Chapter 78

Sanem was now five months pregnant, so far she was feeling okay, the babies were doing well. They decided to find out what they are having.

DOCTOR:"are you two ready to find out what the sex of your babies are."

Both at the same time "Yes!" The doctor laughed.

"Well it looks like there girls, Congratulations to the both of you.!!" Can and Sanem were crying. Can was hugging and kissing Sanem.

CAN: I love you Bebek, Girls, were have identical twin girls, do you believe it."  Sanem was crying, she was so happy. Can is wiping the tears away and kissing her cheeks.

SANEM: "Can, girls, do you believe it, daddy's little girls. I love you so much Can!" can kisses her passionately. "I love you too Bebek.

CAN: "Sanem, we're both so excited now, I know everyone is going to sense something. What should we do if Leyla and Emre  ask."

SANEM: "okay, we will just say we're having a girl, that's it and we are just so excited to see her moving on the ultrasound." He kissed her and agreed and headed back to the office. CeCe was the first to see them, he noticed how happy they were.

CECE: "Sanem, how was everything at the doctor, you seem very excited, I assume everything went well?"

SANEM: "yes, everything is perfect CeCe, we even saw the baby moving on the ultrasound. We're so excited!"

CECE: "aww Sanem I'm so happy for you both, do you know what you're having? I know you do, I can tell, please sanem tell me."

SANEM: "okay, we're having a girl!!" And she smiling ear to ear.

CECE: "how exciting, you know you can name the baby CeCe, it can be for a boy or girl."

Sanem smiled and pinched his cheek. "I don't think so CeCe. And walked away. "Okay Sanem , I'm not upset don't worry!" He yelled out. "I know you're not, love you CeCe!" He smiled and was truly happy for his best friend.

Sanem tried to avoid Emre and Leyla until she calmed down. But it was too late Can already told Emre it's a girl and of course Emre told Leyla.

Leyla was hugging Sanem she was so happy, Emre was just excited he was going to be an uncle. But they also had there own news to share

LEYLA: Can, Sanem, I'm three months pregnant!!"

The siblings hugged each other, Aziz and Miriban joined in the hugging session.

AZIZ: this is wonderful news, the family is growing, finally I'm going to be a grandfather"

MIRIBAN: and me a grandmother, this is so exciting!!"

Everyone had hard time getting back to work, because of all the excitement. But they did, McKinnon came in with his wife to go over there campaign and we're both very pleased. There launching in a month, things were going smoothly, Can and Sanem put a good word in for Gamze and McKinnon hired her.

MCKINNON: "Can, she knows her stuff, she's a hard worker. Thank you for suggesting her."

CAN: it was my pleasure. Yes she very smart and a good person."

MCKINNON: " actually I think my son is interested in her. Hopefully things work out."

SANEM: " that's so nice, I'm so happy Mr McKinnon ."

She had tears in her eyes. " dear are you okay?"

SANEM: oh I'm sorry, yes I'm okay, but these days everything makes m cry." Mrs McKinnon gave her a hug.

MCKINNON: " that's okay I understand, that's the way my wife was when she was pregnant, I never knew if she was happy or sad." He laughs

They finished up their meeting and Can and Sanem  were getting ready to leave when he receives a phone call from Bella's dad Ali.

ALI: Can, I need a Huge Favor, please."

CAN: "what is it, are you all ok, Bella?"

ALI: "yes, everything is fine. I need you to do the father daughter dance at the girls recital, you will be with Bella, please Can, she really wants you to do it with her."

CAN: "You know I love Bella, but this, Ali, I hardly ever dance, I'd be terrible."

ALI: "Can, you don't have to be good, that's the whole point of the dance, to make fun of the dads." Can starts laughing. "Can, this is good practice for you, if you have a girl."

CAN: "let me think about it, I will let you know by the end of the day." They hung up, and Can was thinking, what should I do, I don't want to disappoint Bella. Sanem is looking at Can.

SANEM: "Can is everything okay, is Bella ok?"

CAN: " yes she's great, she's adjusted very well she's even calling them Annem and baba."

SANEM: " that's so nice, I'm so happy for them and Bella. Okay so why the long face."

CAN: " actually he called to see if I wanted to do the father daughter dance with Bella at her dance recital. He said it's hard to do it with both his girls, and Bella wants me to do it." She can see Can didn't really want to do it.

SANEM: Can, that's so sweet , you're going to do it aren't you?"

CAN : I don't know, Sanem, in front of all those people, I don't think so, plus you know me I'm not a dancer."

Sanem started giggling.

SANEM : Can, you don't have to be a good dancer, I'm sure none of the fathers are, it's just for fun. Please do it, it will be good practice for our girls."

Can looks at her and smiles.

CAN: I was hoping our girls would do soccer you know a sport, so I can coach their games."

SANEM: " Sanem started laughing, sports are for our boys, girls are dancers. Call him and tell him yes, please Can, please." She's practically begging. He's looking at her and smiling, grabs her and kisses her.

CAN: " I don't know why, but I can't say know to you!"

SANEM: I love you, you are going to be the best baba, quick call him back and tell him you're going to do it!!"

Sanem was dancing around he's laughing, he loves to see her happy. " Can Bella is going to be so happy!!"

Can called her father back and told him he would do it, he heard Bella jumping up and down and clapping."

SANEM: " see Can you just made that sweet little girl so happy." Sanem started crying.

CAN: " bebek why are you crying, aren't you happy "

SANEM: " that's why I'm crying, I'm very happy, I love love love you so much Can Divit!!" she grabs him and kisses him passionately.

CAN: " how much do you love me, are you willing to show me?"

SANEM: " of course I am, I'm always willing to show you " he grabs her and picks her and puts her on the bed and starts tickling her. And then he starts talking to her stomach.

CAN: " okay girls this is your baba, just so you know, I will be dancing at your recitals, I hope you both are happy "

Sanem feels the babies move. "Can, feel my stomach there moving, see they're very excited that you will be dancing with them." He Smiled and kissed her stomach. " I love all three of my girls, I would do anything for you three. " but now mama owes me, go to sleep girls we will talk tomorrow." Sanem started laughing, Can it's like they heard you they calmed down." She grabs his cheeks and starts kissing him. You're going to be the best baba, thank you for doing this for Bella"

CAN: " you're welcome my love, now let's get down to business, because you owe, and I'm about to collect"

The next couple of weeks were busy, Can was going to practice with Bella and her sister and their father, he was actually enjoying it so was Bella's father. They couldn't stop laughing at each other.  All the fathers were enjoying themselves and having a good time. Can was happy to see that he's not the only one that can't dance.

SANEM: how was practice, did you have a good time."

CAN: I did, you know it feels good knowing that I'm not the only one that can't dance." She starts laughing.

"'The recital is next Friday, are you coming to all three shows."

SANEM: " of course I am, I wouldn't miss any of them."

It was the first night of the recital, Sanem was so excited Can was happy to do it, just seeing the smile and excitement on Bella's face was worth it.

SANEM: Can, what dance are you doing ?"

CAN: a little of everything I guess, some tap, ballet, hip hop. I don't know, I can't tell the difference. I just did whatever they told me to do." Sanem was secretly laughing. Oh Can Divit, this is going to be so funny."

Can left early, so he can practice one more time with Bella.

CAN: " Ali, do you think we're ready?" Can and Bella's father Ali start laughing.

ALI: "Can, in all my life I never thought that I would be dancing at a dance recital, I don't even dance, but it's wierd I can't say no to my wife or my girls."

CAN: you and me both Ali, saying no is hard for me too it's like all Sanem has to do is look at me with her beautiful big brown eyes and I say yes"

He starts laughing "I guess anything is possible, I guess I will be doing this again someday.  you know Ali I really enjoyed it, it's so nice to see the girls happy and proud of their fathers or whoever is dancing with them."

ALI: honestly Can I wouldn't want my life to be any different, I'm happy just the way things are."

CAN: " me too. I wouldn't change the way my life has turned out for anything, I consider us blessed."

ALI: I agree, well we better get into our places."

Sanem was sitting front and center, she didn't want to miss any of the father daughter dance. And front and center with her was, Can's parents, her aunt and uncle, Emre , Leyla, Metin, Derin and Akif and his wife.

METIN:" Sanem does Can and Ali know that we're here." Sanem starts laughing.

SANEM: "nope,Can and Ali are in for a big surprise."

AKIF: " Thank you for inviting us Sanem, any chance we get Metin and I always love to tease him."

SANEM: " I noticed, but I think it goes both ways."

The fathers came out and danced for everyone in the audience, all the fathers were enjoying themselves, and almost every one of them messed up their dance steps. The audience laughed and enjoyed every minute of the father daughter dance. When it was all over everyone gave them a standing ovation!! And then Can and Ali heard whistling and their names being called out. They look at each other.

CAN: " Ali, did you hear our names?"

ALI: "I did, who was that."

When the lights went higher Can and Ali saw Metin, Emre and Akif clapping and whistling. Can looks at Sanem and she's laughing and blows him a kiss. Ali and Can just looked at each other and laughed and took a bow."

After Can was done, he went looking for Sanem. She was waiting for him in her seat with everyone else.

SANEM: "I'm so proud of you, thank you, Bella was so happy, she couldn't stop smiling."

CAN: "she was wasn't she, I enjoyed it, I actually had fun" He kisses her "did you invite everyone tonight to come and see me." Sanem looks at him and scratches his beard

SANEM: I did, you know for support, you're not angry are you?"

CAN: " not at all, because I know someday those clowns might have to do it to" Emre, Metin and Akif looked at Can.

EMRE: "who are you calling a clown?"And all three start dancing around, actually they did look like clowns

Dancing around like that.  They were all laughing.

Bella ran over to Can and Sanem and hugged them both, she kissed Can on the cheek and thanked him."

CAN: Sanem those little hugs and kisses make me melt, there was no way I could have said no." She smiles and kisses his cheek

SANEM: "Come on my hunky dancer we have some dance moves of our own to do tonight. Unless you're tired." He takes her hand and brings it to his mouth and kisses it.

CAN: "never "
