CHAP 52 GUILT

When Elliana said na buhay si Harrison, and maybe my dad knows about it, I don't know what to feel because all I know right now is to know the truth.

I have a great idea! We will be having family dinner tonight, and I can possibly open a topic about Harrison.

.... FAMILY DINNER....

This is it, we're still preparing some food for our family dinner. We have our very own chef which is si ate Allyssa, she's good at cooking, namana niya yan kay mama. Magaling kasi magluto si mama super kaya that's one of the reason kung bakit nagkagusto si dad sakaniya.

We're already complete and tapos na kaming magpray to thank God for giving us a lot of blessings.

I know dad would ask if we're okay, and that's the right time to ask him about Harrison.

"So, Claire, how's the twins? Kamusta ang buhay mo?" My dad asked while slicing his steak.

"Okay naman po, dad. We're living the best life right now." Ate Claire said.

"How about you, Allyssa?" He asked ate Allyssa.

"I'm okay, dad. Alexandria is fine, my family is fine, and our businesses are all good."She said.

"That's good to know, how about you Sean? How's your life with your husband?" He asked kuya Sean.

"I'm fine, dad. Me and my husband is in good terms naman po, and dad, we were planning to have a baby." He said, and everyone is so shock.

"Oh really?" Dad asked.

"Yes po." Kuya Sean said.

"Are you sure about it na ba, Sean?" Ate Allyssa asked.

"Yes naman, sis. We're currently finding a woman who is willing to give birth in our child." Kuya Sean asked.

"Maybe my friend Elliana can help you. She's a doctor and maybe she can help you find a woman who's willing to carry your future child." Ate Claire said.

"Isn't it too soon, kuya?" I asked my kuya who's currently so happy.

"I know, Nica, pero this is my chance to have a baby." He said.

"Okay, kuya. Good luck and God bless!" I said to him.

"Tell your husband na I want to talk to him privately, okay?" My dad said to my kuya.

"Yes po, dad." Kuya said.

"How about you, Veronica? Wala ka pang boyfriend or girlfriend? Gusto ko na nang another apo." My dad asked.

"Wala pa, dad. Ang bata ko pa." I said.

"Really, Veronica? 32 years old kana baka akala mo 22 ka pa." Ate Claire said.

"Kahit na ate, bata pa ako." I said.

"Don't be pressure about it, Veronica, but mahirap na kapag more 35 years old kana magka anak." Ate Allyssa said.

"Wow, sabi mo wag ipressure pero hahays ate Allyssa." I said to her.

"Kaya nga." Ate Claire said.

"Tama na yan, baka si Harrison talaga gusto nito." Kuya Sean said.

"Nope." I said.

"Ehemm... I have to confess something. I think this is the right time for all of you to know, especially you, Veronica." My dad said.

"I'll guess it, may girlfriend ka dad?" Kuya Sean asked.

"Nope, nobody can replace your mother." My dad said, sweet naman.

"This is about Harrison. Remember when I got home from Eric and Justine's hand, Harrison actually saved me from them." My dad asked, now I'm too shocked to hear this. I even don't know what to feel.

"Sabi ko na nga ba." Ate Claire said.

"How'd you know?" I asked.

"Way back when we attended a party, it's De Vera's Hospital anniversary right? Elliana mentioned Cloudy Rhaine is her favorite and most closest cousin. Nung nasa hospital kami because my twins got sick, nagkwento siya about Harrison and she mentioned na Harrison is her favorite and most close cousin. There's a big possibility na hindi talaga Cloudy Rhaine ang name nun but Harrison Rhaine." Ate Claire said.

"Why would Harrison hide from you?" Ate Allyssa asked.

"Also, diba tita you said that vampire and batwoman person are the same? What if she's Harrison? Nag change outfit lang ganun." Alexandria said.

"Shhh.. let me finish first." My dad said.

I really don't know what to do.

"There's a car right? Na naghatid sakin here sa bahay. Harrison drove me home, and may sinabe siya na hindi muna siya magpapakita sayo Veronica and I don't know what the reason is. Also, after she saved me, hindi niya muna ako pinauwi dahil ayaw niya na mag-alala kayo sakin because of my situation and I have a lot of wounds and pasa sa katawan ko. She decided to treat me first rather than i-uwi ako kaagad, she doesn't want all of you to get worried especially ikaw Veronica. She's so worried about you like so much." My dad said, all I can say right now is tumutulo ang luha ko.

"I-I'm going to e-excuse myself for now, I'm sorry." I said and I walk out as fast as I can.

I'm here sa parking lot and I already found my car. I opened the door while my tears doesn't stop and it keeps on falling down.

Ang sarap niyang sampalin sobra! She's so fucking unfair! s-so fucking u-unfair! How can she do this to me? When all I did is to hurt her? Fuck this woman! I always look down on her and sometimes parang nandidiri ako sakaniya because on how she act everytime we're together, those cringe things that she have done, I know her intentions are good but I can't because I was to indl denial.

"TANGINAMO HARRISON RHAINE DE VERA!" I scream those words while I'm driving.

I'm too hurt for what I've heard from my dad, so bad. I feel lot of guilt in my self for how rude I am to her, for those mix signals na I gave to her, and all she did was to make me feel happy, to make me feel better, and make me feel that someone cared about me even in my days na I'm too rude to everyone. I didn't noticed it because I was too blinded by my own thoughts.

I'm going to my friend's house right now. I can notice na parang nawawalan ako ng lakas right now, I feel so weak. I keep on crying and I can barely see the road.
