Chapter Thirty Nine: Crowning New Royalty

While Damien and Brody were on their way to the cabin Samuel contacted Lycan to have Albert removed from the castle before any of his family was brought in just to be safe.

“What happened back there Bianca has been screaming out of control for a good hour or two now.” Tanya said as he walked thru the door. Brody bowed his head in shame knowing his mate could feel her parent's life force was no longer present.

“Son you have to tell them then you need to go be with your mate.” Abigail said placing her hand on his shoulder. He nodded his head then sat down on the couch placing his head into his hands.

“Damien what is going on, was someone hurt?” Sarah asked when Brody didn't give an explanation. “Yes quite a few were killed.” he replied sitting beside his brother. “You must tell them.” Abigail insisted but watched as her sons sat side by side in a daze.

“What happened, where are my parents?” Bianca cried rushing into the living room. Brody jumped up reaching out to pull her to him only for her to push him away. “Babe please you have to calm down this isn't good for the baby.” he cried.

“Stop avoiding the question and answer me.” she demanded. “ They're dead.” Damien answered barely above a whisper. “N-n-n-no that can't be, you told me my father was safe.” Bianca said backing away from them.

“Sweetheart after you linked with your father he went in search of your mother which he ended up running into us and eventually joined us seeing as we told him what had been going on. Once we realized where father was we found your mother on his lap which caused all chaos to break out.” Brody said forcing her into his arms.

“Brody turned to help me when one of the guards who was in his wolf form lunged at him only for your father to jump in front of him saving Brody's life but costing him his.” Abigail spoke up. “Is this true?” Bianca glared up at Brody. He just nodded his head.

“What about my mother?” she sobbed. Damien jumped up and walked out of the room not wanting to be near her when she found out. “She was so heartbroken by your father's death that she had gone mad and jumped in front of one of the wolves while in her human form.” Brody comforted her.

Bianca cried until she had no more tears to cry. “Just leave me be.” she said pushing Brody away from her. “I can't I fear you may try to hurt yourself out of madness do to the loss of your parents.” he replied pulling her back into his arms.

“I want to give them a proper burial side by side somewhere on the grounds of the castle.” she stated. “I will make sure of it and I want you to know that I promised your father as he took his last breath that I would take care of you.” Brody said rubbing her back. “He really loved having you as my mate heck if it hadn't been for you I wouldn't have ever gotten my father back.” Bianca smiled burying her face in his chest falling fast asleep.

A week later they were preparing for the wedding coronation seeing as they were running out of time before it was too late for them to tie the knot and the Queen would have to pick who she wanted to be his wife which without a doubt would still have been Bianca.

Everyone agreed that a festive event would change the depressed aura of the castle around into a more alive and happy one. Bianca hadn't been herself since her parent's passed away but everyday she slowly moved forward.

The people of the kingdom seemed so much happier once news spread that Queen Abigail and Princess Solara were alive and King Albert had disappeared. The tension that all wolves felt had been lifted bringing a more joyous feeling across the kingdom.

The day finally came for Bianca and Brody to be married. They had been concealing the news of them expecting from the kingdom just because they wanted to wait and announce it on the night of their wedding coronation ball.

As Bianca walked down the aisle in her beautiful white strapless diamond embroidered ball gown everyone stood and stared at her in awe. Brody couldn't believe his eyes as she walked down the aisle accompanied by Mr. Daniels.

Whispers of her protruding stomach began to fill the room as the bride made her way towards her husband to be. When she reached Brody they smiled at each other and turned to face their people.

“Friends, family and assorted guests my mate and I would like to announce that we are indeed expecting and can't wait for our family to grow.” Brody beamed. Bianca stood by his side grinning wide. People in the crowd all cheered with excitement at their news.

The garden's hadn't looked more beautiful then at that moment when the soon to be King and Queen were speaking of their own family with their subjects. They both turned back around and took their wedding vows before Queen Abigail started the crowning.

Once they were officially married she began with a speech of how wonderful it was to be back home where she belonged with her family. She went on to take the crown made to fit Brody's head and held it above his head.

“You have been groomed since the day you were born to be our next king and it is my honor to grant your birth given right to not only be ruler of our kind but to also represent all wolves as a whole. I know that you will do just that making us all proud to be wolves.” She said placing the crown on his head.

“I swear to rule with honesty, loyalty and most importantly kindness.” He said as he stood with the crown on his head. Brody and Abigail turned to Bianca next. “Bianca it is with great honor to call you my daughter and I wouldn't want to give this crown to anyone else.” Abigail grinned.

“Bianca as the bearer of my heart, soul and children I want you to rule by my side as my Queen. I know there isn't anyone better than you to fill the shoes of my mother.” Brody grinned as Abigail placed the special crown made just for Bianca on her head.

“I accept and as Queen I promise to back you my King no matter what the circumstance may be. I also swear to keep you on track at all times and if I feel you aren't doing things in the best interest of the people I will push you until you are.” She smiled as Brody pulled her into his arms.

“I present to you King Brody, Queen Bianca, and Princess Hope.” Abigail smiled as Brody pulled Hope into his arms. The crowd cheered with pure joy when the new royal family turned to face them.

Sarah and Damien joined them on stage followed by Travis and Lance along with Solara, Draven and their kids. Samuel made his way to the stage to be with Abigail. “Mom, dad get up here with us.” Bianca said motioning to the Daniels. “Yes we want the entire family up here with us because together we are a united front.” Brody grinned.

After the crowd calmed down some the party began with a feast that was prepared by the staff along side Abigail, Solara, Tanya, Sarah and Bianca. No matter what they did they just couldn't get the women out of the kitchen.

“I would like to make a toast not only to the new king and queen but to my mother Abigail whom I never thought I would see again.” Lance started. Everyone became quiet and waited for his speech.

“I grew up with stories from my brothers of how wonderful you were and how much you loved everyone. It wasn't until I was able to see you again that I realized how much those stories lacked your true greatness. I love you mom and having you back in our lives is the greatest blessing ever.” he beamed at her.

He waited until everyone was done clapping before speaking again. “My dear big brother not only were you our protector but you helped raise us and I can honestly say without you Travis and I wouldn't be who we are today. Bianca without you I don't think we would have ever found our mother and sister and for that I can't thank you enough.

Also I thank you for bringing Hope into our lives and letting us spend so much time with her, protecting her and having tea parties. I never realized who I truly was until you two came into my life and B with your help of pushing me to be who I am and not who others think I should be helped lead me to my mate.” Lance grinned looking into the crowd.

As everyone watched in anticipation as a young man stood and made his way towards Lance. “I knew it.” Sarah blurted out causing everyone to laugh. “I was going to hide him from everyone like I did father but I knew you would accept him with open arms so I thought no better time than now to introduce you all to my mate, Stephen.” Lance grinned as they embraced.

Bianca jumped up as fast as she could with her huge belly and waddled over to them pulling them both into a hug. “I am so proud of you for not hiding who you are and I am thankful that I helped you realize that you needed to embrace yourself and not care what others would think.” she smiled as she squeezed them tighter.

Everyone congratulated him and said hello to Stephen before going back to their seats. The rest of the night was spent with everyone meeting their new King and Queen and lots of dancing. It was safe to say the kingdom had completely forgotten about King Albert and his evil ways and embraced their new rulers with open arms.
