In the dining room, “SLAM!” Shaw Huishan slammed his fist on the table.“Olivia, don’t be so greedy. Ten percent of the company’s shares? Do you think you’re worth that much?”

Olivia wasn’t angry.“Looks like you disagree.” She sighed regretfully.“In that case, persuade your son to finalize the divorce. I’m saving you 350 million. Don’t you want a suitable daughter–in–law? This is your chance. If he gets tired of Rita, find another one;

he’ll surely like a fresh face.”

“Olivia!” Julian stormed in, furious. The two bodyguards immediately positioned themselves in front of Olivia. Olivia smiled calmly, dismissing them.

“You’re late. My father and I have already finished talking,” Olivia said cheerfully.

Julian gritted his teeth.“This is between you and me. Talking to anyone else is useless! Divorce? Dream on! Unless you kill me or yourself, you won’t!”

He’d tried pleading, cajoling, begging, and now he was resorting to intimidation? Olivia pursed her lips, silent for two seconds.

“You keep saying you won’t divorce, that you still love me, but at the airport, you left me and took Rita. These past few days, you weren’t with her, were you?”

Julian was speechless; he had taken Rita to the airport, and she’d been attempting suicide daily, forcing him to stay with her.

“Let’s divorce. Our marriage is meaningless,” Olivia pleaded earnestly.

Julian’s icy gaze fell on her.“You’re so eager to be single again; you’re desperate to become Evan’s woman.”

Shaw Huishan was shocked. Evan? He remembered seeing Evan in the video from the charity gala. No wonder Olivia wanted to divorce his son; she wanted to climb the Jones family ladder.
