CHAP 28 THE CLIENT

Veronica

It's Wednesday na and wala ako sa mood magtrabaho. I'm too exhausted sa lahat, especially kay Eric. I'm too exhausted sa attitude nya, nakakairita.

"Anak, hindi ka ba papasok sa company mo ngayon?" My dad asked, bumisita kasi si dad dito sa bahay, like ngayon lang.

"Hindi muna, dad. Baka mamayang hapon pa." I said

"Is everything okay, honey?" he asked.

"Okay lang namam, dad. There's just something's that's bothering me." I said.

"You can tell me, Veronica. Is it about your married life?" he asked.

"Maybe? Si Eric kasi, dad. Whenever we have a fight palagi nya akong sinisigawan, you know naman dad na I don't like it when sinisigawan ako, diba dad?" I said, this confession will lead to complications and I know that.

"How dare he is! Sa buong buhay ko nga hindi ko kayo sinisigawan. I'll talk to him, magpapaappoint ako with him." My dad said.

"Dad, just talk to him. Don't be so harsh sakanya, baka ganun lang sya because he's stress from work." I said.

"Pinagtatanggol mo pa yung gag* mong asawa. Sinasaktan ka na nga eh." He said

"Dad, please calm down." I said

"No, I'll talk to him. If he doesn't want to lose you, he should treat you like a Queen." My daddy said, I mean he's right but I really just hope na he won't do anything wrong kay Eric.

"Okay dad, just please don't be harsh towards him." I said.

"I think, I'm gonna hire Harrison again." He said

"You don't need to that, dad. I can handle this, we can handle this together naman" I said

"Hmmm but if ever it's going to happen again, wether you like it or not, I'm gonna hire Harrison again." He said.

"Okay, dad." I said and he kiss my forehead. My dad is very sweet but there's a side of him na super strict especially sa work.

I'm here at the coffee shop, I'm alone and it's fine at least I can have my peace of mind here.

"Good to see you here, Veronica." Harrison said, nawala na peace of mind ko.

"Ayaw kong makita ka, umalis kana." I said

"Papaalisin mo ako sa coffee shop ko?" She asked, wews this is her coffee shop? Not bad. Aesthetic naman may mga paintings here pero puro pusa.

"Your coffee shop? wow." I asked

"I'm the owner, this place is very special to me kasi I can have my peace of mind here, I can think straight." She said

"Good for you, Harrison." I said

I felt Harrison arm, inakbayan nya ako and I was so shock kaya sinampal ko sya. I was about to turn kasi to see my car sa labas and then inakbayan nya ako!

"What the fck was that Harrison???" I asked her, she's so disrespectful!

"Namiss kita eh." She said.

"We're not that close for you to do it ha, feeling close ka sis." I said

"I know naman duh!" Tinatarayan pa talaga ako, btch ka ha.

"Hello Irish!" Harrison said, may dumating kasi na btch dito named Irish.

"Who's this woman ba? You're girlfriend?" Irish asked.

"Yes but with space, girl friend. Anyway Irish meet Veronica, Veronica meet Irish." Harrison said, ngumiti lang ako I don't want to shake hands with her, my hands would get dirty.

"Nice to meet you, Veronica." Irish said.

Ngumiti lang ako ulit, she doesn't deserve my hands kaya.

"So cold ha, anyway can we be friends?" Irish asked to me.

"No, I don't want a lot of friends." I said, she looks so embarrassed, good for you btch.

"Di kasi yan friendly si Veronica, pagpasensyahan mo na." Harrison said.

"Oh that's okay, I hope we can be friends in the future." Irish said

"I hope we will not." I said, this woman is to annoying!

"Does your husband doesn't want you to have friends, Veronica?" Irish asked

"No, I just don't want to be friends with you." I said, baka sampalin kita.

"Good for you, sis. Baka magsawa yung asawa mo dahil sa ugali mo, andito pa naman ako." Irish said. What????

"What do you mean?" I asked

"I'm here to comfort you, you know?" Irish said.

"Tama na yan, parang kakaiba na yang pag-uusap niyo." Harrison said.

"I gotta go, Harrison. I kinda wasting my time here, nawala na peace of mind ko." I said

"What the fck do you mean btch? Kasalanan ko ba na nawala ang peace of mind mo?" Irish asked angrily.

"Well if the shoe fits, then wear it." I said, and umalis nako.

"Hoy Irish tama na yan, kasalanan mo rin naman." I heard Harrison said those words.

Well tama naman si Harrison, my peace of mind is hindi nawala nung kausap ko si Harrison, pero nung kausap ko yung btch na yun nawala. To tell you guys, she's kinda familiar, she's like Eric's old assistant. Eric fired him because she's acting weird or something. Anyway papasok nalang muna ako sa office or I'll visit Eric.

I'm here sa elevator pupuntahan ko si Eric cuz I miss him. Now I'm already here sa door ng office nya.

"Ah ma'am Veronica, sir Eric doesn't want to be disturb po kasi may client po siya, this client is very important for him po, sir Eric said." His assistant said, Phia.

"I'm his wife, we're business partner also, why I'm not allowed to go inside?" I asked her.

"I also asked sir Eric about it po ma'am, I asked po what if si ma'am Veronica ang papasok, papasukin ko po ba, he said no po ma'am." Phia said.

"What will happen if you're going to let me in?" I asked.

"He'll fired me po, ma'am Veronica. Ayaw ko pong mawalan ng trabaho." Pagmamakaawa ni Phia. Akong bahala sakanya after this.

"Don't worry, papasukin mo ko and if ever he'll fired you, I'll give you a better job." I said

"Hmm sigurado po ba kayo ma'am?" She asked.

"I am, don't worry I got you, just please let me in." I said.

"Will do ma'am." She said, and open the door for me.

I saw a sexy woman but not that sexy because I'm the sexiest. She's familiar and she's talking with my husband sweetly.

"O-oh honey, why are you here? I told Phia na hindi ako magpapaisturbo? W-Why are you here honey? Do you need something ba?" He said.

"I just wanted to check on you-" I said natigil ang pagsasalita ko when this familiar btch talk.

"He's fine, super fine. Do you know that this is a very important meeting? You shouldn't be here." Irish said.

"Am I not included here? I'm his wife, and his business partner. Am I right, Eric?" I look into Eric's eyes and I can feel na he's uncomfortable I don't know why asawa nya naman ako.

"O-Of course you are, Honey." Eric said.

I sat at Eric's table and tiningnan ko si Irish, gosh the audacity to act na a sakanya tong company nato and to act like she's a very important client? Wtf we're too lugi to have her in our company.

"So now, do you mind to tell me what's going on, Eric?" I asked Eric while looking at Irish.

"Miss Irish De Guzman wants to invest in our company, it's great diba hon?" Eric asked. While I was staring at Irish the whole time it's like her hair is kinda messy ganyan like ew parang hindi babae and her outfit is kinda ruin I guess? Like ew such a irresponsible woman.

"Yeah, great." I coldly said.

"Are you really sure about it, honey?" Eric asked.

"Yeah, how about you Irish? Are you really sure to invest in our company? I feel like you're not ready? Maybe you're nervous because you can't afford the money that can make you an investor in our company?" Pinagmamasdan ko every galaw of this woman, she's shaking.

"Do you think I'm that poor? How much is it?" She asked.

"150 million, do you have that money?" I asked.

"Y-yes I h-have." She mumbled.

"Okayy and try to comb your hair and buy a new clothes, miss De Guzman. It's embarrassing to have a client who can afford 150 million money to invest in our company but can't even fix her hair and can't buy a more formal clothes." I said.

"Hon-" I stopped Eric because he was about to say something, I know he's going to defend this woman. I kiss his lips, never mind I gave him a torrid kiss for about 10 seconds.

"Bye, Honey, and bye Irish." I gave her a flying kiss. HAHAHAHA she look so annoyed.
