bianca felt sick again as her nerves took over causing her to hurl all over her mother’s shoes. It was almost funny except that her throwing up caused the pain to take hold of her again.

Her mother stared in complete shock as Bianca started crying and gripping her stomach tightly. “Mrs. Stone please let us in your daughter’s life depends on it.” Brody said staring at her.

“I’m afraid you are mistaken, I don’t have a daughter.” Mrs. Stone said backing up to shut the door. Bianca heard her mother and felt a searing pain go straight through her body causing her to convulse in Brody’s arms.

“You better hope she survives this.” Brody snarled pushing her back as he carried Bianca inside. “Sir there is nothing we can do to help her she made her bed and was punished.” Mrs. Stone said following behind.

“I don’t believe you know who you are speaking with Mrs. Stone I suggest you get your husband NOW.” Brody growled sitting on the couch holding Bianca close. Bianca’s mother ran off to find her husband.

He ran into the living room to see Brody holding his precious baby girl’s limp body in his arms. “What is going on? What have you done to her?” Mr. Stone asked running towards them.

“I’m afraid Bianca has been rejected one too many times and she is dying.” Brody answered him as he felt Bianca’s wolf start slowly fading. “What do you mean who else has rejected her?” he asked falling to his knees beside them.

“I’m afraid I did unintentionally, but I made things right with her and have accepted her as my mate but as you can see it hasn’t healed her.” Brody said feeling his wolf start to go crazy.

“Your highness I don’t know what you expect from me I don’t know what I can do to help.” her father said as tears started to make their way down his cheeks. “I’m afraid you’re going to have to apologize and make things right with your daughter and fast because I can already feel my wolf starting to lose control.” Brody replied.

Mr. Stone stared at his daughter for a few minutes before he placed his hand on her forehead. “My sweet daughter a day hasn’t gone by that I haven’t thought about you and your child. I regret my actions and wish I could take them back.” Mr. Stone cried.

Brody could feel Bianca’s wolf perk up as her father spoke but it didn’t seem like it was enough. He began to wonder where her mother ran off to when he noticed her coming from a room wiping her shoes off then going to the front porch and cleaning up the remnants of food.

She didn’t even glance in her daughter’s direction or act as if she cared. “Mr. Stone it’s helping some but I’m afraid it’s still not enough please keep trying.” Brody said as he continued to observe her mother.

“Bianca I am asking you for forgiveness and asking you to be a part of my life again. I have been broken since the day I had to turn you away there have been so many nights I wanted to come and bring you back home where you belong.” Her father continued crying.

Brody could sense the happiness in Bianca’s wolf as her father kept talking to her. It seemed to be working but he knew unless he could get her cold hearted mother to apologize his mate wouldn’t ever be whole again.

“Mr. Stone would you mind holding Bianca while I have a word with your wife.” Brody glared towards Mrs. Stone. “No I wouldn’t mind a bit, your highness.” Mr. Stone said taking Bianca into his arms.

Brody grabbed Bianca’s mother by the arm and took her outside. “Look I don’t know what your problem is but I am only going to tell you this one time so I suggest you listen.” Brody said once they were out of Bianca’s listening distance.

“I don’t have a problem I just refuse to turn my back on the pack laws to oblige a traitor to our kind.” Mrs. Stone stated. Brody felt his wolf squirming to be freed to deal with this woman but he knew that in order to save Bianca he had to handle the situation differently.

“As prince of the royal wolf family I am ordering you to go into that house and apologize to your daughter and let her know how much you care for her.” Brody growled. “Or what your highness?” she sneered.

“I’ll have your status taken and banish you from the life you have known just as you did Bianca.” He responded as he straightened and seemed to really tower over her. Mrs. Stone couldn’t believe what he was saying.

“Are you threatening me?” she asked not showing any fear. “No I am promising you woman.” Brody spit at her. “Fine I’ll do it but don’t expect me to act as if everything is peachy.” She said turning and stomping into the house.

Brody hated that he had to make her lie to Bianca but it was all he could think of to save her. He walked into the house to see Bianca’s parents huddled on each side of her talking to her and telling her how much they loved her and missed her.

He felt an overwhelming sense of relief come from his wolf as Bianca’s wolf became stronger and stronger. He knew that she was going to be alright but he also knew that she was very fragile from everything that has happened to her.

He stood behind the couch where her parents were talking to her when she opened her eyes and smiled the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. He wanted to whisk her away but he fought the urge and let her have a few more minutes with her parents.

Bianca woke up feeling better than ever she wasn’t quite sure what had happened but she could feel that her wolf was at peace. She hugged both her parents to her as she began to cry tears of joy.

“I have missed you both so much.” She cried squeezing them tighter. Brody watched as her father sincerely hugged her but he could tell her mother’s hug was forced. He realized that she may end up being a problem down the road but hoped his threat would keep her in line.

“Brody thank you so much for this I am forever grateful.” Mr. Stone said pulling him into a hug. “It is I that should be thanking you for saving my mate.” Brody smiled. “I always knew Bianca was meant for great things but I never imagined in my wildest dreams that she would be mated to a royal especially after everything that happened.” Mr. Stone smiled.

“She definitely is unlike anyone I have ever met.” Brody smiled as he sat beside Bianca. “I hate to break up this little reunion but I have an appointment to get my hair and nails done.” Mrs. Stone said heading upstairs.

“Some things never change.” Bianca laughed as her mother disappeared out of sight. “I’m afraid your mother has been set in her ways far too long to ever change them besides you know how she is about keeping appointments.” Her father chuckled.

“Bianca it was good to see you and I’m so glad you have found your mate.” Mrs. Stone said kissing her forehead. Brody smiled at her to show his appreciation when she looked at him before closing the door.

He knew she was going to be a problem in the future he could just sense it but he was willing to do whatever it takes to protect Bianca from that coldhearted woman. “Bianca I agree with your mother I am so glad you found your mate especially one worthy to have you as his.” Mr. Stone smiled pulling Brody and Bianca into a hug.
