Chapter 70

The last couple of days at the hut were incredible for Can and Sanem.

SANEM: "Can, I love it here, but I really just love being here with you alone, just me and you."

CAN: "bebek, I feel the same way, no phone calls, just you and me, but we have to get going, our flight leaves tonight and I have a quick doctors appointment to check out my wound, and we have to say goodbye to everyone before we go."

Can got the all clear from the doctor, they said goodbye to everyone and headed to the airport.

CAN: "Bebek, are you excited? this your first time leaving the country."

SANEM: "I am, a little nervous, but definitely excited."

CAN: "your going to love New York, there so much to see, I even have a broadway show lined up for us." Sanem's eyes lit up

SANEM: "really? Which one?"

CAN: "yours and Bella's favorite, Beauty and the Beast!" Sanem was so excited, she's heard about the exciting city of New York, and broadway. But she never imagined that she would go, especially to do a book signing. Can is staring at her, he loves to see the excitement on her face. "Bebek are you happy?"

She turns to look at him and gives him the sweetest smile.

SANEM: "I am, Can, I'm just happy I'm with you, I could stay at the hut for the next two weeks, with no interruptions, and I would be the happiest person in the world, just as long as I'm with you." He looks at her and smiles puts his forehead against hers

CAN: "Bebek, I feel the same, we will make it a point that at least once a month to get away for a couple of days just the two of us."

SANEM: "I love you Can Divit!!"

CAN: "I love you Sanem Divit!"

They landed safely in New York, Can had a driver pick them up at the airport and take them to a beautiful hotel. She was surprised to see the hotel room was like a mini apartment.

SANEM: "Can, wow, this is beautiful, king size bed, a kitchen, the bathroom is bigger than my bedroom."

She starts giggling. "You didn't have to get something so expensive, really"

CAN: "You deserve the best my love." He grabs her by the waist and brings her in for a passionate kiss. "Okay princess, first things first, first I'm going to make love to you" he starts unbuttoning her top and kissing her neck, " and then we will take a shower " Sanem is melting, she loves when he gets like this. " and then I'm going to take you out to dinner, and you can see the city at night, it's beautiful." Sanem is just melting into him. She starts unbuttoning his shirt and starts kissing and rubbing his chest.

SANEM: "anything you want my hunky husband, I'm all yours." They made love, and took a much needed nap. They were exhausted from the long trip. They got up took their shower and decided to do a simple dinner , and walk around the city for a while since they were still tired.

CAN: "what do you think so far?"

SANEM; "it's beautiful, I've seen many pictures but seeing it in person it's amazing."

The next couple of days were wonderful Can took Sanem all over manhattan, she loved the broadway shows, and the restaurants . This Saturday is her book signing and then a couple more days in the city and back to Istanbul.

CAN: "today is your book signing, and reading how do you feel.

SANEM: "I'm so excited, I hope when I read it in English I do well."

CAN: "I'm positive that you will be fine, and don't worry I will right next to you if you need help."

She smiled and kissed, " Thank you, I feel so much better that you are with me." " I wouldn't be anywhere else." He took her by the hand and headed to the book store.

Sanem and Can entered the book shop and there was a line going out the door.  Burak her American publisher was waiting for her.

SANEM: "Can, do you believe this, I'm in the US and people are reading my book, our story."

CAN: "I believe it, you're very talented my sweet wife."

BURAK: "Sanem, it's so nice to see you again, are you ready to get started.?"she looks at Can, and smiles.

SANEM: "I am, I will do the best I can with my English."

BURAK: "I'm sure you will be fine. Look at all these people, they are here for you."

SANEM: "I can't believe it, Can I'm nervous stay close to me" he took her hand and kissed it, and stood right behind her.

Women were asking questions after Sanem read a couple of chapters, Can was so proud of her she barely asked for any help. The woman were looking at Can and wondered if he was the man in the story. Sanem looked up at him and smiled. And told them that he was. They asked if the story was true was it their love story and she answered yes, it was. So far everyone was loving the book.  There was a young girl, maybe no more than eighteen years old.

YOUNG Girl: "Miss Ayden "

SANEM: "actually I am Mrs. Divit now and she looks at Can and smiles."

YOUNG Girl: "You answered my question. True love does exist, thank you." Sanem decided to talk to her personally.

SANEM: "do you doubt true love?"

YOUNG Girl: "I don't, but people make fun of me because I'm a dreamer and I'm always reading romance novels, but I can't help it that's who I am."

SANEM : "you're just like me, I was a dreamer and still am, nothing is wrong with that, Can and I had our difficulties but we fought through it, and here we are in New York City on our honeymoon. It's okay to dream, just remember things will happen when they are supposed to happen."

YOUNG GIRL; "thank you so much Mrs. Divit, I will buy every book you write!!" Sanem smiled, such a sweet young girl, they talked a little while longer, but it was time to go. Sanem gave the girl her private Facebook page so they can keep in touch.

BURAK: "Sanem, you did a wonderful job, your book is a hit, all sold out, people are placing orders in advance."

SANEM: "wow, I can't believe it, I have to say , Can and I did have a very interesting love story."

BURAT; "honestly I think that's what pulled everyone in, you were honest and told them that it is a true story and people love a good love story, especially when it's a true story and it has a happy ending."

SANEM: "thank you Burak, hopefully I will have another story soon."

They left the book store and went to get something to eat.

CAN: "I'm so proud of you Bebek, you did very well reading in English, even the accent was good."

SANEM: "I practiced a lot and of course my photographic memory helps a lot" he smiles and pinches her cheek. The next couple of days were amazing, But the honeymoon was coming to an end, they were packed up and are ready to leave for the airport.

CAN: "Sanem, how did you like NY?"

SANEM: "it was amazing, I would love to visit again someday."

CAN: "we will definitely make a trip back. I have a surprise for you, we're not going back to Istanbul right away, we're stopping in Italy for a couple of days."

Sanem was so excited.

SANEM: "Can, are you serious, now that's one place I always wanted to go, it looks beautiful in pictures."

CAN: "it is, I'm taking you to Rome. You're going to love the history there."

Can and Sanem landed in Italy, she was so excited, she had this huge smile on her face, again he went all out with a beautiful suite.

Sanem walks up to Can, and puts her arms around his neck, and kisses him.

SANEM: "Can, thank you. This is beautiful"

CAN: "how thankful are you?" Starts giggling.

SANEM: "Very, if you want I can show you, but first I want to have some pasta, and gelato, and then I will be even more thankful." He picks her up and throws her on the bed, and starts lifting up her shirt, and starts tickle kissing her from the neck down.

CAN: "are you sure you don't want to show me now?"

She starts kissing him and caressing him, "Can Divit I can never say no to you, you just make me melt. I love you so much." " And I love you my sweet wife."

Can and Sanem didn't stop, they must of seen all the historical sights in Rome. It was tiring, there was a lot to see, but worth it.

It was there last night in Italy, they went out to eat dinner at this beautiful little restaurant on the waters edge.

SANEM: "Can it's so beautiful here, and so relaxing."

CAN: "this is one of my favorite spots, my friends and I would come here often when we were on break, from the university."

She looks into his eyes and just stares at him and smiles.

CAN : "what are you thinking bebek."

SANEM: "I'm thinking I'm so lucky to have met you, I can't believe you are actually mine." He takes her hand and kisses it.

CAN: "I'm the lucky one bebek, I've traveled around the world, never really settling anywhere, I never expected that I would fall in love, and here I am, with the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on. You complete me, Sanem, you are my other half." He hugs her and kisses her. "Are you ready for some chocolate gelato.?"

SANEM: "yes, I am." Can takes out money to pay the bill and he hears someone call his name.

"Can, is that you, Can Divit." Can looks up and sees Gamze walking towards them. Can is surprised to see her and so is Sanem.

CAN: " Gamze, what are you doing here?"

GAMZE: "I work here in Italy, actually we're getting ready to open the other office in Istanbul, we should be there in a couple of months." Gamze looks at Sanem and smiles. "Hello Sanem, nice to see you again."

SANEM: "nice to see you too."

GAMZE: "so are you two vacationing?"

CAN: "Actually we are on our honeymoon, we got married a couple of weeks ago." Gamze was completely caught off guard, she was surprised. Sanem couldn't read her, was she happy or not.

GAMZE: "wow, congratulations! I never expected that of you Can Divit, this is definitely a surprise, you were quite the player in college, a different girl almost every night."

CAN: "people change Gamze I met my other half my soul mate." He looks into Sanem's eyes and caresses her cheek and kisses her hand. Sanem is looking at her, why did she have to say he was a player and he had a different girl every night, what the heck was that! did she want to see how I would react.

GAMZE; "when are you leaving, maybe we can get together."

CAN: "we're leaving tomorrow, maybe some other time."

GAMZE: "well I will leave you two love birds to enjoy the rest of your honeymoon, good night!"

Can and Sanem walked through the city and took in the sites one more time. Can noticed Sanem was quiet.

CAN: "Bebek are you okay, your very quiet."

She turns and looks at him, looks into his eyes and says

SANEM: "Can, how close were you with Gamze?"

CAN: "just friends it was one big group, we never hung out by ourselves, why?"

SANEM: "I think she may be a little disappointed that we got married."

CAN: "Sanem, I doubt it, she never showed any interest in me before and I never showed any interests in her either."

SANEM: "Can, when she said you were quite the player and had a different girl every night in college she looked right at me, she wanted to see my reaction."

CAN; "what, like she's jealous, I think you think every woman wants me, I highly doubt it that she's jealous Sanem, plus she was exaggerating about a different girl every night, I wasn't that bad."

Sanem decided to leave it at that, hopefully they won't see her again. She put her arms around his neck and brings him in for a kiss. "How about that gelato, we can take it back to our room, what do you think?"

SANEM: "sounds good to me, this is our last night of our honeymoon, and I will do whatever you want, I owe you a big thank you Can Bey." He grabs her by the waist and brings her in for a passionate kiss.

CAN: "Anything?"

SANEM: "anything" and she starts giggling. He takes her by the hand, and practically starts running back to the hotel.

"Wait what about are gelato."

CAN: "don't worry princess, I will order some and they will bring it to our room." They spent the rest of the night making love. They layed in bed holding each other, both feeling happy and content.

SANEM:" Can, I had a wonderful time, thank you, for this wonderful honeymoon."

CAN: "Bebek, I would do anything for you, I'm glad you enjoyed it, maybe in a couple of months we can take a couple of days and go to Greece, what do you think.?"

SANEM: "Greece, oh Can, I would love that, the Parthenon, acropolis, the beaches,that would be beautiful, maybe we can visit a nice quiet little island to.."

CAN: "it's a plan, our next vacation will be in Greece.!"

SANEM: "I love Can,"

CAN: "I love you, my sweet wife."
