Chapter Twenty Four: Graduation

Graduation day was here and everyone was rushing around. Sarah was trying to do Bianca's hair and makeup while Damien kept distracting her. The twins were chasing Hope around the house as usual and Brody was dealing with the royal guard to prepare for the move to the castle next week.

“I swear this house better not get tore up I was up half the night cleaning for the party tonight.” Bianca yelled as Sarah was curling her hair. “Yes mom.” rang out throughout the house as everyone just brushed her off.

They had gotten used to her obsessive compulsive cleanliness issues so they knew she was just stressing and not to pay attention to her unless they were actually tearing things up but they weren't.

“The house is perfect babe stop worrying.” Brody smiled walking into Sarah's room.

“Hey you aren't supposed to see her yet.” Sarah screeched which caused Damien to come running.

“What's wrong are you ok?” he asked pushing past Brody. “Yes I'm fine now please take your brother and yourself out of here.” Sarah smiled as he leaned down to kiss her. “Alright let's go Prince.” Damien teased using the nickname Sarah had given Brody.

“I told you to stop calling me that.” Brody protested as they walked out of the room. “How come she gets to call you that but I can't?”Damien said pretending to be offended. “For one you are a prince just the same as me and for two I don't even like her calling me that I just allow it because she is my mates sister.” Brody laughed as they went to the living room.

“So does that mean if Bianca gives me some ridiculous nickname I have to allow it because she is your mate?” Damien asked as they sat down. “Pretty much besides that she is going to be queen soon and will have to learn she has to act properly outside of the castle walls.” Brody said as they kicked back and watched tv.

“I'm afraid that will be easier said than done.” Damien teased. They had watched a few episodes of Family Guy when they heard a car pull into the driveway. Immediately they knew who it was and they were up and out the door to greet him.

“Where are the twins I expect them to know how to greet their father as well.” the king said stepping out of the car. “They took Hope to the park while everyone was getting ready for the ceremony.” Brody said hugging his father.

“Aww I was hoping to see the little angel I suspect my soon to be daughter is inside getting ready still?” he asked as they walked towards the house. “Yes sir she sure is you know how women are everything has to be perfect.” Brody teased.

Damien hadn't been expecting his father until later in the evening for the actual party he hadn't prepped Sarah on everything. He didn't want his father knowing they were mated because he was afraid of what he might do to him.

“Why don't you two watch some tv while I go see how Bianca is coming along.” Damien said rushing off towards Sarah's room. “What's wrong?” Brody asked Damien using their mind link.

“I don't want dad to know that Sarah and I are mated at least not yet.” Damien replied. “Okay I won't say a word to him about it after all you kept mine and Bianca's mating a secret.” Brody replied shutting off his link.

“Ladies I need to come in and talk to you about something.” Damien said knocking on the door. “Come in then.” Sarah said as she was applying Bianca's mascara. “My father is here and I need to let you know what is going on.” he said closing the door behind him.

“What are you talking about?” Bianca asked him thinking he was about to out his father's plans. “Sarah you know I love you dearly and that we are mated and I accept that with all my being but my father has no idea we are mated and I'm not ready to tell him yet so if we could try and keep things friendly around him that would be great.” Damien said pulling Sarah to him.

“Sure that's fine with me I will go along with whatever you want me to.” Sarah smiled kissing him. “Thanks sweetheart I really appreciate it what about you B?” Damien asked turning to her.

“No worries your secret is safe with me, I mean after all you did keep mine and Brody's mating a secret until he was ready to tell him.” Bianca smiled up at him. “Thanks I really do appreciate it and it means a lot to me I just want the time to be perfect and for it to be our own special moment.” Damien said smiling at Sarah.

“That's fine I totally understand in fact I will make sure to let my parents know not to say anything about it tonight when they are here.” She smiled picking up her phone. “Hey am I done I'd like to go spend some time with Brody before the ceremony?” Bianca laughed standing up.

“Sorry B, yes you are done and a masterpiece if I do say so myself.” Sarah laughed. Bianca just rolled her eyes and headed towards the living room knowing that was where Brody and his father would be.

“So I hope that this is presentable enough for the ceremony.” she smiled walking into the living room. “I think you look perfect.” the king said standing up to greet her. Brody just sat there with his mouth hanging open looking her up and down fighting the urge to take her to their room and ravage her.

“Thank you I hope this is a preview of I will look in a month when we have our wedding slash coronation ball.” she said hugging him. “Oh I'm sure it is and it seems you have left your mate speechless.” the king said as they both laughed.

She walked up to Brody and sat on his lap which was all it took for him to wrap his arms around her and carry her to their room throwing her on the bed as soon as he opened the door.

“Hey I'm glad you think I look that good honey but you can't mess me up Sarah will be pissed not to mention we really need to get on the road for the school if we are going to get into line in time.” she said pushing him back with her arms.

“But it's not fair.” he whined. “I'm sorry but as much as I love our time with each other it's just going to have to wait until we get home from the ceremony.” she smiled lifting up and kissing him.

“Fine but as soon as we get home you're mine.” he growled in her ear before nibbling on his claim. She shivered a bit as goosebumps and tingles consumed her body. “No that's not going to work this time.” she said standing her ground.

Once they made their way out of their room they joined everyone else in the living room for a few minutes before jumping in the limo the school provided for graduates and their families.

Once they arrived to the school Bianca was ushered to the separate side of the hall that Brody was. They took their places in the line so that they would be able to perfectly line up with their mates when they were coming up from both sides of the stairs.

The girls were the first to start the dance by wrapping of the may pole which was a symbol for fertility which was funny considering most of the women in the class were already expecting. Once they finished wrapping the may pole they took their places waiting for the guys to do their ritualistic dance to them then they danced with their mates in a waltz style before separating and making their way towards the stairs.

As they ascended the stairs the dean of students was calling out each couples names allowing them to embrace and turn towards the crowd. Bianca was more than ready for her and Brody to be called out but some how they had managed to be positioned at the back of the line for this part.

So as they made their way up the stairs anxiously awaiting their turn they noticed the music change to more of a trumpet number instead of a piano number. That's when they watched as their kingdom's flags were lowered over the balcony.

Then they introduced Brody and Bianca as the future king and queen of the wolf kingdom. Bianca curtsied as Brody bowed to her then they joined each other like the others and turned and waved out to the crowd. They were each given a sash to show their rank in society before they were allowed to descend the stairs together.

Once they were all finished they headed back home to prepare for the party that was going to take place in a couple hours. Which Brody delayed preparations for a good hour and a half by making Bianca live up to her promise from before the ceremony.

She wasn't complaining though just extremely rushed once they both had their fill. She was carrying things outside and barking orders at everyone making sure the decorations were up and all the deck lights were working.

She was definitely a perfectionist when it came to throwing parties. Brody got a glimpse of how crazy their wedding coronation party was going to be. Bianca had just finished setting all the food out when all the guests started to arrive.
