Chapter Thirty One: The Hunt Is On

After several hours of searching for Hope they had come up empty Bianca had regained control and was leading the effort to find her. She was upset with her wolf because she didn't try to contact Brody earlier when everything first happened.

“Brody if you can hear me Hope has been taken by Draven Keetes.” Bianca yelled in her head hoping that Brody would respond but she still couldn't get through to him. “Have you tried to get in touch with Damien again?” Bianca asked Sarah.

“Yes but still no luck I'm really starting to get worried about him. I wish my dad was a wolf instead of a fairy because then I could use our mind link to check on them.” Sarah said sitting on a giant boulder.

“That's it you're a genius.” Bianca beamed. “What did I do?” Sarah asked not quite sure what she said. “I can contact my dad using our mind link and he can bring some of the pack members to come help find her.” Bianca smiled sitting beside Sarah.

“I really wish I knew how to harness and use all my abilities.” Sarah frowned. “It'll all come to you one of these days I mean you have a mind link with Damien so that has to account for something.” Bianca smiled trying to cheer her up.

“That's because he is my mate I mean here we are in the forest a place where my kind should thrive but instead of being helpful I feel like I am in the way.” she said getting up and walking away. “Don't go too far I'm going to stay here and try to contact my dad.” Bianca hollered after her.

“Hope has been taken by Draven Keetes I need your help.” Bianca pleaded in her mind hoping her father would hear her. “Honey your mother and I are at the castle the king called us and said that something terrible had happened to you and Hope that we needed to get here fast.” Mr. Stone replied.

“Daddy the king is behind it he set this all up if you can get to Damien tell him that Sarah needs him but you can't let the king know you are talking to me.” she replied. “Okay but I haven't seen anyone around except the King and his guards.” he replied.

“Sarah something is wrong with Damien you have to keep trying to contact him.” Bianca yelled. “Dad just be careful and I hate to say this but you have to keep everything between us you can't even let mom know we are talking.” Bianca replied as Sarah came running.

“Okay sweetheart I don't quite understand all of this especially not being able to tell your mother but I will do whatever you ask to help find Hope.” Mr. Stone replied. “Thanks daddy we are going to try and find Hope's scent while the moon is high in the sky.” Bianca said turning to face Sarah.

“Damien is alright but he can't get to us to help.” Sarah cried. “What do you mean what happened?” Bianca asked. “Somehow his father found out that he and I have been sleeping together so he had him locked up in the dungeons just in case we were mated that way he couldn't contact me.” Sarah said wiping her eyes.

“So how is he getting through to you now?” Bianca asked. “He told his father he was just having some fun with me that there isn't anything more to it other than some female to please him.” she cried even though she knew it wasn't true it still upset her.

“Tell him I said way to go and that I can't get a hold of Brody for some reason.” Bianca said as an overwhelming musky scent took hold of her. She started following the scent as if she were hunting prey she knew it was a human's scent, a very masculine man.

“Sarah come on I think I found them.” She whispered as she slowly made her way closer to the source of the musk. “Damien something is going on Bianca has found a man's scent and he's human we are getting closer to it now.” she sent him as she followed Bianca.

“Stay safe babe I'm going to try and get through to Brody.” Damien replied. “I love you and we will.” she replied to him. “B, Damien is going to try and get a hold of Brody.” Sarah whispered.

Bianca just nodded her head as she followed her nose. She let her wolf surface to the point she was leading the way but hadn't fully taken over. Sarah started to feel heat throughout her body as if she were on fire.

The closer they came to whoever it was that Bianca was tracking the hotter Sarah became. It was strange she only ever felt this way when she was near fire. “Bianca I think he is by a fire.” Sarah whispered.

“He is I can smell it but that's not what has my attention anymore I can sense Hope.” Bianca grinned. “That is great at least we know she is okay.” Sarah smiled. They continued on until they could see the orange in the sky signaling the fire.

They didn't want to take a change of him hearing them or walking into any traps so they decided to stay put until Bianca was jolted by Hope screaming. She instantly shifted and was running towards the direction of her daughter's scream.

Sarah hadn't realized it but she had transformed as well and was flying in the direction of Hope. Not only was she flying but she was producing a light to help guide Bianca and herself through the dark forest.

She watched from above as Bianca stopped right before crossing into the opening where Draven and Hope were. Instead of stopping herself she went on into the clearing and watched as Draven protected Hope from a snake that had tried to bite her.

Confused she turned back to where Bianca was and stopped when she realized Bianca was staring at her. “What is wrong B?” she asked as she stood there. “Sarah you're glowing and you have wings.” Bianca replied amazed at the sight before her.

“What?” Sarah asked as she realized she wasn't even touching the ground like she thought she was floating above it then she held her hands out in front of to see that she was glowing a bright white with a purple tinge to it.

“I think you have finally found her abilities.” Bianca said hugging her. “It's about time.” Sarah grinned. “So that is definitely Draven and Hope but what I can't figure out is why he seems to be protecting her.” Bianca said nodding towards the clearing.

“I know I watched as he killed a snake that had tried to bite her.” Sarah replied. “Unless he is using her to get to me.” Bianca said. “That may be the case because he obviously knows you're a werewolf mated to a royal so he couldn't just swoop in and grab you he needed bait.” Sarah agreed.

“It worked.” Bianca said running into the clearing. “No wait.” Sarah said flying after her. “Draven you wanted me now you have me just please let my daughter go.” Bianca said as she approached him.
