Chapter Twenty Two: Baby Bump Blues

A month had gone by and Bianca was still helping her mother even though she was able to get out of bed she was still not to be left alone due to her losing her ability to shift from the fight.

Bianca and Brody had started planning their move back to the castle since graduation for them was nearing. They were a little over half way finished being Fourth Year's at the ASB which had been a breeze for them seeing as they had Hope already most people in their year were expecting their first pup.

Bianca had been extremely emotional the past few weeks because everyone around her was so happy about being first time parents and she watched as the males basically babied the females who were expecting.

It just reminded her of how alone she really was when she was pregnant with Hope not to mention how out of place she felt since her and Brody still hadn't managed to get pregnant and fully mate.

She was starting to worry that something was causing her from being able to have a baby with him since she had Hope with a human. Brody constantly reassured her that wasn't the case that they just weren't ready for a new pup and when they were the fates would grant them a pup.

She was miserable seeing all the happy go lucky couples at school who were able to carry on conversations using only their mind link. Her and Brody weren't able to do that yet since they weren't fully mated and it was killing her making her feel like an outcast all over again.

Brody had decided that in order to cheer her up he was going to take her mind off the whole baby thing by giving her something else to look forward to. He had already made plans with the Daniels and Stone's to ensure that everything would go perfectly tonight.

Bianca knew something was going on because everyone was being very suspicious around her. All day long her mother talked non stop about marriage and who was marrying who and how she couldn't wait for the day Brody and her were married.

She had left her parent's house and was heading home when her phone rang. “Hey B can you come over right away I need your help planning a surprise party for mom and dad's anniversary tomorrow. Before you say anything I know it's kind of last minute but I forgot all about it until a little bit ago.” Sarah pleaded.

“Yeah I'll call Brody and let him know I will be late getting home tonight that he will need to either order out or make supper.” Bianca replied hanging up. “Hey babe Sarah just called and needs me to come over to help her plan a surprise party for mom and dad's anniversary tomorrow.” she said as he answered.

“Okay babe that's fine I will just order some food for supper, I love you.” he replied. “I love you too I promise I won't be gone too late.” she said before hanging up. She turned around and started towards Equality.

“Why couldn't you have come to my house to talk about this?” Bianca asked as she walked into the house. “I don't know just seemed easier to have you come here so I wouldn't be distracted by staring at Damien.” Sarah smirked.

“I swear I don't see what you see in him but fine.” Bianca said as they walked up to Sarah's room. “I need you to get out of those clothes and put this dress on we are going to a few fancy restaurants and I need you to be presentable.” Sarah said throwing her a beautiful lavender silk gown.

“Ok what about my hair and makeup?” Bianca asked staring at her. “Simple get the dress on and I will do them now hurry up I have already called ahead to schedule an appointment with the manager's of each restaurant.” Sarah said pushing her to change.

By the time they were ready Bianca looked amazing with her smoky eyes and few stray curls hanging around her face. She never dressed up for anything so this was definitely something new for her but something she knew she would have to get used to seeing as by this time next year she would be a queen.

Sarah ushered Bianca out to her car. “Why can't I just drive separately so I'm not having to back track to go home later?” she asked as Sarah practically forced her into her car. “Because it just makes more sense to take mine since I know where we are going.” she replied pulling out of her driveway.

They went into the first restaurant and decided that it wasn't what they were looking for so they left and headed to the next. After going to three restaurants Bianca was beginning to frustrated. Sarah had promised her that the next one was the last one.

They walked into the restaurant where they were met by the hostess and shown to a seating area back in a private room to which she informed them that the manager would be with them shortly.

Bianca was sitting with her back to the doorway while her and Sarah talked. She heard violins start playing behind her when she turned around she saw Brody and Hope along with her parents, the Daniels and Brody's brothers.

She stood up and went to say something when Brody was instantly down on one knee holding a box in his hand. He smiled up at her as he felt the excitement coursing through her.

She started to tear up as he began to speak. “I know this may seem superficial seeing as our mated bond is stronger than the matrimonial bond but I not only want you as my mate, I want to also spend the rest of my life with you by my side as my wife.” he grinned up at her.

“I am already the happiest man alive but if you would do me the honor of making me even happier by accepting my hand in marriage I would beyond grateful.” he said opening the box to reveal a beautiful oval cut vintage diamond ring.

Bianca just stared at him not able to find the right words she just shook her head yes. He slid the ring on her finger and picked her up spinning her in a circle. Everyone clapped behind them before taking their seats.
