Chapter 3.5: Innocence in the Eve

Azure Night[Repost] - Follow the Story of Isa and Elina, and Witness the Birth of a True Enemy[GL/Anti-Hero]

Scene From Isa

A commander's decision setting more into my life, an action still with me. Unable to quell the fury in my heart, my failure to defeat Armand sweeping away an innocent one in the madness.

Floating in the darkness, my growing unrest. Thinking on the worst, wishing to bring her away from it. A pure person continuously suffering, someone always doing her best.

Soon opening my eyes, looking to the bright light ahead. Reaching forward my hand, its presence enveloping me in its warmth.

Finding myself in the flowery field on this raining night, some azure energy in the air. The bleeding moon in the sky, my unrest at the occurrence around me.

Making my way onward, looking to the hazel one. A black nightwear on her, the person in front of the bench. Shortly standing before her, her sullen welcome to me.

"How do you feel about the actions you are taking?" Elina looking away, holding her upper arm.

"Difficult, but it is necessary in order to save you. If I have to burn down the land, then I will." My hand on my waist.

"I guess I should have expected this response. It is funny huh...just how fragile the heart can be. Resilient at first, but then so easily taken apart." Her gentle eyes on me.

"Yeah..." Distantly shifting my vision to my side.

Feeling the rain hitting against me, the cold blowing breeze in the area. My vision on my direction, not allowing anyone to quell my soul.

My presence originally part of their ranks, our diverging roads setting our routes. One holding countless support in his hands, my need to meet his height, to oppose his reason.

"Sorry, I am aware this is something you wouldn't want to happen. Selfish I am, I know. Though, I will not let you become a tool for Armand's delusion." My gaze to her.

"Now that I think about it, this is just like you. Always worrying me, always head strong, believing in your course." Elina faintly smiling at me.

"And this is another reason for you to live, right? So you can properly scold me." Brightly grinning at her.

"Hehe, I suppose so. Just...if anything, remain the way I have always known you, no matter of your path." Her hands behind her back.

"That, I can promise." Gesturing my hand to her.

My decision in the past, the raining sorrow reflecting its everlasting sentiments. Always worrying her, arrowing forward towards my goal.

Deeply holding onto my beliefs, carrying out the will within me. My world eventually crashing down, these pieces remaining in my hands.

Two of us in this space, relishing in the presence of one another. Shortly moving past her, soon standing in front of the stairs.

Malice seeping from my body, its pulsing force in the strange realm. Expanding my warms, releasing it into the floating moon above.

Its increasing malevolence, the object soon returning energy to me. A great power assimilating into my body, strongly flowing through me.

Gripping my katana, holding it to the front. Azure negativity racing along its length, these immense emotions from it. Feeling Elina's approach, putting away my blade, shortly facing her.

"With each offering, you draw closer to bringing ruin." Her conflicting tone.

"Makes you think huh, the reason for the Iconoclast's path. I feel it was a very simple one..." My hands behind my back, some sadness from me.

"Laying ruin to countless, all for her deepest desire. That demon being the one you formed your contract with." Her attention slightly away, soon turning from me.

A strange demon coming to me at my time of dying, offering me a contract to save a precious one to my heart. Feeling warmth in their presence, a powerful ancient resolve.

My own blind faith creating my form, yet the past making a bit more sense to me. I shortly move forward, wrapping my arms around Elina, holding her in my embrace.

"Whatever sins I must endure, I will. So, please do not feel sadness for this. Instead, look ahead to the many things you will be able to do." My soft voice to her.

"The many things huh...you really are a bad influence. These simple emotions, they are worth pursuing." Her eyes towards me.

"Heh, a bad influence? You sure it is me? I mean, you can be quite cunning, this situation and all." Teasing her a bit.

The pure one facing me, her hands to her chest in displeasure. Pleasant old days to my heart, slowly backing up, witnessing her anger to me.

The steadily brightening area around us, a tiring feeling coming over me, this perfect time. The descending rain in the azure, Elina pointing at me. Quickly running away from her, my loud laughter, hearing her furious tone.

"You are not getting away that easily Isa!" the hazel one chasing after me.

"I'll be checking out now! Bye!" my spirit fading into the light.

Isa: I can still draw out some of the cutest responses from you.

Elina: Just wait until next time, Isa...
