Chapter 96

The next morning everyone was up having breakfast together.

CAN: "okay today we will talk to Asli and Ela about the internship, probably after the meeting with Amore Cosmetics." Can and Sanem noticed how the boys were getting irritated.

SANEM: "boys are you both okay, don't you want us to deal with Amore?"

NIHAT: "it's not that, but we really don't like Gio and Antonio."

AZIZ: "We don't like the way they were looking at Ela and Asli."Zara and Deniz were smiling and so were Can and Sanem

ZARA: " what do you mean, how were they looking at them"

NIHAT: "it looked like they wanted them, in more ways than one"

DENIZ: "really I didn't notice, did the girls feel uncomfortable, did they say anything."

AZIZ: "they didn't even notice there to innocent, I don't think they ever had a boyfriend either"

NIHAT: "I agree, even the other night when we took them home they made us drop them off a couple of blocks away from there house so no one would see us, something about gossip."

SANEM: "well boys I know exactly what they are saying, you know I grew up in a neighborhood like theirs, if a girl is seen with a man and not engaged or married, the gossip can be brutal for a girl,  bet you they probably never had a boyfriend, I never did either,  until I met your dad."

Can and Sanem looked at each other and smiled.

CAN: "our situation was a little different, but we were still careful when we went to the neighborhood to visit. But I have to say I was so happy your mother never had a boyfriend before, she was all mine from day one."

He pinches Sanem's cheek. The boys are listening to their parents, they kind of like the fact that Asli and Ela are innocent. The girls are watching their parents and smiling and hoping for a love like they have.

Can and Sanem are looking at the boys, they are now very sure that they have strong feelings for Ela and Asli. And they are very happy.

SANEM: "okay, time to get ready for work, I'm going to clean up, I will come with the girls and Can you go with the boys.

CAN: okay boys let's go we have a busy day today."

On the way to work Can brought up the subject about the girls and them being too overprotective. "Boys we need to back of the girls a little, I think we scaring away potential boyfriends, your mother seems to think that guys are to scared to get involved with them because we're to intimidating."

NIHAT: "good they should be scared, no one is going to hurt our sisters!"

AZIZ: "I agree, dad you see them they're very naïve and innocent, they don't know what guys are thinking."

NIHAT: "and what they want to do with them."

CAN: "listen, your mother was exactly the same way, and she was a tough girl, even though she was innocent and naïve, she always held her ground. I did nothing unless she wanted to, she was definitely the boss, and I think your sisters are definitely like your mother, there good girls, if anyone tries anything I'm sure they will let them have it good, trust me, your mother was

the same." The boys sat there thinking, maybe he's right

AZIZ: "okay we will back of, but if anyone hurts them badly they better run for their lives!"

CAN: "trust me and I will be right behind you both!!"

Can and the boys walked into the agency, all the women in the office turned to look at them and smile, the Divit men are definitely show stopper's when they make an entrance. Nihat and Aziz went over and said good morning to the girls (Ela and Asli)

The girls were  smiling and blushing, the boys definitely make them feel different. A few minutes later Sanem and the girls walk in, Sanem says hello to everyone and heads into Can's office. The girls go to say hello to Asli and Ela. They notice their brothers are smiling.

DENIZ: "Asli, Ela, we're All going to the beach tomorrow would you like to come with us?"

ASLI: "we would love to just tell us what beach and we will be there"

AZIZ: "Nihat and I will pick you up, and we promise we will pick you up where we left you the other night."

ELA: "are you sure we can take a tax or the bus"

The boys are thinking no way are you getting on a bus or taking a taxi with your bathing suits on.

NIHAT: "it's fine we will pick you up, and after we will be going back to our home, my parents are having a cookout. So if you want bring clothes to change."

The girls were smiling. And very happy.

ASLI: "okay, we would love to, thank you."

Everyone went back to work, but Ela and Asli worried about one thing.

ELA: "what are we going to do about your step dad Asli, you know how he gets."

ASLI: "I know, but he probably will be drunk and sleeping by the time we get home."

ELA: "I really wish my mom wasn't working in Izmir, you could have stayed at our house instead of us staying with him the jerk!"

ASLI: me too, but as soon as we get enough money together we're moving out okay, I can't stand him, I don't even tell him the truth how much money I make, because he always wants money from me , the lazy drunken ass!" Ela hugs Asli "Ela, thank you for staying with me while your mother is gone."

ELA: "your my sister, we always look out for each other right? Anyway don't worry it will soon be okay.  You know my mom hardly even calls anymore, I haven't seen her in nine months, I bet you she met someone."

ASLI: "don't think about it, it's not worth getting sick over.  you know Ela, just look at the Divits, both families are so very close, the cousins the siblings and the parents with their kids, that's what I want one day. A family like that." The girls had tears in their eyes.

ELA: "me too, look at the parents both Emre and Leyla and Can and Sanem, you can tell that they truly love each other after so many years."

ASLI: "I know, I would love that. It will happen just because are childhood wasn't the best doesn't mean that it can't get better."

ELA: "true, let's get back to work, we have a meeting with that middle aged diva and gio and Antonio."

ASLI: "they were nice but definitely not my type"

ELA: "I agree, but I don't think they were interested in us anyway, I only want one person interested in me Nihat"

ASLI: "me too Aziz, (both daydreaming) anyway let's get back to work.

Back in Can's office

SANEM: did you see the boys? They went straight to Asli and Ela." He smiles and pinches her cheek

CAN: "I did bebek, they are definitely in love those two."

SANEM: Can look, Elkin and Adem are here, they're talking to our girls."Sanem is doing a happy dance in her seat."

CAN: "Sanem why don't you sit on my lap and do that"

Sanem looks at him and laughs and punches him the arm.

SANEM: "stop it Can."

The girls are talking to Elkin and Adem

ELKIN: Deniz I talked to my dad you can do an internship in his office, I know he's corporate but he does a lot of family law too, you know my dad he loves to help people when he can."

DENIZ: "that's great, I will start when my parents come back from vacation and I think I'm gonna finish up school here in Istanbul. I'm almost done anyway."

Elkin was very happy to hear that she won't be leaving again. And working in the office with him.

ADEM:?"Zara, why don't you do your internship at the hospital were I am in the psychiatric ward believe me there's nowhere better to get experience than there"

She looked at him and smiled, she loved the idea, this way she can be close to him.

ZARA: "Actually that's a great idea, I think I will be staying in Istanbul too." They were just looking at each other smiling. " oh by the way are you both coming with us to the beach?" They both answered yes very happily.

DENIZ: "good, bring a change of clothes we're going back to the farm for a barbecue, Elkin I think your parents will be there too."

ELKIN: "sounds good, we have to get back see you tomorrow."

SANEM: "Can, I think the girls are going to be married in no time."

CAN: "I think you're right my sweet wife, but I think we need to finish up before our appointment comes in." Sanem looked at him and rolled her eyes and Can laughed. "Don't worry beautiful no woman compares to you!"

Ela and Asli were sitting at their desks when Antonio and Gio walked in with each a bouquet of flowers and went straight to the girls desk, Nihat and Aziz saw this.

AZIZ: "what the hell, who do they think they are!!"

NIHAT: "Yeah, flowers really, those guys are definitely after them"

Back in Can's office.

EMRE: "Can, look at the Italians they brought flowers for Ela and Asli"

LEYLA: "and look at Aziz and Nihat, smoke is coming out of there ears!"

Leyla and Sanem are smiling. Can is wondering why are they smiling.

CAN: " why are you two smiling? Sanem, look at the boys they don't look happy. It looks like they're ready to start something."

SANEM: "oh Can, they won't do anything, unless they are boyfriends and girlfriends. Although you never know."

LEYLA: "how sweet look how jealous they are"

EMRE: "Leyla, why is it sweet, I don't get it."

LEYLA: "because it's romantic, don't you both remember how you were with me and Sanem."

CAN: "yes, we wanted to beat everyone up that looked at you. And still do."

EMRE; "that's right no one looks at our girls."

SANEM; "see us girls love it when you protect us and take care of us, now watch our boys, they are going over to the girls."

CAN: "they look like they are going to hit those two Italians." Sanem and Leyla are smiling

SANEM: "that's what it looks like my dear husband"

Nihat and Aziz walked over to the girls just in time when they heard gio and Antonio asking them out to dinner. And the girls agreeing, Nihat and Aziz weren't happy, they know exactly what these two are after. And they don't care if these two are innocent or not. gio and Antonio looked at nihat and Aziz and smiled and walked away."

NIHAT: "what are you two doing agreeing to go out to dinner with those two playboys"

ELA: excuse me, but who are you to tell us what to do! We can go out with whom ever we want."

AZIZ: "those guys are after one thing and they want it from the two of you, there players you need to be careful!" All four are getting very angry.

Deniz and Zara are watching this along with their parents, and uncle Emre and Leyla.

DENIZ: "wow, would you look at our brothers they are very jealous." The girls are smiling and Can and Emre are just looking at them.

EMRE: Deniz my sweet niece, I don't understand what you are so happy about look how jealous they are."

ZARA: "because now we know that the boys are in love, they just have to figure it out."

LEYLA: I just love my nieces, they are so smart, and romantics like us Sanem."

SANEM: "yes, they are, but look at your girls watching them too, they're smiling, but your boys seem more worried."

LEYLA: "yes, like father's like sons and daughters like mothers." The women started laughing.

Can and Emre just looked at them and shrugged their shoulders.

NIHAT: "there is no way you are going out with them by yourself" Ela has her hands on her hips and is in his face

ELA: "watch me and she walks away"

AZIZ: "Asli, Nihat is right, I don't like the way they are looking at you both."

ASLI: and why do you both care, we're just friends right."

AZIZ: "friends look out for each other"

ASLI: "but friends also support each other!! (Angrily) but you two are trying to boss us around, not happening!"and she walks away

SANEM: "wow, Can, I feel like history is repeating itself, look familiar?"

CAN: "Actually it does" and he starts laughing. " but you have to admit you were clueless when guys were coming on to you"

SANEM: "was I? I don't remember, actually you were the one that was clueless both you and Emre, you never noticed when women were flirting with you."

EMRE: "that's because we didn't care, we already had what we wanted."

CAN: "the most beautiful, and loving Aydin sisters"

Deniz and Zara were smiling and laughing, they love their aunt and uncle and how they're so much like their mother and father. Very protective and loving towards each other.

SANEM: okay, I guess the show is over. We should be heading into the conference room soon, because we have another middle aged wannabe diva coming in. And it's time to roll up my sleeves and fight for my man." And she starts play boxing with Can. They're both laughing, and he grabs her and kisses her.

CAN: "nothing to worry about princess you are and will always be my one and only!"

SANEM: I better be Divit, because I can really kick some ass!"

CAN: "oh I know. Love you my princess."

SANEM: "love you to my prince."
